I got tuxedo rentals ordered for the boys and myself. I was worried about the sizing for my large one, but they called to clarify, and it sounds like we should be good to go. We'll be packing some safety ppins and duct tape too, just in case.

I'm still waiting for DCL to send the info on Tux rental. You got yours early because of the vow renewal right
Did you order through a website ?
I absolutely don't want to have to pack formal attire for the boys-- we barely have enough room for the princess stuff

We got our info on the tux rental with our cruise planning packets several months ago. If you didn't get your packets, contact DCL or your TA and request a second one. Here is the website for the tux rental people here - you can order them right off of their site as well. The only thing is the prices listed on the site are for 7 night cruises - I think it was about $10 more for our cruise.

Do you collect a certain type of pin or character? I just go by what appeals to me so no pattern to my collection.
Both of my kids love collecting pins too. DH got us all Disney gift cards for our Christmas stockings this year for buying pins on the TOAL

With the change in age groupings, how many parents are considering having their kids "play up" in the next higher age group.

Also, has anyone heard if DCL continues this practice givenm the new groupings?

I guess I should move the 2 ten year olds who have 11 birthday on cruise up to the next bracket?

Thoughts?

DS just turned 11 so he will be in OQ but if he were within 1 month of his 11th bday I would move him up, I think he would enjoy this more then being with 8-10 yr olds. DD will be 13 but 2 weeks shy of her 14th bday and she would be happier in the stack since she has been in the teen clubs on other cruises already. If for some reason she isn't happy there then we will speak with the counselors and put her back in OQ

We plan to move our DS10 up to the 11-13 age group. He will be turning 11 in September. He's used to playing with older kids with his older brother.

The tux info was in the useless Mickey Mail that we were all anxiously waiting for in March (some are still waiting). Formal wear was the very last section.

DD(7) has been in the Ocaneer Club for the past two cruises but they float her up to the Lab depending on what's going on on any given day.

I just go by which pins I like at the time! LOL! I try to find cute Chip & Dale and Stitch pins for 10ds. And Villian ones for 17dd.

DH has bought us pins @ Hong Kong Disney a couple of different years.

Too cool about getting the Disney GC's for pins!!!!

Pamela, I bought our AirTran tickets in January also, but through Travelocity. Was there a certain date in January that determined the 2nd bag charge ? Not sure if I can avoid the 2nd bag charge or not. I'll try to email them to see if they will give me the same confirmation.

I think the date was well after January. I couldn't find anything specific on their website (I think it was a couple months ago) so I sent an email to customer service. The reply is very clear and I plan to bring it with on the trip.

I'm aiming for having 4 checked bags for the 3 of us - DH thinks I'm nuts and it will be more like 5 or 6

I checked the website and there is nothing about tickets being purchased earlier not having the extra baggage fee. Just that anyone traveling after May 16th gets charged (keep that email). So I sent emails to travelocity and AirTran to see if I can get some confirmation in writing. We only have AirTran from MCO to VA, but it would be nice not to have to worry about extra bags going home.

I bought a Hong Kong Disney pin on ebay, it had a blue dragon on it-very cool. I quickly realized I needed to stay away from ebay or I would be in trouble
