Cool idea about the visors! If we get a fair consensus that folks are interested, I'd be more than happy to start researching!

You can get an idea about the costs. The thing about most printing companies that we are running into is you aren't going to be able to use the designs that we will iron on the Tshirts because of copyright issues.

already "demanding"..she sorta been doing after being the princess of
the day...& making her brothers a lil' . she has the
attitudes down pat!!!

p.s...she just "pop"..in & said..she sure do..and she rules!

LOL! Yes of course...the first day & she has watched it many times. Warning to you though...the end of the movie has a preview for a new movie.

I would hate for anyone to feel this way just because we have a talkative crew. There are some who do want to have a quiet cruise and spend time with their family due to stress in daily lives or a medical battle that they have gone thru. That is fine. Everyone cruises for a different reason and has a different idea of what the "perfect cruise" is for them. I did have several people who had never even signed up with the group or post on our thread (currently at over 70K posts & still going) come up to me because they recognized me from pictures posted to tell me that they had seen the DIS group & everyone seemed to be so nice in person & having a great time so they would join up with the next cruise group instead of sitting back. There was a thread that popped up on the main board 2 weeks before the cruise that shocked us. It was basically...who else is going on this cruise but hasn't posted to that thread? I hope that doesn't happen this time.

I posted that because it's honestly how I would have felt if I decided not to join the group. By nature I'm more shy (or reserved, or introspective) and DH is not the joining type by any stretch of the imagination. I think if we had arrived onboard to see 500ish DISers living it up, we'd end up feeling left out....yet at the same time we were itching to get away from extended family when we cruised with them. So really, I think it's not something that you (or any of us) can do anything to prevent or fix. The best we can do is to include others who look like they may want to join. (I hope we wouldn't kick anyone off of Deck 7, but would offer them one of MR's smoothies, ya know?)

Oh...and in my case, I have a very extroverted DD. Even if I didn't try to make friends before the cruise, the odds are good that I'd meet most of y'all anyway simply because of DD.

We were on the Western last week and the CC reception was on Monday at 11 - I was mad because I had a massage scheduled that morning and didn't want to miss the reception since it was our first one - had to see what it was about. Free sodas, OJ and teas, mickey krispies and that was about it! They handed out a brochure with some questions and you could get them answered by mingling with other cruisers and CM's. We each got an entry to fill out to win a raffle prize, and we each got a free pen. They gave away 10 Clocks and then it was over (of course we didn't win) I didn't have to cancel my massage, but the whole time i was worried about what time it was

One other thing I HOPE they will change before we cruise again is SHUTTERS! I was so angry with the lady at Shutters by the end of the week that I just ended up cancelling my package and getting 2 pictures and paying dearly for them. I was so irritated with her - she always seemed to be there too. She was not working with me at all and I was being nice. I HATE all the pics that they take and put tacky borders on them - some are fine but I wish it was optional. The times I asked to have a photo changed or have the border deleted, she got pushy about us buying more than one package and adamant that if i continued to stack my photos that she would have move them and I would have to search all over again to find them. I am sorry but these photos aren't cheap. I wish DCL would do something similar to what they do in the parks so we don't have to suffer the wrath of even being in Shutters on the last day of the cruise - which is when most of the pics we had taken were up anyways. Half the cruiseship was in Shutters at 5pm on Friday - YIKES!! It would be nice to not have the hassle of searching (some photos all look the same and you are trying to find one out of 1,000). Okay I will get off my soap box now........thanks for reading!

It is amazing how many pictures get rejected by cruisers. So pictures should be garbaged but I could see where it would be hard to throw out some of those beautiful photos of children. Anyway, not a fun way to spend your last night on board and they ended up never finding most of their pictures.

One year my friends pictures the whole stack was "missing" we spent our last evening aboard in Shutters after they closed sitting on the floor going through all of the discarded pictures. It is amazing how many pictures get rejected by cruisers. So pictures should be garbaged but I could see where it would be hard to throw out some of those beautiful photos of children. Anyway, not a fun way to spend your last night on board and they ended up never finding most of their pictures.

How AWFUL.

Honestly, their whole system bothers me...but don't get me started on it.
