8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 4

The first time I tried to scrapbook I was so overwhemed (2000 or 2001). I absolutely hated it. I didn't want to cut and it was so hard trying to find what picture I wanted to use. Of course since it was a party I ordered some stuff. I gave it all to my sister for her Bday and Christmas. (you know you go to parties and feel that you have to spend $). But I did over the next couple of years at least I organized my pics. I took them all out of albums and put them in photo boxes.
We went to Hawaii in 04 and after that is when I did my first album. The bug got me! Since then I have been non stop. I even cut up my 11x13 pics I had made of Adam each month his first year to use in his book. BTW cutting around them is great for a 12x12 page.
I think I have it easier because we only have the DS and I am not having to try to make several so each child can split them up later. I just hope that my GK and GGK eventually enjoy them.

Here's my birthday cake picture from the Magic in January . . .

They did a great job. We shared that HUGE cake with our Brazilian neighbor's. It was a blast!

And then I'm going to talk my youngest into pulling his goatee pirate thingies when we go on the cruise. He can't do anything to her- one look in her sweet little princess eyes and that will be it. He will have to forgive her. Victory will be mine.

When we took my mom with us to WDW, Pete and Joe took her on the teacup ride - I think she thought they were just going to sit in the tea cup and not spin it, she should of had a clue that wasn't going to be the case when I didn't get on it. Pete and Joe had way different ideas - between the two of them, that tea cup was spinning so fast it was a blur. When she got off the ride she was green!

Is anyone as interested as I am in Catagena? One of the problems I have with this absolutely phenomenal cruise is there is not too much in the way of historical sites. Of course, my family is thrilled bcs I am always dragging them agaisnt their will to anything historical I can find - its kind of my hobby.

My mom was a HS history teacher. We always took historical family vacations. Lots of battle sites and cemetaries. We always joked that we saw more dead people on vacation than alive people. We enjoyed making fun of her - but now I always find historical sites to visit on our cross country trips. DH & I went 3 hours out of our way to visit Vicksburg simply because it was a Civil War site I hadn't been to yet.

Great to meet you neighbor DiaLady down Interstate 64.

The power outage was underground(Virginia Dominion Power always says that) When I called them, yes I did get thru they asked for my phone # to call me when the power went back on(wouldn't I notice when the lights and TV went back on?)

I am looking forward to Busch Gardens. That is where I get my walking in. I love the wave pool at Water Country.
My friends and I go every weekend when it is nice outside.

This afternoon I have set aside to watch both POC & POCII
So I can remember things about the movie.
