Thanks for all the get well thoughts, everybody.

:lmao: KWYM. I have to take the stuff when I am actually lying in bed or else I wake up in random places in the house. Nyquil is the best part of being sick. But, alas, none for me this time. I'm single parenting this week & don't want to get too loopy.

(noone tell her but I think its too late.....)

(Oh yeah, for "M", established in 1804, Ohio University is the oldest public institution of higher learning in the state of Ohio and the first in the Northwest Territory. Harvard on the Hocking! THANK YOU!

I am always amazed at how far they have come tech-wise. I was there in the early '90's & we still couldn't get cable in the dorms. We'd had cable at our house for about 10 years, so that was just crazy to me.

I think there are a few people here who have earned their BS in Piracy.

Okay
RED!

Thanks for the link- definitely will check it out!

Thanks for the info!

Nope, not me. I relinquished my crown and now CaptainCrash is the queen of rugby now. Grass skirt and all. :0

Add me to that list! Long time fan.

OH baby. I'm so sorry you are sick! I hope you get well soon!

I had read that before purchasing mine also. However, when I went to the store to buy them, the only place we have them in this small town is a health food store and the employees there were WEARING crocs and they all said that if they are loose you'll be less comfortable. For us, they were accurate. Perhaps we're just weird?
All I know is that I have a few pair and even though they are the same size- they are different "types" and one of the types that I have that is the loosest- is the one pair that gives me blisters on the sides of my ankles and along the top where the strap is- when I wear them all day (like at Costa Maya). the others that aren't as loose, I never get blisters. Same thing with my kids- my daughter's fit well but had a little room to grow at the toe but weren't loose- no blisters. my son's had more room to grow and therefore were looser- he got blisters from them on the 2nd day of our cruise. :confused3
Perhaps it is the DEGREE of looseness... or something. I don't know. I just know if they are loose and you wear them for extended periods of time, apparently SOME people can get blisters from the foot sliding around in there/rubbing from the sliding. Everything that is listed above by them is exactly opposite of how it's worked for us. The shoes that DO fit us like described above end up giving us rubbing blisters because our feet move around the slightest bit in the shoes. the shoes that fit a little more snug (not tight- just not quite as much room as they list out that there should be in the various areas), do not give us blisters. Go figure.

Does anyone know what the multi quote record is? 7? 8?

That's what having kids does to you. First they wear you down, and then they bring home all the nasties.....

If I had a choice...

... I would rather not have these "nasties" come in the door...

... but others would admonish that the "nasties" bolster their immune systems!

Uggh....1,200 posts behind again. :sad1:

:thumbsup2 It's good to set high aspirations and achieve them!

I am not a happy camper right now. We have put Pergo type flooring in two rooms and I have done it myself since it is so easy with the lock and groove. We bought more for our bedroom and I just looked at it. Apparently it is more like (or IS0 hardwood and although it has a groove, it still has to be glued! I DON"T WANT TO GLUE!!!

I was expecting to be able to finish at least half the floor today, but looks like it is going to take a lot longer now... we can't even start for a few days because it has been sitting in the garage and needs to come to room temp first.

Sorry. Just had to gripe...:headache:

Wow, Caroline....I'm impressed that you are even attempting a project like that yourself. Good for you! Sorry, it's not the type of installation you were hoping for.....still...I'm sure it'll look great in the end. Good luck!

Oh NO! I had forgotten about the wood needing to adjust to house temperature & indoor conditions until you mentioned it.

Sorry to hear that things aren't going as smoothly as you had hoped.

Just want to add a word of warning about new braces wearers. Hmm? is that a word? Anyway, my DD had her first set of braces when she was about 11 and wore them for a couple of years. She had a lot of rubbing on the inside of her mouth and got a lot of sores there. Well, because it hurt so much she didn't brush back there and didn't move the gums and inside of her cheek much around the sores and the actual cheek where the sores were grew around the wires in the braces. She had to go to ortho and have the skin cut away. Not fun at all. Nice scars inside too. Just make sure he use plenty of that wax and keep reapplying. Funny thing is my DD is such and independent kid she never told us it was hurting and there was a problem until it was too late.

Oh no! Poor baby. :(
I had a lot of swollen gums and I'd get what we all call ulcers around here- sores inside the mouth that hurt like the dickens! but I never had that problem or anywhere near it. Maybe it's because my teeth were too big and the wires were nowhere near the gumline. That does sound extremely painful!
In my day we weren't even given wax or told anything about wax to put on there! Gosh, that would have been nice! Braces are really uncomfortable things.. even without the rubber bands, expander, etc. :(

Oh I wanted to mention my husband and thank everyone for the prayers. Continued prayers please! He did feel better this morning. He was able to get more sleep last night and he said the shoulder wasn't hurting at all the one time he woke up in the middle of the night- but he took a vicodin last night so he could get some sleep. However, this morning it wasn't hurting "as bad" either- so apparently the shot he got did eventually help some. Today he starts his dosage pack of medrol, and I hope it helps too! This is literally the first time he's taken vicodin since I've known him- even when he broke his shoulder, broke his fingers a few times (at work too), had knee surgery, etc.- he has always avoided taking vicodin.. stuff like ibuprofen or tylenol is all he would ever take. Like I said, he has a high tolerance for pain and just doesn't want the vicodin in his system either- but he HAD to, so he could get some sleep... he was really worn down from lack of sleep because of not being able to get comfortable at all with that shoulder hurting.

Oh and I was able to get some POTC stuff at Target today! I don't know what all the stores had but ours had lanyards, pkgs of pencils, notebads and vinyl bag things. They also had some cars stuff- like the little boards that you write on with the pen thing that you can wipe off. whatever those things are called (my mind went blank, I can't think of the name of them!) I also got Rita some Disney Princess sticky notepads!
I bought some extras of things... a few of this and that, just so I'll have some things to spread some pixie dust on the cruise. that is if everyone doesn't already have it all already! Ohwell, who couldn't use more?

(btw the lanyards are black and red. Ofcourse... POTC colors but that's ALL that's in it- black and red- no brown or any other colors. I thought it was ironic. LOL)

Now how do you use these lanyards? What do you attach to it to be able to put your KTTW in it and stuff? It just has a hook thingy at the end...

Apparently we can bring our stockings to use on our fish extenders!:thumbsup2

My thoughts EXACTLY!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ha broke the world record......

Cabin 6050 location is great. We have stayed in 6048 several times and it is the perfect location especially if you have children in the Lab (easy access) Congratulations on getting a great cabin location.:cool1:

Thanks for the location info -- I looked on the deck plan and it seems like a good spot -- although there can't be a bad spot on this cruise, I'm sure of it.

Thanks Diane, but I didn't get a tag. I just put in my own to try to fit in with all of you, but I took it off cause it seemed a little desperate and silly. I guess I was embarrassed. I am happy for all of you though!

Mary, all good things come to those who wait . . . your patience is going to lead to the best tags yet -- and soon, I believe. You fit in perfectly with or without tags, by the way.

Well I can't do the windows update thing that was linked to- the only choices are vista or XP! I'm still on ME on this computer, and I like it better than the XP we have on the other 2 computers and laptop! LOL

Ohwell, I hope it doesn't freak my computer out for some reason.

Thanks, guys! Despite "eviltwin or niwlive" and his sarcastic comments about whether getting tags can be as thrilling as Christmas, it is quite exciting!

Congrats Julie! You were the one that reminded yesterday that "not everyone" had a tag. Now look at you sporting a bunch! :thumbsup2
