Oh he's looking into historical pirates and their clothing. He was so impressed by Todd's costume he was inspired. I thought he should just stick w/POC stuff. But ...he's getting carried away!! My costume is so plain - if does go too nuts I might just have to check into wench's garb also!!

Haven't quite gotten Kevin used to the idea of this yet...I'll work on him though.

I worked for the SF Opera for a while. I guess I'll have to go re-read Crash's picture tutorial, since I have a hard time posting pics.

Historical costuming was my major in college: I made 10 evening gowns from 1850 to 1940 - one for each decade.

The golden age of pirates is the 1750's, so he can start there & work his way towards fantasy (which most of POC is)
