We were all together along the right wall in L & AP but in PC one station was away from the group.

No, I meant on the cruise *I* was on we were supposed to be linked up but for some reason DCL didn't link MY family up and we were clear across the room (first night AP) next to a table of strangers that also booked with allseas- and somehow we got linked with them solely for that reason. We dealt with this during that dinner (I must say we had poor service from our waitstaff there before we even figured out we weren't near DIS'ers- we thought they were DIS'ers we just didn't know well from the thread for half the meal! Until I got the nerve up to get their attention and ask them who they were. Then turned red when I realized they weren't DIS'ers), missed the show, skipped dessert because all combined was upsetting, and ended up getting seated "near" the rest of the groups the rest of the cruise but were off in a corner at a table by ourselves- at times they even put curtains up between us and the DIS'ers!
So that's what I mean by I hope this time DCL really links us and we aren't lost in the shuffle (by them) again. We did transfer our onboard booking to Allseas again- so I hope that doesn't interfere again. Still no clue why they put us down as linked to strangers that also booked with allseas...

DS & DD will both be in the 8-9 yo group on this cruise. DD will turn 9 on 9/4 and DS will turn 11 on 11/14 after the cruise.

So your son will be 10 but in the 8-9 group?
I ask because wow, your son turns 11 so close to mine! My son turns 11 on 11/11 after the cruise. That's pretty darn close woman! My daughter will be 8. I didn't know I could put my son in the 8-9 age group but if so, that would be great because he likes the type of stuff they did on the last cruise and he's not exactly MATURE (especially in social situations... with peers... he's a bright boy but well, let's just say he's being tested for Aspergers right now m'kay? It's a long story) He'd probably do better in the younger group but I didn't think that was an option. Is it?

Sorry T-**** is a running joke from our last cruise 12/9. Caroline was talking about her shirts one night & it showed up that way. She couldn't figure out what she had typed out.
