There is only two people on this thread that I knew would get that ...opps sorry , Mr . Gibbs would know too ...LOL

I did it on purpose over here just cause I was excited ...LOL

pirate:

If Caroline ever catches up she will know too. :rotfl:

Here is the link for the photo album I started for this trip in my Webshots account. It took over an hour to get these photos loaded using dial-up.........

http://family.webshots.com/album/558487676lfpIEV[/b]

My "ST" took all the photos of the palm trees while she was sun bathing.............:)

I'll be adding photos, from the WDW mini-meet to this account, either over the weekend, or early next week.

That looks like a great spot to relax.

Someone asked me so I counted it up - I was in RI for exactly three hours longer than it took me to travel there (36 hours to 33 hours). I forgot about your dictation job, so typing practice makes a bit more sense!

The value of those hours far outweighs time spent elsewhere. :grouphug:

Good Morning America (or one of those things in the morning) did a feature on Atkins and other popular diets a few years ago. One of the nutritionists pointed out that all Atkins really does is teach portion control. They showed an oversized burger with fries, etc. etc. from some chain and pointed out that if you were on Atkins, you subbed something for the fries which was a smaller portion then took the oversized roll and threw it away cutting the burger portion in 1/2.

Just an interesting take....

Which would mean that I wouldn't be eating out much since over half of the food would be thrown away.

I thought that was what Friday night chat was all about? :rotfl:
I guess you can't use abbreviations, smilies or txt language in transcription tho.... :rotfl2:

No somehow I don't think that I would be working there very long if I did that. ;)

:wave2: Stace -

I had the same problems many years in a row until I wised up - I was switching eye docs and so never made the connections - thought it was me - turns out everytime I got a new pair -I would have little mishaps with the car or me - headaches, hitting curbs, slamming the brakes too hard - turns out I'm especially sensitive to polycarbonate lenses, some UV filters, colors, etc. Once I hit on a pair that didn't give me a headache I found out what they were made of - now I have to ask cuz most places will automatically give you polycarbonate lenses to cut down on expenses. Don't know about you but if your prescription hasn't changed I'm of the opinion the glasses shouldn't give you headaches - if it has changed - don't mind me - I've been gone a few days trying to finish up my ressies for the Med cruise coming up.

Anyway, as a fellow eye sufferer there's almost nothing worse than a headache from getting used to new glasses - and there's really nothing you can do until you do get used to them - one doc made me wait 2 weeks before he conceded and went back to my old prescription - I always test stronger but can never get used to them - consequently I've had the same strength for about 20 years. Some docs just can't believe you when you say something's wrong! Hope you feel better soon!

That does make sense, and yes, they are the polycarbonate lenses. And I have really sensitive eyes....even the glare in a grocery store bothers me.
Hmmm....something to definitely check with the doctor on. Thanks!

This is my reaction after jumping into the water that was 72* at De Leon Springs.......................:rotfl2:

One of mine too...I've been known to start quoting from it when the mood strikes.

Picture being out somewhere in public, and someone tells you to "come this way"....I love embarrassing the ST's by hunching over and saying "Walk this way"! :lmao:

Good Morning Everyone! Hope everyone has a great day. We have flood warnings here, expecting severe thunder storms later. Hope they aren't too bad.

OMG! That is my older half sister to a tee. Bulling isn't attractive at any age. Where did all these mean girls come from? DD has a couple at school.

After raising two girls, one now 25, and the other almost 17.....I noticed a pattern. For one thing, it only gets worse the older the girls get. High school can be a killer. Jordan called me the other day to come get her because some "mean girls" had been nasty to her. I didn't go get her, because she needed to let them think that they didn't get to her, so I told her to wipe her tears, hold her head high...and ignore them.

Anyway....this may not always be true, but one thing I noticed is that the girls who can be really nasty almost always seem to have older sisters. These girls end up wearing makeup earlier, listening to inappropriate music earlier, and just seem to be downright nastier. I think they maybe have been picked on by the older sister. My two were too far apart in age for that to happen here, and I wouldn't have stood for it anyway. And there's not really a solution for it that will help our daughters....just that it seems to be an interesting pattern.

So do we need a letter to DCL that xx night of the cruise the main course will be S*#& on a Shingle?

I make it at home, served over biscuits. My family would love it if DCL served it. As long as it tasted as good as mine!

Seems to come back to parenting (and the fact that our entertainment industry has gone to H*#$ in a handbasket! - TG for Disney!)

I think the problem is some of the kids parents never learned this.....

Just recently my kids were participating in an afterschool basketball tournament (4th and 5th grades) that the gym teachers, on their own time, put together. My DS and a few of his friends, none of whom had played basketball before, were getting creamed by the other team (20 pts or so with 3 minutes to go). The gym teacher tells the team that's ahead that they need to pass twice before shooting and two of the parents quite loudly start discussing how "unfair" that is and that its "bulls*#@, etc. When the game was over, they told their kids how wrong the teacher was and what *#&$ it was! I give the gym teachers all the credit in the world for ignoring it, but these kids parents just don't get it. Thank god the game only had 3 minutes left or who knows what else these clueless parents would have done. BTW, my DS and friends were fine with getting creamed, they understood that they had never played before and were just there to have fun... that kid!!

Totally unbelievable, isn't it? We see it all the time. I could almost halfway understand if their team were losing....by why put up such a stink if you're winning? And just look at what they are teaching their children. :confused3
Like the guy and his teen son who cut in line for the Monorail, trying to get to ride in the front. We were already there, and had been there since the last train pulled out. I stood my ground and he and his son went back into line. And I bet the dad was calling me all sorts of names in front of his kid. Lovely thing to teach your children. I feel sorry for those kids, with parents like that.

POST

(That's 120 Pirates till post - or is it 120 posts till Pirate? )

(just found out you can only post 25 pirates at a time!)

Ok, ok, its fluff

Anyone up for a run?

just m.,...you're a riot...i don't why,but it was easy to imagined
you doing that.."walk this way".

wowsers, sk8..knows music! i think putting on the ritz was redone
during the late 70's too. kinda funny, how some trends repeat ?
* however, i wasn't to surprised just m. ,you knew the lyrics..

while it isn't funny...hearing those cross referencing bullies to those
they married..for a sec. i thought the topic was heading over
to tom cruise 's house, :rolleyes1 . * i do think he is a good actor
but some of his people skills..."rusty"?

well micme2003...this may sound off beat, but you remind me a-l-o-t
of my lil 'miss..there's an underlying elegance in your presentations...
let me share...she has a style that is better than most "professionals".
on our last cruise, she really out did herself and the outfits she
had jordan in...lady  with pixiedust: spilling out with every step.
here's a lil' footnote....you know how they do the interviews..prior
to the golden mickeys? the lady preforming ms. rivers ...told her she
"loved" her dress...& whispering "that ain't no act"! wanta know what
my wife said?..."i like yours too!".....i see the same type of pattern in
the things you say.

speaking of, i as inside taking movies of the big screen when this
"wild man" came on...better known as cpt. crash...he was a natural.
however, we had major technical diffculties....with both our dvd
& regular vhs-c camera...:confused3 . we "lost" all of the muppets,
the welcoming aboard, hercules, the art of the story, and most of
all, the susan egan 's show...[ she spent alot of time talking with jodan]
& our water safari @ antigua. ...the tracking was out of syn...
that crazy "ena" & his girlfriend were on the same ride..wow, he
acted "normal'...:lmao: . i was esp. tick about the dvd, as that was
a brand new camera...the thingy with cpt. crash ..isn't good quality,
but he sure was funny! andwouldn't you know it, when ean screamed
right into my camera..that came out! :rolleyes1

I am back and forth a bit as the MED threads are very active tonight, lots going on, shore trips getting sold out very very fast.
