So, on a 15 night cruise, will they pick 2 families? :confused3

What does it mean to be "Family of the week?" I don't know that I'd want to be picked as "Family of the Week" for the Maintenence Department, KWIM? Do they give that family a plunger or something as a souvenir?

That would make you Potty Queen.

My family was chosen as Hilda from GS's "Magic family of week" on our cruise over Halloween. She was awesome! She left things for the kids every day....I've already told them not to expect that this time around. But it was such a nice surprise!

That's so cool. :cool2:

Evening Great news on the ships hope the prices come down!

Said both Med cruise and West coast have sold above expectations and industry standards:-

Nice clean story for you all about (Tag) Fairies and a Warning

Couple in their mid forties happily married.
Husband one day meets a fairy.
She says she can grant two wishes.
He tells her his wishes and she says they will come true later.

Back with his wife the post comes
He opens the post and there are two tickets for the eastbound panama cruise.
Wife says, great! I herd they were very difficult to get, long phone calls, etc.
How did you get them?
He tells her about the fairy but says you will not like the second wish.
She asks why? Because I asked to go on the cruise with a lady half my age!

Suddenly he ages from 45 to 90!
Remember Fairies are Female and stick together!

No,no....I was just referring to the fact that Catholics do not eat meat from warm blooded animals on Ash Wednesday or Fridays during Lent.....So, it's odd that he would be in Hooters sporting his ashes if he is there eating a meat entree. We can have seafood on days of abstinence.

Got it. Not Catholic here, only pescatarian.

Yeah. Hopefully one for Mex/Alaska.

As big as these new ships are, I am wondering if they would even fit throught the Panama Canal? Makes me think that these will wind up in the Caribbean and remodeled Magic or Wonder will be out on the West coast for us.

I first heard about the governor's decision about the vacine down there on the View, then it was on the news tonight. I am thinking that I would have to file a protest & refuse to allow DD to have this vacine at this point even if it meant that she had to be home schooled. How is it actually being received down there?

If the shot was better tested i wouldn't have a problem with it.....

But do to the lack of testing....Sorry couldn't make my kid a guinea pig...

I'm still against the Chicken pox vaccine.... Luckily DD had them neturally two months before the vaccine was available.

They still don't have that one right.... Many kids are still getting it....and i mean full blown cases. i saw one a couple years ago. (He was a brother to one of the girls dd twirls with.)

The quote I like particularly re the Med cruises it confirms as we all know they are well subscribed.

New itineraries

Disney Cruise Line, which traditionally offers 3-, 4- and 7-night Caribbean cruises, has also enjoyed strong demand for new itineraries. Trips to the Mediterranean and to the West Coast have recently set booking records within the company and booked 30-50 percent faster than the existing itineraries at higher prices.

At Disneylnd Paris, one day we arrived early and queued up at the rope drop for adventureland before its 9am opening, just a short walk away from Big Thunder mountain our favorite ride.

We spoke to the French CM for a while everyone else was queueing up for Tommorrowland space mountain mission two.

Before the drop we were asked accross and we were asked our favorite ride Haunted manor or BTM we choose BTM.

A CM cam across from BTM took us to it via the back entrance, the rope came down but we were told not to worry.

We were made kingsand queens of BTM for the day, my kids and myself.

First seats on the first train, and first seats on any train any time all day through the back entrance, faster than fastpass, and a free photo off the mountain at the end.

We rode 11 times that day Didnt want to take TOO MUCH ADVANTAGE!

I've heard that DCL prefers to make money on the big suites too. Roy didn't even cruise in the Roy suite. :scared1:

Roy was on the last Repo came on at Acapulco, I sat next to him one night in Disney dreams show, I might be wrong, I thought he was in the Roy suite on that cruise.?.

The government recently calculated the cost of raising a child from birth to 18 to be $160,140 for a middle income family.
Talk about sticker shock! That doesn't even touch college tuition.

But $160,140 isn't so bad if you break it down. It translates into:

* $8,896.66 a year, or

* $741.38 a month, or

* $171.08 a week.

* That's a mere $24.24 a day!

* Just over a dollar an hour.

Still, you might think the best financial advice is "if you want to be 'rich', don't have children. Actually, it is just the opposite.

What do you get for your $160,140?
* Naming rights. First, middle, and last!
* Glimpses of God every day.
* Giggles under the covers every night.
* More love than your heart can hold.
* Butterfly kisses and Velcro hugs.
* Endless wonder over rocks, ants, clouds, and warm cookies.
* A hand to hold, usually covered with jelly or chocolate.
* A partner for blowing bubbles, flying kites
* Someone to laugh yourself silly with, no matter what the boss said or how your stocks performed that day

For $160,140, you never have to grow up.
You get to:
* finger-paint,
* carve pumpkins,
* play hide-and-seek,
* catch lightning bugs, and
* never stop believing in Santa Claus.

You have an excuse to:
* keep reading "The Adventures of Piglet and Pooh" ,
* watch Saturday morning cartoons,
* go to Disney movies,
* wish upon a star.

You also get to:
* frame rainbows, hearts, and flowers under refrigerator magnets,
* collect: spray painted noodle wreaths for Christmas,
* hand prints set in clay for Mother's Day,
* cards with backward letters for Father's Day.

For $160,140, there is no bigger bang for your buck.

You get to be a hero just for:
* retrieving a Frisbee off the garage roof,
* taking the training wheels off a bike,
* removing a splinter,
* filling a wading pool,
* coaxing a wad of gum out of bangs, and
* coaching a baseball team that never wins but always gets treated to ice cream regardless.

You get a front row seat to history to witness history:
* her first step,
* his first word,
* her first bra,
* his first date, and
* their first time behind the wheel.

You get to be immortal.
You get another branch added to your family tree, and if you're lucky, a long list of limbs called grandchildren and great grandchildren in your obituary

You get an education in psychology, nursing, criminal justice, communications, and human sexuality that no college can match.

In the eyes of a child, you rank right up there under God.
You have the power to:
* heal a boo-boo,
* scare away the monsters under the bed,
* patch a broken heart,
* police a slumber party,
* ground them forever, and
* love them without limits...so that one day they, like you, will love without counting the cost.

That is quite a deal for the price!

Love & enjoy your children & grandchildren! :love: :cloud9:

Like that, whats that in £'s?
