Hi folks
DS is improving. He's got a killer headache and gets naseous if he moves around too much. The headache is managed by tylenol, so it's not too painful. He just starts getting cranky when its time for a new dose. All his neurological tests are fine though.
They are concerned about the cracked bones causing fluid to leak. Hasn't happened so far, but they are keeping a close eye on him. Also, the fracture is very near his ear and they can see some bruising inside the ear. They are going to test in the next few days to see if he suffered any additional hearing loss. Good thing is we just had a follow up hearing test last week, so they have up to date results to compare too.
He's sleeping most of the time. Eating a little. And walked around his room today. Still another day or 2 in the hospital at least.
We are in a cat 6 and a cat 11, linked ressies with a request to be near each other. The cat 6 is still GTY, but they assigned the cat 11 to a cabin on deck 7. There are no cat 6's on deck 7, so I'm thinking that they won't be too close to each other. We actually switched with a friend who is also linked with us and had a cat 11 on deck 6. So now there's a chance at least that they'll be close together. If not, I apologize in advance to anyone who sees me wandering the halls in my boxers. The strange part is.....our DMIL had a connecting room request linked to our rezzie. DCL assigned our room and broke the connecting room request....DMIL is still GTY - wierd.

Thanks for thinking of me, guys. Since switching chemo meds last Tuesday I am doing *much* better. The nasuea and headaches that were keeping me on the couch for days at a time are all but gone. There are different side effects with this one but they are much easier to take. I am past the half way point with the chemo![]()

It was great, Thanks. I am so glad I did not cancel. I got to meet Susan, and I flew back late Monday where it reached 82 degrees in FL and it was 17 degrees when I landed in Boston!! I want to go back.
I have to share one of the most fun days I have ever had in the Magic Kingdom with MouseFest...
We had a picture savenger hunt - We were Team JellyRolls. An example of some of the pictures with STRANGERS we had to collect......
Do the Dosie-Do with strangers outside Country Bear Jamb
Pretend to be getting ill outside the Teacups
Spell M-I-C-K-E-Y with your bodies
There was a ton of other stuff, but you get the idea. Everything had points assigned. We lost (by more than 100 pts.), but we had sooo much fun!!!!

Hi everyone
I haven't really posted much on this thread but wanted to say hi to all.
We will be on the cruise with you
Me, DH, DD13, DS11
Can anyone fill me in on any fun activities planned. Hard to read through 5400 pages
I actually have a lot of people booked on this cruise and some of them post here. Looking forward to meeting you all. (Hi Bellelinus)
Well, you had a better reason than us. We got married for the car insurance.
Shortly before Christmas 1990, we were involved in an auto accident that totalled my then-fiancee's car. (We had been engaged for about six months and planning to be married in October 1991 after I finished college). We decided to buy a new car together, which we did, but then found out no one would give us car insurance together because we were not married. We got our blood tests, went to the courthouse and were married and bought the car two days later.
We later moved our real wedding to December to be closer to Christmas. No one knew except our minister and we've always celebrated the December date. We had to keep it a secret primarily for SWMBO's family, mainly her Catholic grandmother, who also did not know we were living together. (Janie's dad had no problem with this -- he was happy that her rent was cut in half because she was living with someone...)
Sorry im not that computer savy , Savvy !!! LOL Maybe if I had a MAC ..LOL (something I have wanted for a long time and I think I may actually get my wish for Christmas ...the nice 24 inch one ..) but if that happens then we would might have to convert My Sweet Melissa's over to a MacBook Pro so we can carry our mac with us ...Man I love Mac ....Hopefully I can get off this dreaded PC ...LOL

OH I would so bring that up every time someone launches into the standard spouse OpSec speech!
*OpSec = Operational Security - don't tell anyone where he's going, when he's leaving, when he's coming back, loose lips sink ships and whatnot.

Someone needs to start a deck map of DIS'ers, and see how big a block of rooms we can string together.
The strange part is.....our DMIL had a connecting room request linked to our rezzie. DCL assigned our room and broke the connecting room request....DMIL is still GTY - wierd.
