Hey Judy, glad to see you! Don't you think these 2 are a case of the pot calling the kettle black!

All ketchuped up! Well the big news her is that dd has made her professional debut as an actor in a film short! A teacher's aide has friends from Chicago who are film makers. Last spring they filmed at dd's school and dd got to be an extra! The short is called, "The Planning Lady" and is about a grade school guidance counselor. It was cute. DD is in a part where the kids are waiting to see the counselor and she is dressed up as a sailor. She wants to move to Hollywood and be a start now. Maybe I should take her for some headshots! Last summer she was also in an instructional folk dancing video.

IC was the first beer I ever drank and therefore there is a special soft spot in my stomach for it. And you may want to be careful. You don't want to see a gang of Pittsburgh steelworkers at your doorstep.

Yeah especially since she doesn't have a doorstep yet!!!! Is that what they call them .......not a gaggle of steelworkers?

If that beer did that to my stomach ....I don't think I would drink it again......soft spots are horrible.

I think the steelworkers would punch you for even uttering the word "gaggle".

hmmmmmm Alaskan Mountain Mamma who trains midget operatives vs. Pburgh steelworkers.... I dunno, I think Vegas would lay 50/50 odds on that one!

I've never been a beer fan, but loved the jok from Monty Python's performance at the Hollywood Bowl:

Just turned on the local news and the weather down at Virginia Beach is getting hit with severe thunderstorms and hail. Some people have sighted some funnel clouds. The storm is heading up the eastern shore. There are storm cells out in central VA by Richmond and head east. To our fellow diser down in Va beach be safe! Right here in Williamsburg it is sunny, very humid and the dog won't come in the house. She likes to lay on the deck. Obviously she is not perimenopasal like her nanny (me) I am in the house and the AC is on 65 and the ceiling fans are going.!

MaryRose -I know this is old but last week I went up to NY to spend time with my sisters Doreen and Elaine, my mom and of course my neice Jaclyn. We did our first annual girls day by getting a mani, pedi, waxing and massage! And of course after all this lunch! We had a great time and next month when I go up for Elaine's sons college graduation we are going to do it again. We all had a blast, laughing crying(where were my depends when I needed them!!!)

We had so much fun.

Okay what is it with the movies that are On Demand. My DD is watching Sixteen Candles. It is rated PG on the listing but it is absolutely not PG. I think the older movies all get PG ratings. Good thing she is past the PG-13 stage but geez.
