I'm on the East Side; Avalon Park. My brother is in Windermere (well sorta, he lived in Marina Bay and moved up (or down; depending) to Bay Hill.

I don't think I will be joining this cruise. We will just be paying off our DCL Med. cruise come August 2007. We are saving up for DCL Alaska for 2009 (Hopefully!)

My DH works right there near you guys off Lake Underhill.

We need a local DIS meet for all of us Orlando gabbers.

Power is going off here from 1pm-5pm PST, so I will have to check the 30 new pages latter tonight.
OK Judy, I think that I am at the 30 mark now. Will try to keep up.

I hear ya! Catherine turned 14 in November. She got a new cellphone for Christmas which has full "qwerty" keyboard to make text messaging easier. We got her a verizon unlimited "In Network" text messaging plan and 500 out of network messages.

We just got out first bill on the new plan and the charges were almost $200. I checked to see why it wasn't around $100 as per the agreement.

Basically she had over 1,500 in network messages, but 795 out of network, plus she used 556 of the 700 minute shared plan so that cost us additional too.

She carries that thing around like a "Woobie". (Mr. Mom reference). The world could be on fire and that wouldn't bother her, but if her cell phone didn't work... :scared1:

Brooke has a cell phone but a GREAT plan !!!!! It's a pay as you go :rotfl2: It teaches her how to use her phone wisely which is a GOOD thing.:cool1: Her phone has all the cool gizmos and gadgets. Only real thing with the phone is you have to top it off at least once every 3 months. 20.00 a card.

Yum. These will go nicely with my coffee this morning.

Glad you liked.:)

Not sure if anyone uses Southwest, but I found some information from some one in their scheduling department that they are delaying the next schedule window until 2/8 (approximately) for mid-May through Mid-August. This is major change from past schedule extentions. I may have to call in sick that day too (feeling ill on 1/31 already) so I can book FF tickets to Orlando this summer.

Any of you who are under 30 POSTS post up and TAKE WHAT YOU CAN

Uh oh - I better get busy - only 11 so far!

But this will probably be it for the rest of the day, taking my DH to see Toby Keith and Miranda Lambert tonight. Last night at dinner I was telling him about this thread and all the FUN people who are on it and how much fun we will have - he is actually starting think it might be okay to eat dinner with other people!

DW & I are hoping to book this cruise and invited my sister and her husband to go as as well! (2 staterooms) This would be our 10th Disney cruise and my sister and her husband's first ever!
Wish us luck!!!

Oh, I love TK....say Hi to the big dawg for me...Joe Nichols was performing with him when we went

Staying noncommitted----I understand!!!!! I think its too late for me. No turning back now. Remember you cannot escape the PIRATE ZONE!!!!!! Its a huge vortex sucking you in further and further. Once you enter----its too late.
Same here.........::yes:: I already bought the binder and have the tabs all labeled .:rolleyes1

Hi everyone....My DH and myself are hoping to get a cabin on this cruise. We were on the 11 night Southern Caribbean in Sept and absolutely loved it. We can't wait to meet all of you and see the ones we met before. I have been following this thread and we have finally decided to jump in and join you!!! :cool1:

Lorri-----I LOVE TOBY KEITH!!!!!!! HUGE FAN !!!!!! CAN I GO????????

When did you leave off ? And yes ANYONE can be taught pirate especially if they hang out here for any amount of time. I will even strongly encourage my 80 yo mom to participate. Its no fun sitting on the sidelines.

Hey, we'll have to get our parents together, kinda like we're planning for the various kids. My mom will be 78 and my dad 83. When I told my mom about the cruise she said she wanted to go if she's still around. I told her she was not allowed to talk like that around me.

ChrizJen: I love your sig. I quoted that to my DS last night to cheer him up! He's 9 y/o going through this realization of mortality lately & it's freaking him out. He eyes got really wide & he said, "yeah what if the Hokey Pokey is what it's all about?" We both laughed. I said "yes it's all about having as much fun in this life & not worrying about the 'what ifs'"!

I am way under 30 posts so I really need to catch up!

Thanks for the updates Lisa & Judy!!!

Talk about commitment! I started thinking I MIGHT cancel my NCL cruise for April/08 & book this one instead of course depending on the.......oops can't say that word! ;) Anyway, now that I've been on here & reading how creative & fun everyone is....How could I possibly back out now?

BTW I can't speak Pirate either, but I can add in a little aaarrrgh now & then! pirate:

The more the merrier I say - but it is downright cold up here today, only made it to 23 and it's supposed to go down to 4 tonight :scared1: !

Okay Lorri --- thats way too cold for me. I might have to call Andy's mom for a sweater or something. :lmao: :lmao:

How bout if you just go into the concert and TAKE WHAT YOU CAN and bring Toby to Disney World.

Yes Great idea!!!!! Ya hear that thread mistress???????

Andy's mom is coming too!!!!

I must say, however...I do not know how much "pirate" we have in us! I'm in serious doubt of my ability to be pirate-like at all! All the talk of swashbuckling fun has me feeling a bit inferior...Is this perhaps something that can be learned in a matter of, say 19 months? :confused3

-Christal

Stick around. This group has an amazing impact on your pirate quotient. I started off with the same feeling.

Last night in answering the how you met your significant other question I realized that I stole my friend's woman and took her to another state--very pirate-like.

In thinking about the challenge to get to 30 posts, I also realized that I do my best work at night!!! Also, I think, a bit "swashbuckling"!! I think my number of posts increases the later it gets!!

All this is the very short time it has taken us to push 2,300 posts!!
