I'm trying to type fast before the boards go wacky again.

Hey pirates - I have Diane's phone number. Does any one want to take turns calling her during the Patriots game tonight?????

By the way, the board is really going slow for me today. Every thing else is zipping along but it took 4 min to open up this window.Anyone else notice it?
Man, what is going on, did the DIS go back to their old server again. I've been on since I got home a little while ago and it has been taking forever for the pages to load.
We had a very nice time, and we also brought home tons of food and sweets, not like we need anymore sweets in the house, oh my............![]()
Congrats to any Pats fans out there, 16-0 for the regular season.
Good Night All...........![]()
I was going to post our picture so people would know what we looked like but I dare not after what happened last time. Just think tall, thin and beautiful -NOT!!![]()
I swear I did not mean to.....![]()
There's some great looking Tiaras there.
I actually got mine from Claires. I didn't want to spend a lot on it since I planned on taking it on every Disney trip with me. I'm very happy with it.

Tom, I sure didn't know that about you. What a great way to volunteer your time. I can only imagine the horrific things that firemen, police and EMS witness. All of them are special people in my book.
Fellows
Sometimes life just sidetracks best laid plans. I wanted to come on last night and chat with y'all, catch up on e-mail, generally harass y'all, etc., but ended up going out and playing fireman. Did I mention I have been a volunteer for 25 years this February? (Crash maybe one of the upcoming 7 questions should be "Tell us something about you we don't know).
Last night was bad, one or worst in years. Fatal accident time 5. I got to sit in station and guide the cover companies, but still was a long call. When it was over, the son of a former chief and friend of mine started repeatedly saying he couldn't get it out of his mind and didn't think he was going to be able to sleep. I talked to him for a while then took him out to a quiet bar, bought him a beer and talked one on one for a few hours....I think he is doing better.
Thank you for those who e-mailed to tell me where chat was being held. I did get on about 1:30 eastern (on Piratezone, DIS was kerflunked at that point) but it was just Arlene and Esteri left. Guess all the east coasters (other than Arlene) were calling it an early night.
Nice to see the boards up and running (dare I say fast?)
Have a happy Saturday.
Well.....
... I may be coming into this a little late (just 2 days after the fact) but Diane, I thought you'd find this "sheet dress" entertaining as consideration for those wise cracks from your DH. After 24 years of happy shopping with my spouse (as some may recall - I keep her company shopping, carrying bags, rendering opinions on things she tries - and yeah, a few might even quip I've been well trained - while others who know me better would quip I am actually totally untrainable) .... as I wuz saying... after 24 years with my spouse I know better then to say anything like what you received. I just render numerical scores generally from 6 up through 12 on a 1 to 10 scale.
At any rate, here is the image with the original caption below it...

Linen sheet dress by Wunderkind, $2,804 at Saks Fifth Avenue; white metallic-washed goatskin Nimble flats by Jimmy Choo, $430. Photographed at Schiller's Liquor Bar.
Personally, I've only shopped extensively at Off 5th.. Saks' factory outlet. And even then I rarely find things of interest to - except tuxedoes and some nice - slightly unusual shirts.

So you are the one that broke it.![]()

I think they went back to the really old server!
Congrats to the Pats - way to go - and now on to the SuperBowl!
I found some on the Oriental Trading Company website for under $20 as well.
Yes, Crew, we have SAMPLES!!!
I stopped by our printer yesterday to play with the new equipment he purchased. It's awesome. Naturally, I forgot the cameraso you'll just have to read my description.
The shirts are made with a transfer material. It's like a light vinyl - but doesn't add much stiffness to the shirt. They ran a test shirt when they first got the machines - it's been washed about 10 times now (transfer on the outside), with no fading or damage. So, it seems to be sturdy stuff.
Here's a picture of the white t-shirt, just fabric, not transfer - so you can see how it drapes.

Here's my hand in the same position holding the shirt where the transfer is. You can see how flexible it is.

The image is printed onto the transfer material at up to 500 dpi - that's photo quality - the machine that prints it, also cuts the material. The excess transfer material is peeled from the backing (by hand). The transfer is then moved to somthing like a giant piece of tape using a squegee, and peeling off the backing. The tape is placed on the shirt and put into a hot press. Then the tape is removed, and the transfer is on the shirt.
Here's a close up of the back. [edited to conserve thread space - click link above to see the whole thing].
Right now they are showing us in Aruba from very early to very late . . . so I thought I'd book the earlier one to give more snorkeling time . . . plus as I mentioned to Monica, finishing up at 2 gives us plenty of time to do something else too.
