Solutions...

... open a 2nd DIS account and duplicate/split every posting between the two identities! <sic> Now you have capacity for 6 images and 100K of siggy!

...or... (2nd) combine the banners onto one smaller image and post a link to order magnifying glasses for those who care to examine the details of a compressed and barely legible banner.... <chuckles>

OK... do YOU have any better ideas???

Morning everyone. Had to resort to reading the summaries this morning Just KNEW I should have checked the board before going to bed last night ... but then I probably wouldn't have gone to bed

I hope that those stuck in this cold can keep warm today. Maybe we should keep a list of these low temps and dates so that we can pull that out on the cruise if anyone complains about being too hot

It's cold here in NY, 15* and I don't know what with the wind chill. I've got the little space heater cranked up in my office, pretending I'm in Mexico right now (not working very well).

My DH made me laugh last night ... he asked what dinner rotation we had. I told him late, and he started to get squirrly about it. After a brief discussion he shared that he doesn't mind late seating, but he eats WAY too many chicken fingers with the kids when he knows dinner isn't until 8:00

Well... it's pretty much a given there will be all sorts of extra-curricular DIS diversions on this voyage! I'll bring some Pina Colada and Peach mixes for the blenders!!!!

Okay, I know this isn't a recipe thread, but I also know a lot of people are trying to slim down before the cruise....so I thought I'd share this. It is a recipe for Taco Soup....it's very low in fat, very high in fiber and protein (not low in sodium....but that it not a concern for me)....and really yummy! I think it is a weight watcher's recipe....and only has like 1 point per cup...

1 lb. LEAN (97% fat free) ground turkey, browned
1 large can tomato juice or V8
1 can corn
1 can mild chili beans
2 cans pinto beans
2 cans diced tomatoes w/chilies
1 envelope mild taco seasoning
1 envelope ranch dressing mix

After turkey is browned, dump in all other ingredients....heat and let simmer for 30-45 min. I just dumped all of the ingredients into my crock pot and I'll let it simmer all day. Also--I was brought up on sweet tomoato sauces, so I season mine with a little Splenda and garlic salt to taste.

Everyone that has tried it has been surprised how much they like it. I thought at first the corn would not taste right in it....but it does. And it has lots of veggies in every serving. Hope someone tries it!

Things are totally different on the meets threads. Here we can chat, joke, and plan while getting to know each other before the cruise. Mark & Mary are not going on this cruise. I think they are doing an Eastern in April?

Don't worry, I'll let you guys know if you need to tone things down.

SSSSHHHHHH! I am in denial about how stinkin' hot it is going to be on the cruise. (I also doubt you'll see me complain about cold).
