Who you accousin' of Fluffin'?

No accousin just a asken.:rotfl2: Hey did you see my response to the ice cream challenge? Do you wan't the prizes I have to give out?

My In-Laws fund a golf scholarship at a University in this area. My MIL was (she had knee surgery last year) a VERY good golfer.

My dad is an excellent golfer as well. He golfs just about every day from early Spring through late Fall. In other words, as soon as the snow melts and before it falls again.

Which is why I think I'll start my dd out with lessons from him first. It doesn't hurt that she has her grandpa wrapped around her little finger! ;)

We intentionally passed on a house we loved- solely because we didn't like the idea of the kids being upstairs and us downstairs- but that's because of afraid of a fire situation or something.
I don't know how old your kids are- but mine are old enough we can LEAVE THE HOUSE (gasp) with our oldest watching the younger two- legally. LOL Our kids are 14, 10, and youngest is about to turn 8 (and is the most mature of them all if you ask me LOL)

We lived in a house for 17yrs that had all the bedrooms upstairs and dh still walked around checking on the kids at least 4 times a night. ;)

We just moved to this house 3 months ago. :)

The 3 still left at home are 17dd, 10ds (a 40 yr old in a 10 yr's body he detests imaturity) & a 6dd (she'll be 7 in July).

When we have connecting rooms (in hotels) the door is always proped open so there is never a closed door between us and the kids.

At home all bedroom doors are open so that we can hear them --- our house is extremely *open*.

To each their own! My favorite saying is *Isn't that why we live in the USA? We are free to make our own choices.* :goodvibes

Here you can golf year round ...and my IL's do! LOL! Dh is the only one that doesn't play. He does enjoy playing but, not with them --- they are uber competitive. MIL has said that DH has the most *natural* talent of any of them. My oldest 2 were very good golfers when they were younger. Oldest's dd's gold coach (she took private lessons) told me years ago that she could get a golf scholarship easily if she continued - that was before MIL sponsered a scholarship. ;)

The younger 3 (17dd, 10ds & 6dd) have never played. I am planning on signing them up this summer for lessons.

Lanyards got voted out, the majority (not me) prefers wristbands.

Chrissie is working on a badge for us with our screen names. Not sure how we're supposed to wear them if we don't have lanyards though.

no, I'm not bitter......well maybe a little

I noticed that on the WB ..they pictures show everyone with a matching lanyard. Do we have someone doing this? If not..is anyone interested in having these? I would be happy to donate the name tag potion (would need interested parties names) but would need to be reimbursed for the lanyard portion.
Thoughts?

A wonderful Diser (Firstimers) did this for us on our 10nt! I LOVE our lanyard from then!
I don't konw how to go about doing this though......

We all met on Deck 9 the first day (before sailaway?) and they were passed out. They (him & his wife) were able to pass out some of them in the Terminal while waiting to board.

They were really helpful in reconzing other disers on shore excursions, also. Dh actually specifically talked to different people because of them wearing the lanyards (Cheryl -- GoofyGuy & his family)

I must not have been around then.. I don't remember that! LOL! I can't keep a bracelet on -- I ALWAYS end up taking htem off and leaving them somewhere.... But, I HAVE to wear a lanyard the entire trip -- room card, etc.... I wear my lanyard on shore excursions, also.

I wanted Both!

As long as I am not stepping on anyone's toes..if there are some of us out there that want them..I would be happy to check on them and let you know. I know a lot of new folks have joined us..so maybe not instead of bracelets..but in addition to? Again..if I am going out of bounds..just let me know and I will go sit in my shunned seat! I figure I need a lanyard either way..might as well find something dis green!

Let me know...

Go for it!

If someone doesn't like to wear a landyard, they won't order one. I'm sure no one will mind if you organize this. :)

Personally, if I wear a landyard at all, it will just be the one DCL gives me. I have to wear one when I volunteer at school, and it bugs me. So, my prediction is, I will not want to wear one much on the ship either....but who knows!

It was thoughtful of you to offer this to the group.

This was given to us by a couple on our thread. I loved the landyard because it was easy to see if someone wore two around their neck or the blue one....they were a Diser!!! T thought it was a great idea!!! The black lanyard was a castaway gift.

I missed the math alert. I know what your answer was to #7 :rotfl2: : same as mine.:thumbsup2
I am also a Grace Kelly.:thumbsup2

LOL 17......... well thank you for atleast making me feel slightly less "over protective" than I thought I was.. because you top me! hehe
I guess we're extremely "not open"- the kids doors stay shut at night. But I thought we were told by the fire chief that it's best to have closed doors in event of a fire? I dunno, maybe I'm remembeirng that wrong but it helps them to go to sleep faster and keeps Tramp in Robert's room. LOL!!!!!!

We all have our things... I can sleep with a closed door between us but maybe you can let your kids sign themselves out on the ship where as just thinking about that gives me hives. LOL

I couldn't find it. All I did was search on Fish Extender. Another seller shows up this time. Her ebay id is gradysmommy. Good luck!
i checked gradysmommy.. no listings since april. once again a day late and a dollar short. LOL

Saw an indepth interview with her and she is very interesting.especially when she spoke about Liz and Eddie. They were all best friends and she was the one who sent him over to Liz when Mike Todd was killed...

He also dated my Aunt Jeanette when my Grampa was stationed in Albuquerque. This was before he was "discovered" and they were both teenagers.
