For those playing ketchup, during this weeks chat, a new alternative to the space age anti-bathroom solution (diapers) was discussed. It was suggested that y'all should check it out.

Hello. I am new here. this is my first post. Only 999 more to go on this thread before I hit the 1000 mark (I'm close...I can almost taste it)....

I hear I'm going on this cruise....forget when it is again...I'm sure DW will tell me. :confused3

I like cake. That's all I have to say about that. :rolleyes1

:welcome: :welcome:

Well....

... I've been away from the thread for some time as some of you may recall my computer has been out for repairs with a friend - and remains out. I am using my spouses' notebook now and she's been away from home a bit so I've not had a chance to check in. So.... as my first exercise I'm gonna post the current hit total is 473,033 and the individual tallies are as follows:

Hi Tom! We have been missing you:) That is awful you don't have your computer back yet! Hopefully soon:)

If this was posted already, forgive me . I have to ketchup Sunday. This was in the Passporter News Letter Sounds Like a great Idea!!!!

Our readers report that Disney Cruise Line is testing new post-cruise airline check-in and baggage handling procedures in Port Canaveral. Guests returning from recent voyages report that if they were flying after noon on participating airlines, they could have their airline boarding passes prepared on board and delivered to their staterooms, and that after their luggage was collected on board the ship they didn’t see it again until their flight was over. Previously, passengers had to claim their luggage in the cruise line terminal and deliver it to an airline check-in station in the bus loading area. When asked for confirmation of these reports, a Disney Cruise Line spokesperson emphasized that this is a test. All aspects of the program are subject to change, and the program may not continue beyond the test period. Additional information was not available

Oh Cheryl if they are doing this next week I will let you all know. that would be great. Sometimes it takes a bit to locate your luggage in the terminal.:)

And before I turn in for the evening...

Here is the latest installment of

7 Literary questions

book.gif

1) What was the last thing you read which was longer then 2 paragraphs?

2) Do you have any favorite catagories of reading

3) What did you bring to read on your last trip? C'mon - fess up - name it all if ya dare!

4) Any word games you like to engage in? What are they?

5) DO YOU REMEMER what sort of GRADES you got in your english or literary classes? What were the classes and your grades??? What-ever you can recall

6) Who reads more - you or your spouse?

7) What is the next book (or anything) you plan on reading next... be it tomorrow or tonight? ..... or when-ever....

Extra points scored for humor - however - all responses should have a thread of candor as opposed to being pure fiction. I shall contribute my reponses on these questions when next I log on... or by sunday since my saturday is jam packed with 3 easter egg hunts and a pot luck dinner gathering. IE, I don't think I'll be on much saturday...

Good nite and Enjoy!

Hope your egg hunts were fun!

Riddle me this Batman....

A ship entered the Panama Canal at its west end, passed through the canal, and left at its east end. However, immediately after it left the canal, it entered the Pacific Ocean. If the ship did not double back or sail backwards, how could this be?

A guess...

The pacific ocean side is actually on the EAST side of the canal...The canal is not horizontally oriented, its vertical on a map.

Blacksburg is such a beautiful town!! The Engineering school is just Awesome. Daniel applied to the Pamplin School of Business. It was much easier to get in there when I went!! (I graduated in 79 Pamplin School). Your DH and my DS had a much harder time of it!

Daniel won't be with me on this EB (he will be in his sophmore year at that point). That is why I am doing the WB....just with him. It leaves PC 2 days after he finished exams for his freshman year. We are doing EB so my DD13 and DD10 (who will be in school during the WB) can see the canal!

I win the game as I get to do both!!:cool1: :cool1:

That is awesome for you! Each one will be special too.:)
