Our family is getting back together, slowly but surely. DDs fever is now a distant memory, but the cough...makes me hurt just to hear it!!!

What happened to your poochie? Nothing serious I hope? I'm feeling a bit guilty right now...DH is outside with the snowblower trying to get rid of the first 7" before another 4-6" fall overnight. But, I did bring him some hot coffee not too long ago, so that counts for something, right?

Lisa, do you think the Alex and/or Pete would consider a temporary sub board? It could be set up like the restaurant board. There's the main board to discuss the restaurants and then two sub boards. One to discuss the dining plan and one for dining reviews.

Several people have posted how hard it is to keep here. Some people just want to discuss the planning while others want things to remain the same. And then there are those who want both.

If we had a sub board for DCL special cruises, then we'd have a place for planners as well as place for meet threads.

This would allow everyone on the various sailing to share info about the ports, special events...

Once the special sailing are completed, the sub-board could be closed. (Until DCL announces the the next set of special cruises )

On previous cruises, I've had the BEST of intentions to get outa bed early and get some good pics, but I just CAN'T seem to do it...

I'm sure there will be at least ONE day on this cruise that I'll be able to get up early... (Famous last words... )

Okay - I admit it, this is just another reason why I'm married. On our honeymoon, DH was getting up at 6 in the morning and walking the beach in Hollywood Beach, FL - by himself because Sleeping Beauty (moi) was getting her beauty sleep!

I'm so not a morning person. DH is just used to it, so he tends to get up earlier. I'm sure he'll be out there a time or two with the rest of the early morning risers.

Hi Tom --actually I was thinking just the opposite! It seemed that the board started getting slow and going down more when this thread's pace slowed dramatically earlier this week...you've got to help us pick up the pace so that we can help the boards recover, right?

Apparently, with that kind of cut she could have easily bled to death, so they wanted to keep her long enough to know that it wouldn't start bleeding severely again, although it is still bleeding a little. On the bright side, I earned a few Disney Dollars by paying the vet bill with my Disney Visa.

Hey Crew -

I have a quote for the t-shirts... These prices include set up, sales tax, credit card fees, etc. they do NOT include shipping. If there is a lot of interest in the shirts my thought is to put them on my eBay store (not in an auction) as eBay provides inventory and shipping support that will be needed if there are a lot of orders. If we're worried about the "general public" ordering shirts I can put a notice in the item that only folks on the manifest may order and all other orders will be cancelled. If we don't care then I won't. Also, I'll be able to take credit cards through my PayPal account. I figure the ordering "window" will be several weeks long for each order. (Supposing we have more than one.)

I have a lot of questions that need to be answered. I'll put together an email and ask Lisa to send it out - not eveyone on the manifest is monitoring the board. (That would be folks with real lives?? ) Based on the answers I receive I'll know that best way to do this is make the most folks happy.

I also got a quote for door magnets. 3" x 8" (fold a piece of paper into thirds - it's a little smaller than that). I'm thinking one, Just in Time order for them - provided there is enough interest.

And the printer can print up other stuff - bags, mugs, etc. Again, provided there is enough interest.

A 2-sided shirt at the 200 level is cheaper than the 1 sided at the 50 level.

Okay - I think these prices are great! I'm thinking that we'll be ordering a total of 12 shirts (6 of each color/2 sided) JIT and we will also do the magnet. I would be interested in mugs. Ebay/paypal is not a problem for us (as of today - had someone hyjack my ebay account yesterday, had to go through some hoops to get it straightened out and reopened but done!).

What other stuff is everyone thinking of? Flags? If so, I'm so there!

Jay & I had Lifestyle portraits done on our Princess cruise and I had my hair up that night....and am kicking myself. They're great pictures, but I really wish I'd left my hair down. I wonder why that is??

I love the way I look with my hair up...until the pic's that is. Then I think it makes me look old. Now that my hair is pretty short, I don't know if I could get it all up or not.
