Did she tell them that you simply need a Mom who is not only obsessive, but DISNEY obsessive, who does all the planning for you??? :lmao: :lmao:

Kidding.....she really is an amazing individual....I couldn't have asked for a nicer daughter.

Tell her we miss her here, she should stop by and harass you, I mean join in the friendly banter....

Argh. I be guilty!

BUT, not as guilty as ye! pirate:

And beside, did you notice the symmetry with me? I was the 27th poster with 27 posts. What do you call that? Oh, nevermind. I'm not sure I want to know! :lmao:

You know, with these wild and long threads, it would certainly help if the quote function had something like, "Originally Poste by Andrew DEREK UK on Page 151" That way we wouldn't have to search forever when we see a partial quote from somewhere.

Coder, anyone? :)

Thanks Tom, yes use that all the time, I think, its as this thread moves on so fast, its nice to know how far back the original post was saying 'page 25' etc.

Like me over here, when I see some of your evening posts its the next day for me, and I quote them in the morning, you may read my response the following day, by then my jokes, can actually become funny.:rotfl:

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to pass on some information that I received from Disney. When I inquired about the Trainer for A Day in PV, they told me it has been cancelled!! Apparently the ship gets into port too late to do this excursion - I believe it is slated to start at 10 am and the ship gets in for 9:30. They informed me the next closest dolphin excursion would be the "Signature Swim". I did contact Vallarta Adventures, who did confirm this info.

Just as an FYI, in the event someone else wanted to book this!

I have suggested that they take the excursion off the list, to try and aviod some uphappy clients on booking day.

For the cruisers who booked last evening and posted their findings -- THANK YOU! You are making it easier for the rest of us by giving us information that you were not privy too -- very kind indeed! We will be able to plan our bookings with the knowledge you passed on.

Enjoy your Sunday afternoon.

Michele

I've got some free entertainment in my own backyard! Actually, the parish owns up to the third base line and we have allowed the Town of Munster to place one of their fields right behind our home. The original agreement also included the provision that the town not light the field (unlike the other two right next to this one) so that we do not have to put up with night games right under our bedroom windows.

But, it does make for a pleasant evening watching a bit of Little League right from the back deck outside of my room! :)

So, during the summer, my Sunday routine is late lunch/early dinner with friends (around 3:00 p.m. or so) and then back to the rectory to watch a game or two.

That's what the little blue arrow is for. Just click on it and it will take you back to the original post.

Seriously? 8 years on the DIS and I never knew that.
This is our very first cruise also!

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:
Cool! You will love it!

Happy Birthday Matt!!!

pirate: 'ing. Happy Birthday!!!!

There is one in Marlton, NJ, about 1/2 hour from me.... happened to be passing it on way back from meeting and my car just got sucked into the parking lot....
That would be mighty dangerous for me.

Everybody have a great Sunday. Today is the last day of 10ds's play (Little Eyolf) at one of our community theaters (I think this is the first time that they have worked with a child. ;) )
It's been interesting for him to work with all new people -- a couple of other theaters ahd recommended ds to this director and she called him for a reading a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend's and so far this weeks shows have been good.
Today our out of town guests (we met them on our ABD this past August) are coming to see the show.
DS was happy last night that oldest DS and dh's parents came to the show -- 10ds dies in the show and he knew that several people didn't want to come because of that! ;) Last summer ds played Jimmy Sullivan (Annie's little brother) in The Miracle Worker and his grandparents wouldn't come see it since he had to cry out in pain as he was being pulled away.....

Tell Elvis I am proud of him!!!!! :woohoo:

I went in to check to make sure that a client got everything they wanted and noticed that only two of the excursions are showing not available right now

Best of Cartagena is still not listed and I have send an email to the person who deals with the shore excursions to find out why. Hopefully she will get back to me on Monday.

I didn't check to see if any others that are on disneycruise.com are not showing on the booking side of things, the only one I checked is the Best of Cartagena

Any info on this one will be appreciated!!:goodvibes

Thanks for following up on this excursion for us. We were looking at possibly booking this one.

Looks like there are several of us that want to do the "oh look" while sitting on a bus.:lmao: :lmao:

Here is a picture of Drew and Kylie after the Mass. He was still in his server alb.

You will all see her in this dress again on a formal night. :goodvibes

Wonderful to hear it went so well. Christa liked Kylie's dress.princess:

Good news!

Renee, the supervisor at DCL that was working on my issue, was at least able to everything (Both excursions and Palo) booked manually for us. The IT team is still trying to figure what happened, and fix it so that we can view and/or change things. But at least we are (hopefully) booked.

We are doing the Land's End Coastal Tour in Cabo, and then hoping to head over to Medano Beach afterward, though I have no idea what time my excursion is.:confused3

We're doing the Acapulco City Tour with Cliff Divers.

And we booked the Mangroves, Lunch, and show in Cartegena, but we'll probably end up cancelling that one because we really like the sound of the Mr Emerald tour Paula is working on. :thumbsup2

Now if we can just get them to assign Linda's and my staterooms near each other, we'd be set.

ETA: OK, now it's showing up as reserved even though I still have the error. So I can't change anything, but at least i have something. The Cabo tour is from 11:30 to 1:00, so I doubt we'll make it to the beach. We'll proabably just wander and shop a little bit.

woo hoo glad it worked out, Mike.

My entire left side is bruised (leg hips, backside, and ribs) and sore and my back is out..but besides that..i am okay. Could have been worse I am sure...

Thanks for asking tho...

coulda' been way worse. You coulda' missed booking !! Glad to hear you're OK.

I can live without that. She tells all my secrets. And besides, we want to stay friends. ;)

Freaks me out, too. I search back to try to find the original quote and sometimes cannot find it. I figure it was either edited away or deleted.

Thank you very much. It was a fun time. The students here really make my life a joy!

Mike, just hit the little arrow in the quote box & it will take you to the original post.

That looks like an awesome itinerary! I would be more jealous, but we will be in WDW at that time, so we will be happy! We are taking my in-laws for their first visit ever to WDW! I am so excited!

Sounds like a great trip. It is always fun to show the parks to someone who has never been:goodvibes

I watched it, we had a house full of teens and I made them all come watch it with me. Everyone picked a horse and I picked Eight Belles because she was a girl! It was so much fun to have all of us packed in the Family room yelling and screaming. I was so excited when she came in 2nd! Even the boys were pretty excited that mom's horse did good. Then the teens all cleared out while I kept watching and heard the bad news. I sat on the couch and cried a little. I was so sad (in fact, I am getting teary again). What a sad thing for the trainer/owner etc.

The kids did feel pretty bad that it was the horse I picked and the only lady of the bunch. So they didn't laugh openly at me for crying...that was nice of them I suppose.

I guess that is just the way it is with horses. The kids kept wondering why they couldn't fix her. Of course, they remembered Barbaro, but that didn't end well either. I don't know anything about horses, but I sure wish it didn't have to end that way for her. :(

Yes, I saw it . . . I always follow horse racing . . . I have a friend who runs thoroughbreds out of Belmont and have been lucky enough to go to the Belmont Stakes with lunch at the paddocks first and then on to the owner's boxes . . . I am always torn about this issue -- I love the horses so much that it makes me sick to see this kind of thing happen, but I know that if they ban thoroughbred racing the horses simply won't be bred, and they are magnificent beings . . . I really don't know what to say about it other than it sums up all of life, really, the wonderful cheering over Big Brown's amazing performance followed immediately by the tragedy of Eight Belles . . .

In reading, it is amazing the number of horses injured every year. We are always so hopeful after the Derby that we get a triple crown winner.. It has been 30 years now.

Julie, is the Belmont as much a party time as the Derby is for us?

Glad to hear you got them booked. Hope they get your ressie straightened out so you can book additional online

Well here's the really cool part. My brother, who is cruising with us, owed me some money from last year. I asked him if instead of making the payment to me, he would make the payment to the cruise. I was expecting him to make a large payment to the cruise & then I was going to pay off the remainder. He paid off the full amount !!

How cool is he ?:cool2:

Wish he would give my brother some lessons:rotfl:

ok, that's really funny, because every time I log on I think "darn chatty people, I can't keep up". then I see, dang, I'm the second chattiest. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao:

Finally sent in our req for the ZIP lines in PV.
Sure hope we can still get in.

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:
Here's hoping you get your ressie. You can always join us in Cabo if it is booked:)

My entire left side is bruised (leg hips, backside, and ribs) and sore and my back is out..but besides that..i am okay. Could have been worse I am sure...

Thanks for asking tho...

Desiree, hope you get to feeling better soon:hug:

Hey folks, just thought I'd share a discount code I ran across for National. They don't have an office near the port, but if you need a rental car elsewhere, this may help you.

Contract ID - 8572957
Coupon Code - ND2119071Q (blog coupon, no paper coupon needed)

I was able to get the wine van for about half the price of my previous quotes. I couldn't use the coupon though, but still got a great rate.

made of wine? full of wine? wine colored? wine run?
