LOL My cats used to do that too! For such little things they sure could make a lot of racket.
Well, Andrew and Tom enjoyed your April Fool's gags.
Uggh.....................I finally got one of our renters out and they have left us a mess and a half. Went over yesterday to see what needs to be done over there. Dumpster already got delivered this morning and the locksmith will be there today. I don't know what you do to locks that you can't open from outside with your key, but you can work them inside with the key.

I had to climb in through the basement window. We ended up leaving it open last night--maybe someone went in and helped themselves to the ton (and I mean that) of trash and clutter they left. Half the basement and attic are piled with trash almost to the ceiling. May end up taking 2 dumpster loads. At least we didn't have to go through eviction with them, now I just have to go through the court to try to recoup my March rent and damages. And here I was thinking I could see a light for some play time on here.
We've been redoing our half bath, new vanity and toilet. Need to get the plumber here this week to get them installed. Alan put up crown moulding and new baseboards and had to tile where the old vanity was took down the wallpaper and painted the walls. It will look great when it is finished. The new vanity has a beautiful vessel sink. I told him I knew what he was going to be doing next winter--redoing the other 3.
Also ordering a product called EON to replace all our decking boards. We had it expanded about 5 years ago and our contractor used Choice Deck (composite) and I have hated it since it was installed. The 2 worst things about it is that he used the wrong screws and it really has a mold/mildew problem. Alan has to powerwash it several times a season. So it is not what we consider maintenance free. But the deck itself is wonderful and we get a lot us use out of it. So we are going to relocate the steps this time and expand the concrete patio underneath. Adam is dreaming of a pool in the backyard, but that isn't going to happen.
My remodeling at the store has been VERY scaled down--I never could work out with public works about leaving all my existing entrances--they wanted to close a main one. So we are just tearing down existing interior walls and not expanding the existing footprint of the store. My new dispensers are in and will be installed right after Derby. This will take 2 weeks and we are having a new facade put on the store at the same time. So NO GAS for 2 weeks--YIKES! But it will be a great improvement when that is finished. My extension to my beverage bar is being installed tomorrow--so we have been moving things around inside to have the room for that.
Visited a college for Adam to start in January 09. If he ends up there he will live at home while going, but it will be $4800 a quarter + class fees.

If he goes for his associates it will be a year and half program. We still need to check out the community college and see about their business program. I am glad we put some $$ back for him to go to college

, just not enough.
Thunder over Louisville is April 12th and then Derby is 3 weeks after that--so work will be keeping me busy as well. Anyone coming to Louisville for the Derby?
We also jumped ship and will taking the Grandour of the Seas for 10 nights during Thanksgiving. Only Alan and I

--we are looking forward to that. Adam didn't want to go. It will be some different ports for us.
Man, I think I wrote a book

Just wanted to let you all know, if anyone pm's me for the Secret Mickey, I might not answer very quickly. The Emerald man is busy working on cruises and he is still working on ours--I will pass information when I receive it from him. I hope we are not too worn out by the time August gets here. 20 more Mondays sure makes it seem closer, doesn't it?
And by the way anyone have any free time? I have a nice guest room

Have a great day and I will check in when I can with you all
