8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 5

Please don't take offense, but this made me laugh so I just had to respond. DLH is already one of the expensive hotels in Anaheim. For comparison I checked the rates for August 2007 and they are as follows:

Disneyland Hotel $255/night​

Paradise Pier 285/night​

Grand Californian 380/night​

We visit Disneyland on average six times a year and always stay at an offsite hotel. Generally the Hyatt Regency or Crowne Plaza which are both about a mile and a half away from Disneyland's front entrance. Now in the interest of full disclosure DH usually gets the Hyatt Regency on Priceline for $59 and that just wouldn't be an option for anyone coming here a few days before the cruise, but even the Hyatt for the same August 2007 as above is only $140 per night, the Crowne Plaza which is directly next door is $130.00 per night. Both these hotels have their own free shuttle which operates every 30 minutes and takes you directly to the front entrance.

... I don't know if anyone else has noticed yet - but the DCL web site is listing catagory 9 as available to book. The price for 2 is $6500 and if you add 2 kids (in my case 4 and 7) it becomes ... let me take a 2nd glance... $9,569.96.

The only thing is I can't advance past the initial quote page to actually book it.

Just checked and I had a Cat 7 showing but now it's gone! I have to let my cousin know 'cause he may want to come along!

Just got back from the Doctor, and guess what? My DD (17) has the FLU and her temperature is 105.1! I thought the Nurse was gonna Poop A Brick! She said that's unnaturally high. I said don't worry, we actually seen DD's temp at 106.7, of course she was 6 at the time. Anyway, she pretty miserable today, she's taking Tamiflu and Bioxin and we are on FLU alert around here!

Not when it comes to dressier clothes. You can't find anything for <10 year olds. They seem to think all they do is run and play 24/7 (o.k., well maybe he does).

The boys departments in most stores are only about 1/4 of the men's department, and those usually aren't big.

I can find things for the <10 boys crew every store I go into, it's the 10> that we have a problem with. I'm going to have to do some major research to find dress clothes for DS for this cruise.

I said don't worry, we actually seen DD's temp at 106.7, of course she was 6 at the time. Anyway, she pretty miserable today, she's taking Tamiflu and Bioxin and we are on FLU alert around here!

You definitely need to do what you can to prevent yourself from getting sick--you know...like consuming alcohol to cleanse yourself of any germs.
