Ugh! I can't sleep!

We went out with friends for a late dinner after Kylie's soccer game, and now I'm paying for it!

Good news is....Kylie's team won, and she scored 2 goals! Yay!

Deanna, hope you finally got some sleep. I have been having horrible insomnia for the last several nights. Congrats to Kylie's team and her goals

I just got off of the phone with Disney Weddings...I have been informed that my vow renewal is the 18th (which is okay) but..at 5:30 p.m.! I have early seating. I am not going to Palo that night as we have a DD11 and I would like to celebrate with my family and DD. I told her that we have early seating...she said that there is only a 4:00 p.m. and a 5:30 (takes about an hour)..I said I would like the 4:00 p.m. She informed me that it was taken. I asked what I could do..she said nothing! I asked if I could speak to someone..she said it was decided at DCL..I said I would call them..she said that it wouldn't change anything. She will req. a 4:00 for me but I won't know until the cruise

I called DCL ..they said the time is decided by Disney Weddings! and that if I missed dinner..I could eat at the buffet! Just picture me..wedding dress..DH tuxedo..and daughter all dressed up in line at the buffet...

Anyways..I know..I should be happy I am on the cruise but with what the vow renewal is costing us..I would have liked to celebrate with my family at dinner and not in the buffet line.

.... I bet the Rest manager for your rotation could arrange a one time swap of dining venue for you if the vow renewal ends up in conflict. If not - then just tap the doors to a couple dozen of your DIS neighbors and we'll form an "angry mob" to go back and request an adjustment for you!

And if that doesn't work then I'd be happy to SWAP tables with your family so you can get a later dining opportunity. Assuming they would allow that! Of course, this may mean you'd get an evening to dine with my BIL and FIL!.... < wink >​

You're part of our group right? We will be requesting the 6pm seating.

So even if you arrive at 6:30...You have a few days to "warn the wait staff" and i'm sure they can work something out... You may have to choose your meals quickly but it might be able to be done....

Or i'll run down or up (depending on if you're deck 7 or in the lounge) a menu for you to order off of...

Sorry Desiree that DCL will not be able to help with your time. I was thinking about having an official vow renewal for our 40th but after your problems .....I guess we will just be content just to have my TOAL with DH.

I am part of the group I guess that's what I am worried about..disturbing people with arriving late...maybe if I bring the rest of the wedding cake and champagne..my tablemates will forgive me! Of course...I will check out the menu early and maybe one of my nice tablemates will order for us!

We went to DL on Monday and found our embarkation ears! They are pirate Mickey ears with the POC logo on the front! Matches our shirts!

of course..at first I said..I'll get them next time I come but then common sense hit me on the head (thank goodness) and we purchased them! FYI - if anyone is interested in them..I only saw them at the pirate store outside of POC. I asked the cast member if they would have them for awhile (they were getting a little low) and she said she had no idea

If you really want them..let me know and I will pick them up for you.. they are $15.00 each and have two one-size-fits-all sizes.. Youth and Adult.

I am curious what the additional research will be.....

In this case I expect they have to contact the Vatican and find out if holding a Mass onboard would represent a potential violation of their trademark or intellectual property. I'm sure after a quick review by their legal department everything will work out magically (except, of course, for those who believe anything magic is actually satanic, in which case I apologize for my choice of words).

I just got offf with DCL and actually got an answer. The buses from LAX to the port will be leaving at 9 am or until filled to San Pedro!!! I might not even have to go back to LAX from my Marriott Hotel. Looks like the bus will pick us up there!! The CM read me the entire information given to him.

I was also told they are aware of all the problems on the web site. It will take about two more weeks til all the problems are solved. We can only hope!!!

Being in the software business, I can translate the phrase "about two more weeks til all the problems are solved".

In English it roughtly translates into "don't hold your breath, we have serious doubts that it will ever work correctly."

Seriously, that is one of the funniest comments I've ever heard from DCL, as I have never met any piece of software where the statement "all the problems are solved" was even remotely close to the truth.

Before heading back to the ship, stop by Cabo’s hot spot, owned by Sammy Hagar for a shot of Tequila or just some fun with the Pirates

Learn cool terminology, get some exercise after two weeks of all you can eat sailing and have a great time with the Pirates Castaway Cay Rugby Tournament. This will take place on the beach.
