I was thinking of you yesterday afternoon (and that was why I came by the thread Sunday night, so really, it is all your fault). I was up your way as the family treated MWMBO (Mom who must...) to dinner at Texas de Brazil at Woodfield. Kept thinking I'd run into you saving money at Jacques Pennee's.

Friday nights are usually family night so I doubt I'll ever make chat, but I am glad the chat is coming in useful for y'all. I'm going to be pretty upset the day y'all sail (but we found out May 1 that we would have had to cancel anyway as DS14 wants to be in marching band and that means band camp the week before school starts -- right when the cruise would have been).

Its getting closer and closer , I wonder if Paul (Chris's DH) decided on what he was going to do ?

We probably need to get another list of who is still doing a POTC character since we have alot of new people coming in ...So I guess maybe after this coming weekend we try to get a final list of who is actually going to do it and who also may need help ...

I was just thinking last night that I need to sit down with DS and figure out what he really wants to do. He still says he wants to either be Royal Navy or Beckett. The problem is, he wants to be recognized and I doubt anyone beyond you and I would know he was Bekett. And being somone in the Royal Navy doesn't really fit a Pirate theme. So must people would wonder what the heck he was thinking.

I normally do not drink, and would be the last person in the world to participate in "shots around the ship". But I gotta tell you - this does sound like fun....

Dan - you don't need to drink - some people sipped on Diet Cola and or ice tea. The important thing was that we were together and celebrating.

Ok - just had to post, I am now in Quiet Cove and typing but my minutes are flying by - just couldn't help myself. Tonight is Formal night and the photographers were already setting up for tonight. I am still splotchy and very pink but in a few days I should be well done.

Oh and one clarification, I posted on embarkation day that Ricky Kelmom was on - I was looking at the navigator for the following day. As you can tell, I was dead tired and couldn't see straight. I missed the Welcome Aboard show.

Last night they should John Charles who was hilarious. Rickey Kelmoms was awesome and not to be missed if he's on ours.

OH YEAH! OCEAN'S QUEST IS NOW FOR 11-13 YO. The Stack is for 14-17 yo.

Desiree - I will take pictures for your dd - she should be fine - all very open and friend;y.

Can someone please post on the post this pretty please. Ocean's Quest is now for 11-13 yo. This per Asst Mgr of Ocean's Quest - forgot her name. Laura? All I remember is that she's from South Africa.

Oh yeah, Ship of Thieves had their picture taken by Shutters today at 3 pm. Large Group! Took a while to take it but it was - will let you know how it turned out.

DD says thanks again for even more birthday wishes. I need to figure out how to post pictures on here - my Dear Neighbor made a Hannah Montana Guitar CAKE (oops, said it again) for DD party on Friday - It was Fantabulous!!!

DD had a joint party with her best friend who is only 5 days younger. The theme for the party invites was "The Best of Both Worlds" and of course there was plenty of dancing and singing (dd9 still likes me at this point, even after i danced and sang and made a fool of myself, DS12 on the other hand thought I was a complete idiot (which means I am doing my job as a parent)!

Ok, so I should be working, but its grey, dismal, rainy and windy, and to top it all off, its Monday! So I'm quickly getting my cruise fix, popped over to the WB thread and noticed some new posts.

Now at work, Photobucket is blocked by our filter system. Can't see a photobucket image at all. When I see a post with a PB image, all I see is:

So I checked out the WB thread new posts and its just a bunch of those image placeholders, but there may be some pics of WB cruise from on-board. Or they could be old cruise pics or they could be Pamela Anderson....

I've been having trouble with PB for a month now! I couldn't load any pics from my camera for weeks,then I got about 50 on the other day,today no way!

So in general, how does everyone's footwear on the cruise compare to the footwear at say the Magic Kingdom? We always wear high-top type sturdy shoes in the parks, and I switch to the Teva type sandals in the resort.

For me, it's flip-flops on the ship and sneakers on shore.
For DW, it's Crocs all the way.
