At least one more time, as always, Ms. BIP.
Okay
RED!

There is an upgrade from Micro$oft. Please see http://support.microsoft.com/DST2007. It is an automatic update so if you have your computer to auto-patch, then you'll be fine. If not, follow the instructions and load the patch.
Thanks for the link- definitely will check it out!

I bought this batch a couple years ago. They worked fine in December. Just keep the tube sealed & they should work. :thumbsup2

Mornin' from Alaska. High 13 - Low -3

And I'm sick. I've tried to deny it for 2 days, but I'm sick. Achy, stuffy, hacky oh-my-god-is-it-possible-to-actually-die-of-a-cold SICK!
OH baby. I'm so sorry you are sick! I hope you get well soon!

I've seen you say this a few times, and I have to disagree with you. Crocs are supposed to fit loose. They are not supposed to touch your feet anywhere.

I took this directly from the Crocs website.

THE PERFECT CROCS™ FIT.
Crocs™ should not fit like other shoes:
They should fit very loosely.
The sides of your foot should not really touch the sides of the shoe.
Your toes should never make contact with the front of the shoe.
Once you have centered your foot on the foot-bed:
You should have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space in front of your toes, behind your heel and when you lift the strap you should be able to comfortably get your finger between the strap and heel.
In other words the fit should be “loose”.
I know that this goes against everything that you have ever been used to in a shoe, but these are the parameters that the shoe was designed to be worn under.
No Pressure points Ever!

I had read that before purchasing mine also. However, when I went to the store to buy them, the only place we have them in this small town is a health food store and the employees there were WEARING crocs and they all said that if they are loose you'll be less comfortable. For us, they were accurate. Perhaps we're just weird?
All I know is that I have a few pair and even though they are the same size- they are different "types" and one of the types that I have that is the loosest- is the one pair that gives me blisters on the sides of my ankles and along the top where the strap is- when I wear them all day (like at Costa Maya). the others that aren't as loose, I never get blisters. Same thing with my kids- my daughter's fit well but had a little room to grow at the toe but weren't loose- no blisters. my son's had more room to grow and therefore were looser- he got blisters from them on the 2nd day of our cruise. :confused3
Perhaps it is the DEGREE of looseness... or something. I don't know. I just know if they are loose and you wear them for extended periods of time, apparently SOME people can get blisters from the foot sliding around in there/rubbing from the sliding. Everything that is listed above by them is exactly opposite of how it's worked for us. The shoes that DO fit us like described above end up giving us rubbing blisters because our feet move around the slightest bit in the shoes. the shoes that fit a little more snug (not tight- just not quite as much room as they list out that there should be in the various areas), do not give us blisters. Go figure.

I am not a happy camper right now. We have put Pergo type flooring in two rooms and I have done it myself since it is so easy with the lock and groove. We bought more for our bedroom and I just looked at it. Apparently it is more like (or IS0 hardwood and although it has a groove, it still has to be glued! I DON"T WANT TO GLUE!!!

I was expecting to be able to finish at least half the floor today, but looks like it is going to take a lot longer now... we can't even start for a few days because it has been sitting in the garage and needs to come to room temp first.

Sorry. Just had to gripe...:headache:

ps. I forgot to say why I THINK this is opposite for us. They say the crocs aren't supposed to touch your feet anywhere, but they simply HAVE to touch your feet at some point- when you're walking. Otherwise they would fall right off. When they are loose and the foot moves around- we tended to get blisters in the areas that would be rubbed because they were loose- like the top part and the strap part.. the part that your foot touches when you take steps, the part that keeps the shoe on you. (for me I also got blisters on the inside of the ankles area but I think I'm just weird in that respect... I have the same problem with tennis shoes if they come up too high on the inside of the ankle area- which is why I like the sandals or flipflop kind better than the regular kind)

I'm glad you're okay - DH hates it when I have to have hin do stuff like that.

Anyway, DS isn't doing to good - he called me from school this morning because he forgot to take his advil - luckily his school is only a few minutes from my office so I was able to make a dash down there and give him something. I'm hopeful that he will adjust to these soon.
Just want to add a word of warning about new braces wearers. Hmm? is that a word? Anyway, my DD had her first set of braces when she was about 11 and wore them for a couple of years. She had a lot of rubbing on the inside of her mouth and got a lot of sores there. Well, because it hurt so much she didn't brush back there and didn't move the gums and inside of her cheek much around the sores and the actual cheek where the sores were grew around the wires in the braces. She had to go to ortho and have the skin cut away. Not fun at all. Nice scars inside too. Just make sure he use plenty of that wax and keep reapplying. Funny thing is my DD is such and independent kid she never told us it was hurting and there was a problem until it was too late.

She is too cute! It's nice that you can be that involved in her life, too. :)
What a beautiful young lady. Looks like she enjoys her time with you. You are truly blessed.

How do you guys come up with this stuff??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Drugs? Heavy Drugs. oh yeah and Rum.

:scared: I don't have the power. Only Lisa has that kind of power around here. Oh & Enna! ;)

Now that I'm caught up, sort of, I have to head out to Physical Therapy. Hope to be done with that crap soon. Anyway, hold down the fort okay?

SO I just multi-quoted several posts so I could add my smart add comments to them...but Judy & Stace beat me to all of them!!!

Here is my contribution: YEAH - WHAT SHE SAID!

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Jumping in before the PMS discussion gets out of control!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to the group. Really haven't been back since our 2/3 cruise--had to jump back into life (work, hockey games/coaching, school, etc.) and haven't had much time for the DIS. I don't know how you all do it. We are also still GTY 6. Guessing that it will stay that way for awhile but it bothers my DW much more than I.

Maybe I can hang around long enough to see 30,000 today sometime. I am more of a lurker than a poster but it is hard to keep up lurking on this thread!!

Wishing warm thoughts for all of you and that those sniffles and colds clear up.

Welcome Back!!! We were all  to you as you went sailing past the Two Palms cam on 2-3-07.;)

Thanks for all the get well thoughts, everybody.

Take some Nyquil -- the sniffling, sneezing, coughing, stuffy head, fever, how the heck did I wind up sleeping on the kitchen floor medicine.

:lmao: KWYM. I have to take the stuff when I am actually lying in bed or else I wake up in random places in the house. Nyquil is the best part of being sick. But, alas, none for me this time. I'm single parenting this week & don't want to get too loopy.
