Thanks to all of the chatter. I checked our ressie on the DCL site and i have a cabin #.. YIPPIE!

Congrats!

Okay - I'm convinced that if you have a TA, DCL does not want to be bothered with contacting them with changes - so they make us constantly bug our TA's.

Yup! Like those HP lego sets that aren't available in the states anymore or the GBA games that Mom wont pay $30 for.

I have been spending too much time in front of my computer today. I was trying to figure out when Hewlett-Packard (HP) started making Lego sets and what they would be of -- Lego calculators?

I called the CC # (no TA involved) and the first CM said absolutely not and that there is no way anyone has moved from the wait list to main dining on this cruise. I hung up and called back, got a different CM who had it changed within a minute! Be persistent everyone :wizard:

Do they even have a plank on the Magic ?

If not I will make one ....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

But the bigger question is, where would be the best place for that?

I say Secret Deck 7 so we can make non DISers walk the plank to free up some seats. (or by the Mickey pool for "chair savers")

So, are most of you first dining? We got 2nd dining on our first cruise and didn't mind it at all. Twice, my DS did poop out, but on the other hand, we didn't have to get dressed early.

This time - we have learned. We are giving him Diet Coke...HAHA. He will be 12 - hopefully up later.

Off to run the Brownies meeting! I am doiung the caring/and sharing friends theme. Will be a tough crowd - there are some VICIOUS brownies out therE!

Welcome to the merry crew! :) You should be able to copy (control + C) and paste (control + V) directly to your signature.

There is no First Dining or Early Dining or Main Dining ...there is Captains Dining (main ) Then there is Late dining ...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I don't think you need to be paid in full to buy stateroom credits.

When I did them for our last cruise I called the phone number for DCL gifts (800) 601-8455 and had them charge my credit card for a certain amount as a stateroom credit. Then I could tell the agent what I wanted the gift card to read. They said things like "Happy Valentine's Day" and "Happy Anniversary". The amounts varied but in the end added up to a nice amount. It was hilarious to see the handfull of cards and to re-live the holidays onboard.

OH! As an added bonus--if I charged the stateroom credit on my Disney Visa, I also earned points on that purchase amount.

Thanks for the explaination. And the tip for Disney Visa. Does it count as no interest too? Since it's a payment to Disney Cruise?? Just trying for everything I can get. :cool1:

Thanks for the plug . . .LOL

Give yourself more credit. Remember you are trying to do someone else's assignments on someone else's schedule. If you can do you homework with your child, you can homeschool. Remember you know your child best :)

Homeschooling is much freeier than doing having to do someone else's preplanned activities in a classroom like setting.

Thanks for the encouragement. Unfortunately I don't have much patience when it comes to homework either. But we'll manage. Gotta do what you gotta do, right?

We had late in January and it worked well, but I think for 15 nights, DS's internal clock will adjust to the ship's time by the time the cruise is over. Plus, CA is 2 hours behind us, so "Captain's Seating" will probably be best for us.

good point! If I look past the warehouse across the street, I can see a good chunk of the Chugach Range.

My commute moose count this morning was 23!
My current commute: 30 minutes of this

My future commute: 120 minutes of this

Somebody shoot me now.

Sorry luv, fresh outta ammunition...how about a nice Prozac instead?

Besides, the 120 mintues could change if "W" is on the move!

I can not believe I am actually caught up again, I seem to keep refreshing the screen, just in case I miss anything.
:welcome: :welcome: to everyone that joined, since the last time I posted.
Lisa-I sent you an email earlier for my family to be added.

I am saving for this cruise by NOT going to Target (except to get cat litter for our small zoo).

LOL! I am doing my Christmas & bday shopping for the year right now. I am just about done. That is how I will save money later in the year. :thumbsup2
