Good Lord, I wasn't trying to insult anyone. If you, or anyone felt insulted by my comment, I'm certainly sorry.

I was just trying to convey a frustration of not being able to follow any threads because I don't get a chance to come on often and there are sooooo many posts that it's very hard to keep up.

Hey Mike - aboard - you'll have to excuse us as we are very protective of each other. With that being said - I share your frustration with DCL - seems their story changes or changes but still says the same thing. "We're sorry but......"

Anyway, hope our protectiveness of each other doesn't turn you off - I'm sure once we're on board with the large number of DISsers there - they will be nice to us and get their stories straight. We can hope anyway right.

Also, we just became DVC members and so I'm sure I will be sharing some of your frustrations even further once I start using my points.

Once again - back please feel free to glance in every once in a while - we have calmed down some since the thread started and only once in a while go

Hi Everyone! I'm back from the fundraiser and a great time was had by all! It was a large turnout at our niece's house (about 100 I think). So, we didn't get to visit too much, but we did get to see our nephew (really our great nephew, but that makes me feel too old) and he is looking GOOD! He is thin, as one might imagine after the 10 months of chemo and hospital living he's been through, but all and all he looks really GOOD! It did our hearts good to see them, as a family, doing just the very ordinary, after the year they've just been through. Thanks for all your kind words too!

It's funny when you come from a large family. My DH John is the 9th of 10 children and he is the seventh (and baby) brother YIKES! Be afraid, be very, very afraid Anyway, this our great nephew is John's Brother's Daughter's Son, and he is older than our own son! Like I said, hard to keep up in a large family too!

ding,ding,ding you are correct... I was a hort major in HS and then got a degree in landscape architecture...Thus the flower....

We spent over 3 hours at the Pet ER with JoJo the DISDog. After all that time with over $500 in xrays and tests we are fairly certain that he is getting old. It appears to have been just a bad day for him.

for Jojo. It's so hard when they got older.

I am an Ordained Minister in The Salvation Army. Ministers in this Army are also Commisioned as Officers.

My current assignment is what we call headquarters where we oversee all the units in Maryland and West Virginia. My particular assignment is in finance (CFO). Most weekends our headquarters staff visit the units for Sunday services either to just visit or participate.

Brack - for some reason - I am not surprised! whenever I saw your avator - I thought - reminds me of a minister. So see - maybe I am psychic after all. Maybe that's why my kids hate me?

Between dh and our children (5! ages 27, 23, 16, 9 & 5) I'm never in a photo because they all LOVE to get their picture taken! The camera comes out and they are all smiles!

Stephanie (correct me if I'm wrong) no offense but you already have 2 strikes against you in my book: 1) your pretty and 2) your prettier - don't add Strike number 3 and 4! 3 being that of looking younger than your years and 4 having a photo loving family!

JUST KIDDING! I'm just jealous - we love you faults and all!

I'm sorry that I missed chat last night it sounds interesting ...... as usual.

We spent over 3 hours at the Pet ER with JoJo the DISDog. After all that time with over $500 in xrays and tests we are fairly certain that he is getting old. It appears to have been just a bad day for him.

He gets bed rest, no stair climbing and rice with chicken to eat (which he loves!)

I left him at home with my DW to look after him.

for JoJo the DISDog and to you too Brack I hope he's better soon. How old is he Brack?? I know he's your great pal!
