Wow Mary, when did this happen!! This morning you put that up on your own and then removed it. Now TG has granted your wish. Congrats. :cool1: :cool1:

Now I have tag envy.. :sad1:

Thanks Roger! I was having a bad day and I think I became pathetic somewhere along the way. Thanks to some cheer leading from the kind friends here (and a bribe of chocolate) the Tag Fairy took notice and blessed me with a tag! I'm confident your day will come soon as well!

AI just finished here. WOW!

So, Crash's DW has been gone for 6 days. I guess we won't see him tonight.

I hope.

Say, a few 1000 posts back I mentioned that we were starting our fresh milk delivery this week :)
Mike-Truck.jpg

Well it arrived and now DW has her mysterious "blue cooler box" sitting on the front porch!

The dairy rep said that I would probably be able to handle their fresh (delivered within 2-4 hours of collection) milk even though I'm lactose intolerant and someone wanted to know if that was true. Well, I can say there haven't been any ill affects as a result of the milk! :woohoo: So maybe we can give up buying DairyEase milk! :yay:

That's awesome!

You know what...I am confused now too. When Judy said that I just thought that she was talking about the same person. Time for bed! :lmao:

I was thinking it was the same person too. I'm confused.

Evening everyone. Lots of catching up. I'm waaiting til tomorrow to catch up on AI but did catch the last singer tonight. Started watching Lost but got distracted. Great that it is all DVR'd for later.
Judy love the pup. We have a Boston Terrier. When I have the time I will try to post a pix. We knew a lady here that rescued the flying squirrels and kept them in her home. She said her neighbors were always complaining about the critters.:confused3 Could never understand that. They must've thought it would bring down the value of their homes?
Tomorrow is Dr. day We have 4 visits. The 4th wasn't orig scheduled. Wish us luck as we get the results of his MRI:thumbsup2
Try to check in tomorrow. Nite all
Wishing you luck and praying!

I'm beginning to think I'll be tall on this cruise! You are like the 5th person to post that they are under 5'. I can't remember exactly who, but there was a pre-booking conversation about mass drownings if we had water aerobics in the adult pool.

I'm 5'2". I actually get uncomfortable when I am the tallest person in a group of adults. It happens so seldom.

Hey Pot, how tall are ya?

I love the shoe thing. All of my gender-neutral shoes (hiking boots, snow boots, hockey skates, etc.) come from the little boy's dept., usually at about a 40% savings.
I used to be 5'2 & 1/4 (yes, you have to count that! LOL) and now I'm 5/2 & 3/4! Somehow I grew somewhere along the lines. Maybe I'll feel tall too and like you said... it would feel uncomfortable if I was! There are not many people shorter than me. Case in point, my son's teacher last year was quite a bit shorter than me and it just felt so weird when talking to her and stuff when she was standing. I'm only used to looking DOWN at CHILDREN, not adults. LOL

Unfortunately I don't have small enough feet to buy kids shoes. I range 7-8 (occasionally 8.5 if I want them to be roomy) in shoe size. Mostly 7.5

WIMP!

Did anyone else notice the irony that the poster with a song title as a screen name has been forbidden from singalongs?

Oh,Tag Fairy. You temptress.

Wow that's excellent! I might have to try that for my DD. The poor thing is always getting stomach aches even if she takes a Lactaid first.

If you don't have a milk delivery service in your area, you can also try goat milk. I was a little squicked about the idea at first but it was a MUCH better choice than that crapa** soy milk!

SEVEN PIRATE QUESTIONS

The last movie you saw ... WHICH U liked? I sure hope this isn't supposed to be in the theater - because I don't even remember when that was! Rented "Rumor has it" last week - it was cute! Not a favorite, but I liked it.

Your last "real date".... where did ya go? Well, I'd like to count this past Saturday, but we're just friends right now so I guess not a "real date." Umm, I had a blind date (that was also deaf and dumb) a few months ago at a sports bar. Don't worry, my choice because it was a Saturday night during college football season. I have my priorities!

Motorcycle or soap box racer? My inner Dale, Jr. says motorcycle. But my inner no-coordination, life-loving, seen-too-many-wrecks, my-mom-would-kill-me says maybe neither one.

Lobster or a nice big Steak? I would have said both, but since I already know I have to choose then it's definately lobster.

Given a choice... would you and your usual party go for a voyage in a Roy Suite, or 3 voyages in a veranda.... or 7 voyages in a window suite? 12 voyages in a broom closet.

What was (or will be) for dinner tonight? Healthy Choice Pepperoni Pizza

Today ... did you wear Sneakers, Pumps, Flip flops, or what? Big, rubber, purple Birkenstock clogs. (Hey, they matched my Dora the Explorer scrubs!)

How would you best respond to these seven questions

How many pairs of shoes do you have? I was going to guess about 40-50 but I got curious (OCD) and actually counted and it was 73. Yikes!

How many purses/handbags for the ladies? 20

How often do you really exercise every week? Even with the bikini hanging by the TV as a reminder/inspiration, the ab-lounger and exercise mats just laugh at me. :confused3

Whats' your favorite breakfast? Anything at J.Christopher's (a chain here in Atlanta)

Whats' your all time favorite snack? Hard to choose since I gave up most snack food when I started WW a year ago. Probably have to go with my most bizarre also: dill pickles with crunchy peanut butter!

Any hobbies... then what is your favorite one? Reading books. (HP this summer!!)

What's your favorite COLD beverage? A GOOD beer (not Coors, Bud, Busch, etc - I'm a beer snob according to my sister). Which unfortunately I couldn't find on DCL so my 2nd favorite is a margarita.

I'm actually 5'2" & 1/2. Sadly, 1.5" too tall to play Tinkerbell at WDW. DH comforted me by reminding me that I'll start shrinking soon. Nice.

I didn't even think when I posted before that you can tell from the photo in my sig. I'm wearing heals! DH is 6'.

My feet got bigger with each kid :confused3, so now I can actually find shoes in the women's dept. when I want to.

Hey Kimberly that is a Great Pic of your Family!!! I guess they're not coming on the Repo then?

No, the January cruise was our first and we all are making plans for a 7-day in a few years. They said they need the time to save up the money. I just decided that I couldn't wait that long. I guess I have a little more disposable income since I don't have kids. :cool1:

Just checking back in to tell everyone to have a good night. It's been a long day. Hope you feel better tomorrow M.

Night!

Greetings Kimberly. Glad to see that there is another pharmacist on this cruise. We also have a PICU, small 7 bed unit but we have seen a lot of stuff over the years. We also have a 25 bed NICU unit that is usually always full. We do everything for the kids except heart surgery. We usually ship them off to UCLA or Cedars for that. I have spent my fair share of time developing both units and their specialized needs over the years. We have a medium sized hospital that specializes in everything except for transplants and pediatric cardiac surgery. Most of our staff of 2000 MD's are on staff or teach at UCLA or USC therefore we do all of the things that a Big hospital does. I have my ups and down with pharmacy over the years with most of my dissatisfaction relating to administration. Hope to swap stories over the next 18 months.

Roger,

Right now our PICU is 21 beds, but we'll be "upgrading" to 30 beds in September. I only wish that meant that I would be getting an upgrade also. Ha! I feel lucky some days that my administration lets me stay in the building. If I hear one more manager tell me I need to "justify my position" I think I'm going to scream! :headache: Hasn't our value been proven time & time again - especially in ICU's?? But I could go on for hours about that. Like you said, we have 18 months to swap stories. And I should get some sleep now that I'm caught up. Nice to finally talk!

1) How many pairs of shoes do you have? 46!!! Wow!!!

2) How many purses/handbags for the ladies and wallets/briefcases for the men? 17

3) How often do you really exercise every week? um, between 0 and 7. And it shows :rotfl: ;)

4) Whats' you favorite breakfast? denver omelet, hash browns and bread (really any kind of bread, I'm a carb freak!!!) and chocolate milk.

5) Whats' your all time favorite snack? red vines

6) Any hobbies... then what is your favorite one? Tv and scrapbooking.
7) What's your favorite COLD beverage? It used to be Dr. Pepper, but I haven't had a soda in over 14 months.:scared1: So, water or Strawberry lemonade. I don't drink alcohol either.

Ohh, I'm so sorry about Tinkerbell. Did you really want to be her? I assume you did since you know you're too tall. I mean like really really, or just a dream? Either way, I'm sorry. Kinda weird to be too TALL for something I bet. :(

I have to wear heels too if I don't want to look like a munchkin or something, and my DH isn't even all THAT tall. He's 5'11 & 1/2.. Unfortunately I hate wearing heels, so that doesn't happen often. LOL

My feet got bigger with pregnancies too- or maybe the weight I gained with pregnancies? I used to be size 7- solid 7 and nothing bigger. Then for awhile I was wearing 7.5's... recently (past year or so) I've noticed that more often than not, size 8 in most shoes fit me better and are more comfortable. What's weird is that even overweight and even with my feet "growing" (or rather getting smooshed bigger by my weight? LOL probably) they are still narrow and skinny. the only skinny part of my body now. LOL So I have narrow but longer feet- so I get the bigger size. So I guess I've gone up a full size throughout the years? I hope it stops and doesn't continue. I don't want to have to replace my entire shoe wardrobe.. I still have 7.5's that fit but if my feet grow anymore, at all, they won't!

Everyone going night night? I'm going to have to TRY to get to bed early tonight too. I only got 2hrs sleep last night and while that isn't all that unusual, when I have short sleep at night (err.. morning before school?) I can usually take a nap during the day. But today I had dr appt and errands to run (and Tar-jay shopping to do) -so I didn't nap either. And tomorrow I can't nap EITHER because I have another appt and more errands to run all day! And then... and THEN.. after that I have a girl scouts troop overnight aka slumber party at the church for my YOUNGEST daughter's troop.. her first night away from home (except for with my sister once). So there won't be any sleep then. And THEN I have bball games, cheer games, a bunch of other errands on Saturday- then bball/cheer awards ceremony and then we're going to see Cirque Du Soleil which will last late into the night by the time we get home from Dallas.
So... my point? It's now or never. I either sleep at night or I get no sleep until SUNDAY NIGHT... I gotta try to sleep tonight. LOL

And here I've been multi-quoting for the exact opposite reason. :rotfl:

I love your group/family picture!!!!

well good grief! I was looking at my monthly/daily planner and apparently I skipped a day there! I put all of Thursdays stuff to do with Fridays overnighter for my daughter!
Woohoo, I can nap on Friday while the kids are in school.

LOL
good thing because I swear, it never fails... even when I get little to no sleep and can't nap during the day, it never fails that I'll get a second wind or something late at night and not feel the least bit tired- like right now! *sigh*
Insomnia stinks...
