Interesting and confusing reading.................guess we will have to wait and see what happens. I just know that I am really looking forward to this port.

Tina, I have been wondering about you all. Hopefully after you get settled into your new home you can start following the dr.'s orders. I hope Chuck likes his new job. Sounds like you have a busy week ahead of you. Lots of exciting changes going on.:goodvibes

I won't complain about being busy because I am so THANKFUL that we got the house & Chuck got a job.:goodvibes As far as Doctor goes it might be too late for that.:rolleyes1 It's gonna be fun going through security with a metal pin through your toe. :rotfl2:

Speaking of which............My Airtran story............I already got our flights from Orlando to Chicago. They are a Non-Refund airline so the woman on the phone told me a dozen times.:rolleyes1

All I wanted to do was change my flight and I would pay the 30.00 difference. I wasn't even complaining about the 225.00 in cancel fees. They wanted to give me a credit for a future flight, good for one year and they charged me full price for my flight one way flight on March 10th.

What burns me is I cancelled my one flight and created the new flight at the same time because I wanted the adjusted difference. Airtran DOESN'T even fly to Myrtle Beach!!!! I have to fly into Charlston 2 hours away !!!

I finally got it straightened out after being on the phone for an hour and they finally talked with a supervisor. We still don't have flights to LA yet but good news is we decided to drive home from Orlando instead of flying so no dealing with the luggage issues!!!

Sorry so long, needed to vent, did. done and I am over it now.

Oh! Tom (31b),

Is it true that you will be playing the part of Gibbs on the TOAL?

If so, thanks, we really need a Gibbs.

Are you going to grow a set of mutton chops?

It is getting late and I did not have much time for this but could not resist.

Although the wenches would probably prefer the more relaxed Mr. Gibbs.

:wizard: if we could not stop in Cartegena, I wonder where DCL would consider?

Sea day perhaps? Wonder if they would consider making a stop at Panama?

Flights are one of the pitfalls of planning a trip so far in advance. Driving shouldn't be too bad for you. So is Chuck going to working in GA? and you in Myrtle Beach?

Hello Everyone :wave2:
I am taking a short MUCH overdue break to Dis a little. My foot is not helping things but then again I am not able to follow the doctor's orders either.:rolleyes1

My update: Chuck's last day was Friday, he left this morning to Georgia to get settled in his place to start his new job tomorrow. Meanwhile I am packing, cleaning and everything else. We load the truck Sat. morning where I will stay at a hotel for 2 days and fly out Monday morning to our brand new home in Myrtle Beach !!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

My Doctor will see me again on the 4th and I will have to find a foot Doctor down in SC where he will transfer records. He took alot of bone out and recovery is still looking like 5 months hopefully not in this BOOT !!!

Geez I miss chat one night & I miss all this???? I didn't know you were moving south Tina! Best of luck with the move & I hope your foot is better soon! :wizard:

lright so now I've seen just about all. What's next? A bunny dressed for St Paddys day?

Come on I dare somebody to come up with a green live image bunny!

maybe I shouldn't dare this group? :rolleyes1:

I know we have some math experts here so I was wondering if somebody can help DD & I. Her & I both get the same answer...which is wrong! :headache:

Solve the following by the linear combination method.

3x-y=14
-3x+4y=-6

I used to be able to do these (I liked maths at school) but I can't for the life of me remember how anymore. Heck, I use a calculator to add and subtract everything now. :rotfl2:

‘Alba’ is a transgenic albino rabbit: She contains a jellyfish gene that makes her glow green when illuminated with the correct light. Alba was created by French scientists who injected green fluorescent protein (GFP) of a Pacific Northwest jellyfish into the fertilized egg of an albino rabbit.

Thank you. But now seeing your work, I'm going to have to make some modifications to improve mine. LOL.

I'm positive they will be. They were alreayd freaking out with Jack, Elizabeth and Tia. Now they are going to have a huge contingent of pirates.

Hee Hee Hee - I was there to see that! Now I feel special! But the question is - are you all prepared to be stopped? And never forget the look on DCL's CJS - priceless and almost not in the pictures at all!

Sorry guys - we peeped!

:rotfl2: Although I think he scared himself! :lmao:

OMG! I just read about this in a novel by Michael Crichton called Next . Really scary now that this is posted. The book was listed as fiction but with elements of truth, in it its got a flourescent turtle, an ape that speaks in 3 languages and a talking parrot. Other than that - pretty interesting reading. I have it on cd if anyone is interested. Must read for those with a scientific mind. A bit of fluff for the mind with a dose of humanity in it.

 ..ok, pbager, it's that stupid crash diet!..that's right ,

i'm pointing the wand..@ crash, what a great shipmate~:wizard:

:wizard: if we could not stop in Cartegena, I wonder where DCL would consider?

When my DS and BIL did a Panama Cruise a few years ago - they had a scheduled stop in Cartegena. It got changed to a sea day at the last minute due to the political climate. My BIL was really surprised that we had Cartegena as a Port call. I fully intend on us doing a history tour at this Port. Who knows if we'll get a chance to go again.
