You're not foolin' me Andy...

I suspect you're in League with Cheryl and Julie.

As a result I'm keepin' a weary eye on ya' all...

:lmao:

< wink >

I'm not in the Eastern Caribbean right now -- I swear! I'm in Manhattan!

My understanding is that there are a lot more earthquakes near Crash than near me . . .

(Not that I'm not devious . . . just pretty powerless when it comes to earthquakes . . .)

Julie's diabolical powers and influence are FAR REACHING! Seee.... she's in Manhatten and influencing the tectonic plates in the Carribean! Ooooo..... :rotfl:

OK... maybe my imagination is waxing itself off the deep end...

Believe it or not, we get little ones occasionally in NYC and there is a fault line under Manhattan . . . a few months after 9/11 there was one big enough to wake me up. But it was subtle -- I honestly thought there had been another attack rather than feeling as if it was an earthquake. It was nothing compared to the big ones they get other places, though. I wonder if there are any fault lines under Virginia? I know there's a big one in the midwest -- Missouri or something.

I didn't realize that there were earthquakes in the Caribbean, either, but when you think about it there are volcanoes (Montserrat, for example), and they are all related to the same underlying issues with the earth's crust, so it makes sense . . .

The year we moved to Fl 1986, I was sleeping and was awakened by the house rumbling. It felt like a big tractor shaking the ground. Yup, it was a quake.Oh, we were on Long Island at the time, and I think it was early this year, we had a small vibration. Noticed the drink on my desk moving like in Jurassic Park. Thought it was the air handlers coming on but it was a small one as well. The scariest was on New Years Eve mid 80's. we were dropping the kids off at Grandmas and she lived on the 27th floor overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge. There was a loud noise and the building actually felt like someone was trying to move it over a bit  My Mom and her friend said it was going on for the last 30 min or so and were so unaffected it upset me a bit and didn't want to get in the elevator ( I was the last one out of ours during the blackout of 66(?). Turned out some group was bombing the court house a few blocks away. As soon as we got down to the street, it was covered with trucks and police sirens. Boy were we glad to get home that night.

Liz, your house looks so Cheery:goodvibes We never do anything. Keep talking about it but he's not getting on the ladder and that would leave me?Don't think so. We have some really super decorated homes here. In fact Santa is coming on Sunday to the park for the Winter Festival. They bring him on the Firetruck so you can hear him coming for ever:lmao: If DS gets my computer to recognize my camera again, I will try to post some.Don't tell him but I think he deleted it by accident the last time he was here installing something.

I really need to get some sleep. Have an eye exam tomorrow. Yuck. I hate the dilation . That light hurts!!!!!

Lets see now, we have Tom (Crash) attracting earthquakes and Tom (Tom31b) who has an affinity for hurricanes. :rolleyes1 Maybe we should get the two of them a dingy so we can send them away from the Magic if their attractive powers start bringing us any of these natural phenomenons.

I hear they have him in surfer clothes or something at DCA . . . one of our SoCal friends could probably even post a picture.

Darn Monica bet me to this one. I had to pirate one from someone else. Don't feel like looking through some 2000 pictures to find mine. I will try to get one with Surfin Santa in a couple of weeks when we are there.

OK... I nodded off early and got up - kind of in passonate need of a latenite snack. Alicia brought home some take out from Ruth Chris for me.... yum!

And Cheryl... I am NOT paranoid. Just guilty of being a bit silly (obviously). Oh no.... does this mean I'm NOT all that Innocent anymore?

Lots out early next week, some ''big' announcement.

No news from Doctors for a while.:thumbsup2

Andrew, Andrew, Andrew....

ya neglected to consult ME!

My findings say you are just fine.... considering....

Now that will be a nickle... or 5 pence since the exchange is better!

Seriously, you'll be fine NO MATTER WHAT the real Docs say. Just do what ya gotta do - and be happy!

Oh Noooo!

Please don't send us AWAY from the Magic!

We can REPEL what otherwise is NATURAL PHENOMENON too!

And before you single us out - you should take a 2nd glance Julies' way!

Cheryl may be OK... as with her it's maybe just "the Force" we're dealing with...

but Julie... Shes' a bit closer to that Carribean Earthquake then I was.

Oh, yes. I hope everyone has a great Friday.:goodvibes :goodvibes I am really gonna try to make it to chat tonight. :)

Good Morning America said that KY ranks #48 as being one of the most depressed states. That's depressing.

I have a typo that puts Crash's PLAM TREE to shame. The receptionist at my office (who reports to me) sent me an email that said we were out of "bowels" in the kitchen. :confused3 At least I hope it was a typo!! Crash don't even try to come up with a graphic for that one.:rotfl2: Or you most certainly will be edited.

Julie...

... please don't tell me you're gonna be there starting the 1st of january. That's cuz I'm planning on being there from the 1st through the 3rd or 4th. We have cousins coming in from hawaii and we were thinking of hangin' out with them then.

Gulp... now if you're gonna be there I'll have to be EXTRA careful ta watch my back. Especially if we have a mini-meet. :lmao:

We fly in on Dec. 28 and then fly to Vegas the afternoon of Jan. 2 . . . so there is some overlap . . .

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Not exactly surfer clothes. I think he'd be better in red shorts rather than the regular pants. But it is weird to see him playing in the sand rather than snow.

Here's an article with a few more pictures. http://www.mickeynews.com/News/DisplayPressRelease.asp_Q_id_E_1114Blast

Native Californian here. Yep, felt tons of them. From the barely noticeable to the rocking and rolling ones. Doesn't even phase me anymore.

At least you can WATCH the game. My son is really upset that we don't have the NFL Network. So he's decided to play his Madden game on Gamecube. Trying to sort of simulate the game.
