Since you have all been so sympathetic to my saga...I'm happy to report that my kid's passports arrived yesterday!

You got sympathy here? Unusual... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Glad to hear you won't need to go "Postal"

BTW it's official...

Was this something the group visiting this week could scout out?

Already got you covered. I'm going to walk from HoJo to the park entrance with my pedometer. Along the way, snap pictures of the gift shops. All the while crossing my fingers hoping that no one thinks I'm stalking the places.

Just thought I would post the new Castaway Gifts!!! Any comments??

Well since this is only my 2nd DCL cruise, this will be my first CC gift. It's fine. I think all I got from RCCL was postcards and maybe some shopping coupons, I can't remember exactly.

sad, but true, I've x-rayed most of those objects during my ER years.

It's got to be hard to keep a straight face.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

That stinks Monica.
Would a fireman cheer you up?
:firefight

That's just crazy!

We had this whole thing going on in our school also. We eat pretty decent at home and I am all for having healthy choices available at school. We got a letter banishing cupcakes, etc. from kids birthdays and class parties. HA! I sent in cupcakes and told the teach that I would find an alternative when the school stopped calling nachos and mozzarella sticks a lunch entree.

Pizza and Tater Tots. I guess the Taters are the veg group.

Thanks for the support. I do know that his illness can't be used against me. But I feel like if I hadn't had so much time off and been so distracted, I'd be performing better at the job. Then again performance really doesn't play that much of a part. Last time around I was the top performer but still got targetted for lay offs because I was not working on any of the front burner projects.

we never feel secure at work either. Just 1 bad call and the dreaded box!!!!!

Hope it works out. You have been thru enough.

Monica, hate to ask you more, but are there any car rentals around there. If I decide to rent at the airport, I'd like to know who is nearby to drop it off. Thanks.........

While Liz is away being a proud Mom :goodvibes Here is the weather

Currently 72 sunny and low 56 tonite.

No full-fat nanners are ok...i malasorb fat remember?

Ok but only after i can fit into those super slim dresses i ordered from target.

LOL. I printed my receipt for my dresses and noticed I had until May to return them. May hold on to them a bit for incentive. There's a chance I may be able to fit into them by TOAL.

In July 2006 we got 2 very nice embrodiaried bags from RCCL.

While we are posting gifts, here is the stuff we got for the 5th anniversary of the card. I thought I'd put it on my cruise chair . We got a tote,(whch Mickey signed for us) fuzzy Mickey blanket which most of us put to use at work, :) a lanyard,Disneyland pin, Mickey Pin, Stitch pin, gift card and a litho. The gift card will be put towards the TOAL.

Crash, hope your family finally recovers from this flu. I tend to agree with Alicia about not pumping in antibiotics when not necessary. I know it's hard to watch them suffer so.

All of the companies have locations within about a mile of DL and HoJo.

There's an Alamo in Downtown Disney, 1565 S Disneyland Dr.
Avis is about 1 mile from HoJo on 200 W Katella.
Enterprise is right next to Avis, 231 W Katella. Also one at the Convention Center, 777 Convention Way. I believe Enterprise has free pick up, but they charge a lot for dropping off at a different location.
National/Alamo is also on Katella, but a few blocks in the other direction, 711 W Katella.
Budget is at 2132 S Harbor (probably near the Convention Center) and advertises free pick up.
Dollar is at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel, 1700 Harbor Blvd.
Hertz has locations on 221 W Katella and 700 Convention Way

maybe someone can do one of those google maps. I haven't ever done one before.

FYI - I just called pronto limo to get pricing from LAX to the DT.
The Excursion would be $125.00 and the stretch limo would be $153.50.
That is not a huge amount more than Super Shuttle but not sure what we will do. I am leaning towards SS as if a driver is not there, there are a lot of other drivers they could get. If the limo does not show up- not good.

I just got reminded that DS is not fully cleared for all activities. We have a follow up on the 24th with the neurosurgeon for hopefully the final check up on his skull fracture. DS is not supposed to swim until after March 22 but I totally forgot about that. I was going to let him swim this weekend at DL. Now I'm even wondering about the roller coasters. He does still get headaches at times when he runs and plays too hard. Guess I'll have to be sure to pack the tylenol and dramamine.
