What photo imagaing program do you use? I just got a new digital camera, and would like an easy to use program (read, I'm technologically illiterate) for making door signs, etc.

I use MS Picture it Publishing silver edition 2001. It is really easy to use. My favorite thing to do is clone painting...you can erase an estra arm or leg that is in the shot that doesn't belong to someone who is suppose to be in your picture. You can't tell that it was done.

That's true! LOL! It was strange to hear that the DCL dining person knew that I had to update a website & such when I called her about room changes to the huge drop in price for a cat 12 on the 12/9 DD. It was crazy! She knew all about our group.

I am cheapskate as well but I look at it this way. You get a family shot for $20 that is way better than most local studios do. The closest reasonably priced one for us is a 50 minute drive to JCP. The sitting fee for the 4 of us is more than that not counting the picture AND we would need to change once we got there so that the more formal outfits wouldn't get wrinkled in the car. If it is windy that day...forget the hair because I will have to redo DD's & mine at the same time. Don't forget the other 2 1/2 - 3 hours it will take me to go back & pick it up. So you have to allow around 3 hours for the chance to spend 4 times as much on a family picture when you can just walk downstairs, stand in line, get it done, and pick it up the next day.

What's this about Jello shots? I haven't had them in ages. My friend's sister tried to make some and they wouldn't set up! In fact any jello she attemped to make would never set up.
