Please don't take offense, but this made me laugh so I just had to respond. DLH is already one of the expensive hotels in Anaheim. For comparison I checked the rates for August 2007 and they are as follows:
Disneyland Hotel $255/night
Paradise Pier 285/night
Grand Californian 380/nightWe visit Disneyland on average six times a year and always stay at an offsite hotel. Generally the Hyatt Regency or Crowne Plaza which are both about a mile and a half away from Disneyland's front entrance. Now in the interest of full disclosure DH usually gets the Hyatt Regency on Priceline for $59 and that just wouldn't be an option for anyone coming here a few days before the cruise, but even the Hyatt for the same August 2007 as above is only $140 per night, the Crowne Plaza which is directly next door is $130.00 per night. Both these hotels have their own free shuttle which operates every 30 minutes and takes you directly to the front entrance.

that crowne plaza sounds pretty good.
