I'm in Morgantown, WV for the weekend so I'll be chat with the new toy.

Did I mention how cool this is?
:surfweb:

That sounds cool Brack:) May be hard to type at 70 mph:rotfl2:

May I please go off-topic for a moment please.........

Potential Mini-Meet participants. I just have to say this: I am a FOLLOWER, NOT a leader. I am terrible at making decisions, so you guys decided, tell me where to be and when to be there and I will HAPPILY attend! The O'Bs are very easy-going and laided back (and if you believe that, I got a bridge to show ya) :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Now back to our regular scheduled DISing

I warn you all I have no mercy! That is why my Mom won't let me tackle her basement. LOL

Hey Paula, I'll let you unclutter me! We don't have basements out here in CA, but my garage could use some serious tough love. One of these days I'd actually like to be able to park a car in there again, but we have to part with "stuff" After my Dad died a couple of years ago and my sister and I had to sell the house and deal with all of my parent's belongings, my garage slowly filled up. It's hard for me to part with things that belonged to my parents (the original pack rats that bestowed their genetics on me), but I really can't hang on to things forever that I will probably never use. I need someone to come and get tough with me!

I am not looking forward to having to clean out the IL's house when something happens to them. It would be easier to just bulldoze it & burn the pile of rubble. They wont be able to sell the house...it is too dirty & the bathroom floor is ready to fall thru. OY! :sad2: Pack rat doesn't begin to describe that house.

Yikes, that doesn't sound pleasant. Fortunately my parent's home was in good condition and clean, it's just that my Mom was a collector (dolls, Precious Moments, Hallmark ornaments, etc.) and they had a lot of furniture, not too mention the photos and the boxes and boxes of files. My mom saved all our school stuff (and there was four of us girls) and all sorts of other papers, checks, receipts etc. It was daunting going through all of it and deciding what to keep and what to shred or give away. The nice thing is there was so much that even all the grandkids got many nice momentos from my Mom and Dad. And nobody fought over anything which was a great relief to my sister and me, since we were the main ones handling the estate.

Well I'm signing off to go watch the AI results. And I'm guessing that Mohawk man will not be going home. I guess next week he'll have to come back with a fro.

grrrrr so we were watching Crossing Jordan and at one of the big poignant moments the friggin' news cuts in about bad weather in the area! :headache:

I guess I can't be too mad because it turned out to be a tornado that landed about 150 miles from here. Several casualties reported. Luckily no fatalities as of yet.

DW told me a story about someone who died back in Delaware. Her house was really bad...one of those places with 24 cats or some such thing. I guess the next of kin realized there was no hope for this place plus it was in the middle of nowhere so they allowed the local fire department to perform a controlled burn and use the place as a training scenario!

I admit some pack rat-ness myself. ;) I've got a couple of office boxes with old bills, statements etc. that I've carted from house to house with the intentions of shredding that crap but never do.

Say Todd, did I mention how jealous I am of you living in Vegas? Let's just say: Ecco Shoes Outlet Store!!!! :thumbsup2

I picked up 2 pair of Eccos while I was there. :woohoo: While I was at the Premium Outlets I also had to pick up a nice pair of Clarks. I think the next time we go I'll have to take the rollaboard specifically to hold the Eccos and have shoes that fit and provide proper arch support! :cloud9: The Rockports are okay and could use a better orthotic, the Sketchers just don't compare to the comfiness of the Ecco arch support and the Polo boat shoes...:sad2:

Mary, just pick the one or two of things that give you the warmest memory of them and put it one of your rooms so that you see it or use it. I have only had to deal with the death of my Dad my Mom had her engagement diamond made into a pendant for me. (she gave my sister a diamond cluster that she got for the 10th anniversary, he died that year and my brother his wedding band) These were given to us when we each graduated HS. When my grandparents died a few years ago I wanted a small black iron stove I used to play with and Grandma's roasting pan. I use it all the time.

Alright, I'm about done playing ketchup, and now it's time to hit the sack...night all!
See you in the morning!

Reminds me of my grandparent's house. They actually had to pay someone several thousand dollars to haul off stuff that was hazardous out of the backyard. It was horrible! My Aunt who was executer let everything sit in the house for 2 years before she let anyone go in there! Gotta love families sometimes:rolleyes1

Goodnight!

I'm headed to Morgantown, WV tomorrow for a weekend with about 300 ST's. It's our annual youth retreat so be thinking about me. :cheer2:

I will be in chat Friday but maybe later. Who knows I might there for the good stuff this week!
:lmao:

Good luck to you! Enjoy!:)

Spring storms can be fierce.:scared1: We have had our share of tornados in years past they are devastating.
