Watching the clips of the actors who have died this past year was sad. I had no idea most of them had...guess the kids & school with DH oot so much has kept me away from the news.

I always get goosebumps when I watch that - and discover a few people who have passed on that I didn't know about.

Did you notice one of them was Jack Wild. They showed a clip of him from "Oliver". He was the boy in HR Puff n' Stuff.

He was one of the one's I don't remember hearing about, probably because it wasn't covered anywhere...

Congrats on becoming official!!! :cool1: :cool1:

I would love to have my own motorcycle too. It would have to be custom made since my legs are so short.

I'm only 5'3" and the one I'm looking at, I can sit on and flat foot on the ground no problem.

You had a BUSY day Caroline! Sounds like you all have made great progress on your floor!

All I can say is WOOOOHOOOO the weekend is over!! We had a nice ending though. Had a nice turkey dinner at my mom's house. Not sure which was the better part; the dinner, or the fact that I didn't have to cook it or clean up after it.:rolleyes1 Then we had a cake for DD's birthday that was last week. It was cute though. My mom asked her what her favorite kind of cake was and she like vanilla cake with chocolate icing. Gee, more cake... This is my least favorite kind so my DD told her she could make a vanilla/vanilla one (isn't she sweet!) But my mom insisted on making her favorite.:goodvibes

The floor is done. I left it to DH and didn't even go check it out. I'll put my trust that he did his best.:flower3:

Here is a picture we took of the Marigalante when we were in PV last November.

i hate snow thank god for 4 wheel dr i came to work @ 6pm and there were so many cars on the road i saw 4 crashes! i have no idea where these people were going on a sun nite in this weather:confused3 on person lost it right in front of me i saw they were ok and headed to work if i didnt have to be at the hospital i would be home in front of the fireplace:)

I hate s*** too - it's snowing here now, we're supposed to get 3-6 inches when it's all over tomorrow night. I'm sure that we won't get salted or plowed so I just might be staying home tomorrow (did I mention before that my car SUCKS in s***?)

Health isnusrance is a real bummer for us self-employed. We ended up going with a Health Savings Account plan. We have a $5300 ded. before our insurance will pay a dime and then they pick up 100%. We deposit the ded. amount into an account that works like a debit card to pay for any medical related expenses.

We looked into doing that a few years ago, but it seemed to be almost as much as regular insurance!

I'm sorry Peter O'Toole didn't win - didn't see his movie, or Forest Whittakers but hear tremoundous things about both of their movies. I'll probably get both on DVD.

I wish we would get some snow.....I have been getting jealous of so many of you!:confused3

Caroline, It would have cost us roughly $17,000 (1450 mon) for great coverage. DS has allergies, exzema,ADD and asthma(when he was young.) I had 2 herniated disks and psorasis. Our HSA is about $4500 (360 mon) + $5300 we put on the card. It saves us a little over $7000 a year. The thing that I like the best about it is that what ever we don't use on the debit card stays there and grows. We had been fairly healthy the last 3 years, but DH knee surgery will take all of this years deposit.

Good night Lorri and Lisa. Sweet dreams
