I know the feeling . . I have everything spreadout on my extra desk in my office . . I keep looking at it thinking I'll have time to at least finish another page. I'm about half way done with our trip in January. The crop for this month was cancelled (mainly b/c it has been me and my CM consultant . . LOL)

Have you tried the CM power box? It really helped me get me act together for my trip. . .now it's just spending the time to get it wrapped up . . soon . . :rotfl:

I haven't tried the power sort layouts box yet because I don't see a point in it for me. I tend to print pictures based on what I know I'll use on each page, and already have the page layout mentally mapped out before I have the pictures in hand (sometimes before I even take the pictures). If I go through the process of putting all of that stuff in a box, I might as well just get out the adhesive & put it in an album, KWIM? Am I missing some magical powers of the sort box?

Oh, I do have 2 of the power sort minis to hold pictures. I like that they are water resistant and that the lid is held on with elastic. They seem nicer than the generic craft store photo boxes.

We have investigated several handhelds for Sudoku. My problems are most of them don't allow for tick marks....where you can jot down the possible answers for each square. The only handheld one that has that feature is the Nintendo DS Brain Age game. It is VERY cool....except my sons never let me play theirs. When you get to most Hard puzzles, tick marks are essential. I used to read two or three books a week a year or so ago. I now do Sudoku puzzles instead. I keep a booklet in my purse at all times. I also have one by the toilet (TMI) and next to my bed. I've spent a five hour flight (New York to Seattle or Hawaii to Seattle) just doing Sudoku puzzles. My husband and I get the same booklet and we race to see who can finish the same puzzle fastest (and get it right). I win most of the time. :thumbsup2 Not that I'm competitive or anything....

My only requirement for the booklets....they must be printed on quality paper since I do so much scribbling on the pages and erase a lot (once I eliminate possibilities). Penciling and erasing on newsprint-type paper feels like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

We'll need to have a Sudoko competition one day. Warning: I do Sudoko in PEN.

Oh absolutely....it depends on the personality. It's just very funny that it seems to be the trend for so many of the people I come in contact with.

But......my dd loves dolls, and is still not very cuddly....she only likes to cuddle in the morning and before bed. She's also VERY active, so I think it may have something to do with just not wanting to slow down at all during the rest of the day.:confused3

My ds, even at age 11 doesn't care at all if I hug or kiss him in front of friends. I hope that never changes.

I kiss and hug my kids several times each day, because I really believe the day you stop....it's hard to go back. KWIM?

My DD4 is not cuddly either. Too squirmy.

Just a quick note before I head off to "Feed the Darlins". Hope everyone's had a great week and has an even better weekend. My Pink Tink :moped: is now on consignment at the scooter shop...$2200.00 if anyone's interested ;) This will be our 1st weekend as "business owners", wish us luck pixiedust:

Crash,

The questions is, what percent of the posters here are Swabbies? I bet the Wenches have us 2:1, so 30.6% given the odds isn't too bad.

Do have a question regarding the recap, the "first pirate for the Swabbies in a while", does that mean since 35,000? Was it not a Swabbie who won that one?

YES IT WAS. ME. But I guess I'm not important so maybe I'll just take my pirate and go home. pout.

Good Luck to you, Debi & Kevin!

Good evening all!
Keeping an eye on the computer and the tv. GA is a rerun so I started watching the new Jeff Foxworthy show on Fox...Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader. OMG...the guy on now reminds me of Woody from Cheers.:eek: :sad2:

:banana: Congrats on your pirate: ~

Super Kitty did eventually return. DBro and I never did manage to catch her again after that.:rolleyes1

Thanks for the input! That's were DH and I are leaning now. Must admit that I looooooooove the idea of sailing so close to home. I am not afraid of flying...just the hassle of logistics.

Are you looking at the 5-day to Bermuda or the 11-day. I did the 5-day last summer and had a blast!:thumbsup2

Since the washing machine decided to break yesterday, I guess other things will start too.:headache:

Yes, all the appliances talk to each other and determine the order in which they will break down. It's a conspiracy.

Morning everyone!!!! :surfweb:

I'm not sure why we are figuring out how old our kids will be when we are 49, but mine will be 24 & 22.

And we will be living in a cardboard box after paying for college for 2 boys who are only 1 year apart in school.

I'll be the same way! I have 3 kids right in a row (currently 7th, 8th, and 9th grades) I will be so broke 8 years from now!!!!

When I am 49 my kids will be 28, 26, 25, 22, and...15 :scared1:

I wonder if I will be a grandma yet? How exciting!!! :scared:

And, I watched the "Smarter than a 5th Grader" show last night for the first time! How fun, the kids loved it, (of course, they all did much better than I did!) :laughing: What a fun family friendly show!!!!

Have a great day everyone, it is my favorite day of the week..."stay home day", my DD2 and I stay home on Fridays and spend some quality time together :banana: :banana: :banana:

Maybe I can figure out how to make a signature with "our" logo so Captain Jack doesn't get mad at me!

Poohmom :hippie:

Good Friday Morning Gang! Finally!!

~~~Happy Birthday Karen and Jordan~~~
It is pouring here. At least it's warm and therefore not snow.
The Evening/West Coast group keep this place hopping at night. It took me 19 pages to ketchup on the important stuff.
AI- my biggest fear is that this VFTW is going to eliminate someone who truely deserves a chance.
Earthquakes - I was in San Francisco when the Oct. 1989 quake hit, on my honeymoon. To quote Ron White, "....and there's your sign..."
Dream Car- MB 500SL
Getting Old-naw! I'm still 25 only with alot more money and enough sense to know not to mix Baileys and beer.
OK, I got work to do.......
