Best thing with Chris' game, worst they can finish is second place.... its championship, so fingers crossed.

fingers crossed:thumbsup2 ::yes::
Tell him we're rooting for him:woohoo:

Helluva game! Both teams started with 8 players (long story, fitting playoffs around other schedules) and in 2d inning, Chris' team was down 8-1. End of 4 down 9-2. End of 5, down 9-7. Won in bottom of 6th and huge pile on of guy who ran home for final run!

I will say, I was again reminded of what great coaches we had all season, the opposing coaches were yelling at their kids non-stop, almost belittling them, one opposing coach called for "time" while play was still going on to try and stop our guys from advancing on overthrow and then later was warned not to walk on field....

But it was HOT!!!!!

Please say a prayer for my cousin and her family. Her husband was killed in a motorcycle accident early this morning. Today would have been his 43rd birthday. They have three daughters (16,13 and 10).

He just got home from Iraq about two months ago.
LaTanya, your cousin's family will be in our prayers.

So, how did it end up? :confused3

Good evenin' pirate:s We had a great weekend, but good golly am I tired.

Spent all day Friday at Busch Gardens - great day to go. We didn't wait in line more than 10 minutes and at about 7 pm they started letting us just stay on some of the coasters. It was hot for a few hours, but otherwise great.

Saturday was water park day - we stayed at Great Wolf. Fun stuff! Then we had to go into Yorktown to pick up my race packet so we had dinner & went back to the slides.

Sunday, up at 0430 for a 7 am race start. I'm not a morning person, but boy am I glad the race started at 7. It was 90 degrees by 9 am. I hate hot.
But Yay Me! I met all three of my goals for the triathlon:
1. Finish!
2. Under 2 hours (1:42:40)
3. Not last in my age group

This was my first open water swim & I had a really tough time - it took me about double time it should have. I really wasn't freaked out, but just couldn't regulate my breathing, which is pretty important in meeting the 'don't drown' umm, I mean 'finish' goal.

650 meter swim, 12 mile bike, 5K run before 9 am. Then I had barbecue and a beer. Triathlons are really just an excuse to drink before noon. :)

We went back to Great Wolf for a few more hours & I was even able to get myself up the water slide steps.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Please PM me if I missed something important.

You da wo-MAN! :thumbsup2 I want to know how you ran a 5K in 90+ heat?

Hi,
Myself,Dh.Dd age 12 age ds age 11 will be joining everyone on the cruise! Yeah!

:welcome: aboard! Check out the first page.

I wish there was a magic button to search for all posts (since your last one) where people quoted or replied to your own post. With the speed at which this thread goes, it's hard to spot replies when I can only check in once every day or two.

If anyone has replied to a post of mine that I haven't acknowledged, my apologies. ;)

We drove by the Sunrise hotel yesterday while driving to dinner. I told my wife to take a good look. She said that it was OK, nothing special. For one one night it may be OK. I don't want to give you an endorsement since we just saw the outside.

Today I made Cherie a spread sheep for "Who is going to wear what when". I am hoping that if we plan out what everyone is wearing it will translate into less baggage. :rotfl2: Anyway I mentioned to her what are we wearing for Mouseketeer night. What, there is a Mouseketeer night? Ya, I saw it on Deb Wills blog.
Our dinner at Animator's Palate was themed the Mickey Mouse Club! It was fun with the servers all dressed in white turtle neck shirts, the head servers in red turtle neck shirts.

I checked the blog again and saw that it was on their 11th night. I went to check the navigator for that day and no mention of it. So I emailed Deb and she said that there was no advance warning for this but should be your second Animator's Palate night (the first being the show) and to check with our servers. I remember seeing this on Andrews pictures from 2005 as well. Anyway Cherie thought that it would really cool if we got Mouseketeer shirts (at this point what is another 4 shirts). So I went to a t-**** site and came up with this.

Hi,
Myself,Dh.Dd age 12 age ds age 11 will be joining everyone on the cruise! Yeah!

Welcome!!! Jump in wherever you can. :) I also have a 12 yo DD.

Way too much to followup on. Happy Birthday to Cherie, John, and any others I did not pirate a cake for. :goodvibes

Crazy, crazy week. Graduations, Take your kid to Work Day, both parents birthdays etc. It is quite discouraging to think I have to go to work tomorrow. At least I have WDW in 2 weeks to look forward to.
LaTanya- I am so sorry for you and your family. You all will be in my prayers.

Glad to have you aboard!!

See, she beat me to it. I jumped on our desktop to order our T-shirts and she's upstairs catching up on her laptop!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Thanks to everyone who wished our DS John a happy 13th birthday this week with his :cake: wishes. We showed him the pictures and at first he thought you actually baked :cake: just for him and took a picture of it!

He told me Thursday night that he doesn't feel like a teenager. I consider that a good thing.

:)
17dd hated when she turned 17 because everyone kept saying *Just think your next b-day and you'll be 18*. She really doesn't want to grow up that fast! And I like it! :thumbsup2

I guess I am the only one that doesn't plan what we are going to wear....
I don't usually even know what 17dd or Dh pack! LOL! I know wht we are wearing on Formal night but, other then that..... I know ds & dh will be wearing pants & shirts to dinner.....and dd's & I will be wearing either skirts/dresses or some type of cute outfit (7dd) to dinner.... We never match...at least not on purpose! :lmao: I may make sure we at least *go together* one evening for a good picture.

DD was very excited to learn she was the top seller of cookies this year. Tomorrow she gets her Wii. I also now need to locate a Wii Fit!:lmao: .

I bet that was such a thrill for her! :goodvibes

I'm not liking the sound of this. Sure hope they don't make the change on the Magic

The pirate party is in trial on the Wonder, running from 7:30 - 8:30, with no buffet. All early dinners start at 5:45, all late dinners start at 8:30.

Oh, no! We always dance and have a *sweatly* good time during the Pirate Party!!! I could never sweat and dance like that and then go to dinner!!! Who would want to sit by us??? :confused3
