Good for you I do try to take them right out of the dryer and I avoid ironing at all costs! I have friends though that actually love to iron.

I am known for wearing out irons. I have one upstairs that I use for household ironing, like clothes etc. And my major professional iron that I use in my workroom. I would love to buy a boiler iron but I just can't justify the cost.

But I really do hate to iron. I don't mind it when I am working, but I really don't like to do clothes and such.

This must be very frustrating and I hear others with the same problem sometimes.

When I had my Total Hip Replacement my experience was very different. I had just returned on a Tuesday from WDW in a lot of pain from the walking. He saw me on Thursday in his office. I told him that I was ready for the surgery. On Monday at noon I was being wheeled in to the OR for the hip replacement.

I really hope things work out for your DD ..... sooner than later.

We just got a prescription for pain for her. Tylenol 3. Now I just have make sure she doesn't take them to often and watch to make sure she doesn't get drowsy during the day. Kind of a catch 22 when you have kids on pain meds. They still have to function at school.

We have driven for years to WDW even when we lived in Dallas and OKC. It was (before $2.50 gas) cheaper than flying. Plus we had a vehicle if we needed one without renting (more $).

Having said that ..... we just might fly this year.

We have driven for years. The kids have learned how to sleep (me too) while Mark drives. They started out as babies and so the don't really know anything else. flying is a treat for them but I hate to fly so I relax more knowing Mark is behind the wheel. This trip DD is getting to do some driving. No sleeping for me then.

Stop!!!! Please let it all out here as much as you need. Its good therapy to let it out. If you don't, it will only build up and make you miserable. Too many people post 9/11 didn't get it out and are now on disability retirements and extensive therapy.

I think 50,000 posts back and forth over a period of less than two months, plus a few "all-night" (or close thereto) chat session equals a group of friends who are here for each other.

Be as much of a downer as you need (although no one else is complaining you are a downer).

Let us be your strength when you need it.

MR - Laura #2 here - well I just got back from my waxing/facial too - alas its not a vacation waxing however, I did get my chinny chin chin done - when it came time to do my mustache - I told her I would pass - - felt I had had enough pain for the day!

I say we rally and have some of the guys wax just before CC so they can know what we go through just to look pretty for them

(Although I really must adopt my DD's philosophy - if they don't like the way I look - they can walk the plank! ARGH! )


Anyway, just saying hi - have been out of touch a lot lately and just found out the recaps have been discontinued! I'm sure some of you wonderful people will let me in on anything I might have missed! Later!

No seriously, He would do a great job a planning. He plans all our vacations. Makes all ressies, including meals, all I have to do is pack and show up. It is really wonderful.

Hi Brack - I've had mine from Sprint for almost 8 months and I love mine! Never travel w/o it - that's how we found out you can use it in St. Thomas !

However, when I went out to the country here - a friend had just bought some land (SoCal) out there - that was the only time it wouldn't work - boy was I bummed! Had to resort to the old B**b tube to entertain me - that was't fun - missed DIS sorely! Now, before I go anywhere - I always ask - you have wires and cables out there - if the answer is no - I stay home! Sometimes I'm so pathetic!

Laura that would honestly be great, we love Test Track, esp. the STs, we love crappy food and we love Illuminations!! I also know Mark as the Over Planning Compulsive Disorder Gene and he'd plan well for us all!
