Too funny!
Megan and Miranda think life begins when you are 12. They can sit in the front seat for the 1st time in the car, they get a cell phone and then can get their ears pierced.
Funny but Megan will be 12 in July and she has absolutely no desire to get her ears pierced. I am sure at some point she will change her mind but glad she is in no hurry.
It might have something to do with the fact that our next door neighbor, who is in Megan's class got her ears infected and it was GROSS! Or the fact that one of Miranda's friend got 1 ear pierced and said it hurt so bad she never went back and had the other one done. There is a 7 year old walking around with 1 ear pierced.:rotfl2:

My ears got very infected when I was about 12-13. I let them close after that. I got them re-pierced when I was 27. I needed to lay down on the store's floor after the piercing gun mis-fired & the earring in my left ear broke & needed to be replaced.

Well we should be into Spring and April showers by now but again we have a cold snap coming this weekend and after our White Easter, we might get Snow again overnight Saturday and Sunday.:santa:

Ah well will have to stay in and watch Doctor Who!:thumbsup2

Hope it isn't too cold for the Olympic flame here in London on Sunday.

Left off way back on page 36 and now your all on 70-something. :scared1:

Will I ever learn NOT to stay away????

Anyway, just doign a quick :drive: by as I got the first of our 2 rooms at the Grand CA for DD's 15th b-day tomorrow. Staying on DVC pts this time so it "doesn't" cost too much out of pocket. Got some cruises to save for. :lmao: :worship:

Anyway, we got "pool-view" rooms - problem is they forgot to say that the pool view is obstructed by shrubbery.

Found out I was able to make a reservation for Naples at Downtown Disney for 8 then dd called and said make it 12 then called back later after she realized she forgot to invite the in-laws for her birthday! So now we have 1 table of 14 and another of 4. Won't DH be surprised when he finds out he's footing the bill? :rolleyes1

Who does this chick think she is? A :bride: ?

Anyway, took some picture of the one room that was ready - in case anyone who hasn't stayed there would like to see them -I can post them after the weekend. I am at home picking up some clothes and then taking the girls to DL. They had 1/2 days and then track practice so they were a bit sweaty. Today was also the first time that she was able to receive flowers at school so guess what mom did? ::yes:: got the biggest pink roses and pink carnation with the biggest heart shaped mylar balloon and some others and a singing bear and had them delivered to her. What I wouldn't have paid to be a fly on that wall! :rotfl: I truly take to heart that a parent's job is to embarrass our kids while we still can.

Now my other problem - older DD wants to know why she never got flowers on her birthday? Ummmm......maybe because her birthday is July 20th and she never had to attend summer school?

Buts that's ok - you should see what I have planned for embarkation day this July! OOOHHHHH!!!!!! They are so going to hate me! :rotfl2:

Is it wrong to get some pleasure out of this? :rolleyes1

Anyways, looking for Christopher, KDDisneyDad or something like that - if anyone sees him posting - tell him he is being stalked please?????

I'll try and log on this evening - DH and I are old fuddy duddys and that trip to Vegas has not quite worn off - teach me to think I'm still a young one!

Oh yeah, several parents have told me that its ok to let my 15 yo go to the parks alone - we will be on premises and she'll be with a group of kids - so I know its time but its so hard when its your baby! :sad1:

On the other hand - I'm that much closer to being just the two of us! (Unofficially that is - just got to get rid of the older two) :rotfl:

OK all - off to check while the girls are upstairs packing. Talk to you all later.

You keep saying that, but I'm not entirely sure I believe you. Although my SPT -- geez he's not even an ST yet -- is giving me quite a run for my money.

Ya know. I shopped at that Walmart in PV. But I didn't even notice if they had liquor. I was too busy trying to find some replacement clothes since the airline lost our luggage. Well, it wasn't lost, it was sitting in Houston.

But I do know this is a Super Walmart. In addition to some clothes we got groceries for the week.

Isn't it great when you get to take one vacation and your clothes go on another. Almost like getting twice the value.

I wouldn't drive 4 anything for Jimmy Johnson, but depending on who that other guy is, I might do it.

DS is a big fan, and I put up with it because I like to look at the pretty cars and the pretty drivers. LOL.

Hmm....what to sign? Sometimes the Dollar Tree and Big Lots have Nascar items...or Walmart. Maybe just print a Nascar logo or #48 (Jimmy's number) and have him sign that? Usually when there is a signing, there's also a trailer with souvenier stuff too. You could just get something there. How about a beer helmet since it's a running redneck joke??

SSHHH......don;t tell my son you don't like Jimmy -that is his favorite driver. My favorite is Kyle Busch - he is awesome, we have several t-shirts signed by him, hats, little hotwheels with his siggy, heck we even have a part of his car that DS brought home form the races one day. DS and DH got to race with Kyle one night at our local G-Force racing cars - FUN! Me, I pass on teh races, too loud and too many WEIRDOS!

Hey all....thanks for the pixie dust and prayers. Talked with my prinicpal today about missing teacher work week. She was cool about it and knows i can handle it so all went well.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Still no Mickey Mail for us either.

That's wonderful -- now you have one less thing to worry about and can just enjoy trip planning.

We haven't gotten our DCL mailing, either! Of course if I wasn't on this thread all the time, I wouldn't even be thinking about it:laughing:

Great news!!!:thumbsup2

I am here at Jimmy Johns and it is Steve Wallace. Is he better? He seems very nice.

Glad it all worked out

Since he's Rusty Wallace's son, yes he's better. Don't really care for Steve, but Rusty was awesome. Rusty was DS's favorite until he retired.

humming "I feel pretty" from West Side Story, while you're getting dressed for dinner...

I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and gay
And I pity
Any girl who isn't me today... :rotfl2:

Yeah! One less thing to worry about! :cool1:

Details.....I want details.....I've got Tink already and am always interested in other Tink tattoos.

Flying Tink holding her wand similar to this:

glitterimagesdisney52.gif

She'll be on my stomach to the right of my belly button - her wand will be above it. I was thinking of getting my belly button pierced too but I might be having some fourth or fifth thoughts on that since I spoke to them today - up to 2 years for it to heal:scared1:.

DCL will have a morning cliff diver tour that they worked out with the divers due to the early port time
Oh that's great! Thanks for the info!
