So do we get snail mail from Disney saying that we're going on the cruse?? How long does that take?

Just a fluff packet that tells you everything you already know about DCL. Some of our pirates haven't even received theirs yet. Not sure if you'd get it by booking after the date when those were sent?

I had a heartbroken DS tonight. VMK closed it's virtual gates for the last time tonight. We've known about this for about 6 weeks, but he never wanted to give up TV time or skateboard time to play. Well panic started setting in last night so today he 'bought' no homework so he could play all afternoon. He was online from 4pm - 9pm. He didn't want to sign off. Poor guy.

I know we had chat trouble with VMK players but it really was a nice little game for the whole family. You created characters and spent time in a virtual Magic Kingdom. It had Main Street, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, etc....all the good stuff you'd find in WDW or DL. I'm sad to see it go myself. There was a huge campaign to try to save it, many players even offered to pay to play. But Disney said it was a promotion for the 50th anniversary and it had run its course.

DS is still hoping that he'll be able to log in tomorrow. :guilty:

:rotfl: One of the reasons that DH wanted to move was that he was FINALLY going to let us have a pool (he has never allowed a pool, swingset or trampoline since those are the top 3 reasosn kids end up in the ER) and then we bought a house with no pool! But, his parents are building next door and they are building a HUGE pool -- I had a gate put in our fence when it was built. :rotfl2:
LOL
so why'd you buy a house without a pool? Ya silly willy!
Oh we've always had a swingset- but now we don't. We had a trampoline for awhile, got rid of it at our last house (wouldn't really fit the sloping backyard anyway) and now we have trampoline and pool. We live on the edge apparently. ;)
Look, I got bored kids in the summer.. I gotta do something! :lmao:

The Quartermaster be pleased to tell ya that the Pirate Soft Goods shopping cart is open!! Thanks be to our two intrepid crewmates who braved the cart as the first sales. It worked perfectly!

The shopping cart is to purchase t-****, tanks, pillowcases, gear (tote) bags, and DIY printing service. If yer lookin' for lanyards or wristbands, see ThePirateZone website for instructions.

All PayPal orders have an additional 3% added to the total amount. This is the cover the cost of the PayPal service. The 3% will show up at the end of the checkout process as a "PayPal Surcharge". Why do we have one? This is a not-for-profit endeavour. To keep costs low for everyone, we're just charging what stuff actually costs.

Members of the Packing Crew may pick up their orders in person on Packing Day - 2 July.

Argh! I've changed my mind!

PM the Quartermaster (Esteri) or send an email via the contact form in the cart. Let me know what you want to add (or delete) and I'll let you know where your stuff is in the process, and how we can handle it. If your t-**** order has already gone to the printer, I won't be able to let you delete it.

HELP!
I still need help with this. I even logged in and everything and everything says out of stock, no pictures... on everything but shirts. Are we placing orders on pillowcases and bags and stuff without even seeing what they will look like or what types of bags they are/etc? why is everything saying out of stock? The only thing it will allow me to add to my cart is "test product".

what's going on here guys? why won't it work for me? wahhhhhhhhhh

OK... so Prince Caspian was a very LONG movie - and a bit predictable.

I should hope so! It's based on a well loved book after all. :)

Ok..I purchased my t-*****
It was relatively painless :)

Hum. The shopping cart appears to be working correctly. I think thr problem may be in the navigation. Try this.

  • On the left hand menu bar (Categories) towards the top click on "Pirate Items"
  • To look at an item click on it
  • Read the description, look at the pictures
  • At the bottom make your choices, if you don't make all these choices, it won't let you add it to the cart
  • Click "Add to Cart" on the bottom right
Yes, there is not a banner picture for the Gear Bags or Pillowcases, I didn't have one to add.

There is a picture of the tote bag style (from our supplier's website) and a complete description inside the Gear Bag description

There is not a picture of a pillowcase, as I haven't got one, it's just a plain white standard sized pillow case with the logo on it. I'm afraid you'll have to use your imagination for that one.

Please ignore the number in stock and weight messages you see inside the items. They are there for my use, and I never could figure out how to turn them off.

How you got to "Test Product" is a bit of a mystery, but it's gone now.

Try this, and if you're still having trouble, let me know. OK?

For those following my blog? The part where I talk about the summit trail with only inches to spare? Well this is what I meant

So...I guess those of us who are afraid of heights..you wouldn't suggest this one? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled when I turned 40 either:headache: It gets easier after that:upsidedow

I think I just got better at ignoring birthdays :rolleyes1

Happy belated Birthday!

I've been practicing saying "I'm 40" for the last couple of weeks as well as the "40 is the new 30" and neither has made it any easier. Tonight my DS (13) asked me if I was going through a mid-life crisis, I asked him what gave it away.

I started my mid-life crisis a few years back. Don't really have much incentive to end it....

Holy carp! You weren't kidding about inches! :scared1:

Hey here's something I just thought about... on AA if we bought our tickets before May 12th- do we get to have a 2nd bag free or gotta pay for it too? I just started thinking about all this stuff I have for THREE (not one but three LOL) kids doing the secret mickey. So that means I gotta take all this stuff with me, and my 3 kids will be getting stuff too bring back. :scared1: I'm telling ya all this stuff I've collected for this secret mickey thing for the past 9mo or so would ATLEAST fill up a suitcase... and too much for us to carryon besides I'd already decided each of us is gonna have to do a carryon (size and weight according to what the child can handle- which means Rita won't be having much in her small carryon LOL) and those carryons are not counting this extra stuff for secret mickey...

How is everyone else handling all this extra stuff you gotta bring for the kids secret mickey? Not to mention extra stuff to put in the other adults/kids extenders as well- you know like that fish extender list we have? Well we gotta bring stuff to put stuff in people's extenders- or are you all buying stuff on the ship?

deadline.png

Just a friendly reminder...the deadline to order lanyards is Friday Night the 23rd.

They are $1.00 each and you can pay me on the ship.

Please PM me with the quantity and cabin number for delivery (if we don't see you at the terminal/Scoops meet)

Thanks!

If you find me in the terminal - I will be handing them out. We are also meeting on the 17th at 3 p.m. at Scoops. I will also be there to hand them out for a little while.

Everyone is meeting there at scoops? Are we really gonna have enough room there? LOL

:confused3

I'm still amazed. It can be over 50 pages easily in a day sometimes, especially with the pirate runs. My DW wants to try to jump in, but is overwhelmed right now.

At this point, it's kind of like jumping into a speeding car. Maybe you guys can practice in the parking lot first.

Wonder how much I could wear on???

But then they might try to charge me for an extra seat because I'd be so big?? :rotfl:

Maybe they'll let us pile our bags in the seats & we can ride in the baggage section of the plane

It's Thursday and I finished my employee evaluations yesterday,
My boss is away all week at a seminar,
The AOA inspectors did not show up this week,
Looks like I got a freebie today :woohoo: :woohoo:
