Ok we have been married for over 32 years and we have always celebrate Valentine's Day the Saturday before..lol......... With our work schedules it was just easier.. :goodvibes

"Welcome to DCL, all CM's are busy right now....blah,blah....

It's small world after all............blah, blah

Hi, ho, hi, ho its off to work......blah, blah"

Sure was glad that the online booking was available last year.

Happy booking anniversary everyone.

Where do I go to see the Disney Dresses? They are beautiful! Unfortunately I do not have the upper half to support the Jasmine or the Ariel, but I would love to see the other dresses.

It's all about the infrastructure. and maybe a little duct tape.

www.disneybridal.com - look in the Maidens section for bridesmaids dresses.

Come on M! What kind of wench are you:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, I do like jewlery, and pretty dresses, and figure skating, and pina coladas.

This all reminds me that I need to go 'visit' the Ann Taylor little black dress I want for semi-formal night. Maybe the price has gone down enough for me to buy it.

In theory I should be, but with the delay in the adoption of the federal budget, that has been pushed back to sometime between June and August.....

(and if it happens to be end of August... not me!)

Right now DC seems to be my only destination, another 2 day trip Mon/Tues next week and again mid-march for a week

Give me a call if you have time for lunch or coffee.

CRASH - make sure you let Kristina & me know if you are headed to DC. We can have a mini-meet.

I did not have trouble booking the cruise I was able to do 2 reservations within an hour of opening .. on line.. :goodvibes :goodvibes

I do not know if I was just lucky.. but got tier 1....:goodvibes

I lucked out too. I was booked online about 35 minutes after they opened - with a room number and everything.

Disney dresses...disneybridal.com has alot of them as well....my wedding dress is one of them and I found the price comprable to other wedding dresses. Not necesarily uped because it was a "disney" dress....

Have a great day everyone!

Chrissie

OH! OH! Which one did you get???

Wow! Within the first 35 minutes you might have gotten tier 1 - IMPRESSIVE,....

Abd as for DC - if we go ta DC we'll be sure ta bring ya some token California treats.

OK... I here's my 3rd posting of the day...

cnnumbers.gif

I remember a few days prior to that fateful booking day that I was stressing thinking most of my group would not try to book this when the reservation lines opened up -so they were going to get far different pricing and possibly it would have been a constant "bear" trying to coordinate cabin locations and such. SO in the final days leading up to this I choose a terriffic TA who was referred to me by a DIS neighbor here - and in the morning I slept IN. I was awakened by the call from a friend who was among the few in our group who were booking thier own directly and she was stressing cuz she got bumped off the first attempt and on the 2nd attempt to book the price had already jumped some. From that point on I remember tracking / recording the various prices for the varied catagories because I was curious how it would progress - and I wanted to find out in my own way if our TA had boked us into early morning pricing or later morning pricing. it turns out we mostly got what we think was tier 2... and a couple of tier 1 maybe. I recall seeing folks in a frenzy online - it was certainly an INTERESTING morning... to say the least.

OK... time to go again...

awww... who am i kidding? I'm gonna try to cathch up a little on the old recent postings fer a few minutes now...

Yes duct tape can be used for a lot of things (a friend of mine uses it on her toddlers diapers so that he can not tear them off). In my case I don't think that the duct tape shoulder straps would go with the beautiful dress - perhaps I could get the dress in silver. This could work! :rotfl:
Thanks for the website.

Before our original thread was taken away, I had looked through the posts from booking day. It took me back to the moment. I could instantly recall the panic I was feeling when, after holding on the phone line for a while, it went dead. I called back.....several times, getting busy, busy, busy....when I finally got through again I was told I had a wait time of something like 2 hours....I can't remember exactly. Anyway, as luck would have it, I was only on hold for maybe 25-30 min and a CM picked up the line. I had a ressie to transfer, so I didn't want to do it online.....I think many of us were in that situation.

I remember watching this thread moving so fast as I sat on hold. People reporting back the cabins they booked and prices. Then people saying what tier pricing was now at....catagories already sold out, etc. I just kept thinking "I'm not going to get a cabin.....they are going to be sold out by the time they take my call". And someone (I think it was Pamela) kept posting that she could not even get through on the phone....she got busy signals for hours, I believe.

I didn't make my first post to the thread until later that day. I wanted to talk it over with dh first.

I also remember telling the kids when they came home from school that we were going. They were jumping up and down screaming!

It's really fun to think back about that day now, but that morning was not fun!

Good Morning! Wow! I can't believe it was a year ago today that we booked. I guess I had it real easy compared to some. Went online at 8am and had my ressie at 8:15am! Thankfully the site didn't crash! Now I'm all paid and have all but our airfare out to CA.

Time flies when your having fun!

See Below: Am trying to avoid the papparazzi...;)
My nickname back home was "Grace"....seriously.
Mine was gay (OMG)!!:rotfl2: I guess neither one of us live up to our nicknames.

Ahem.......allow me to introduce myself.....my name is Laura and I'm a Lose-A-Phone Addict. And if I don't lose it - I'm a victim of theft so its not really my fault.........OK, I admit it - I need help!"

(DS wants to know why I pay for a phone that I am always losing or leaving behind and wants to know if he can donate to some homeless person. )

I told you we had lots in common!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

See, the difference between me and Cheryl is that while I also love a bargain, I HATE shopping! Hey Cheryl, if I send you my sizes, can you just buy some stuff for me? :)

It is the excitement of the hunt that is the most fun.:woohoo: :woohoo: John would love for me to spend other peeps money!!!:lmao: :lmao:

My formal was from Nordstrom and the orginal price was $350 and I paid............$37 with the tax!!!! I will post picture next week.:flower3:

We were on the magic sailiing to Castaway Cay :cloud9: and just by chance had asked for a PC crossing quote and was quite surprised that after seeing the quote we found ourselves putting down the deposit. Then we sat back and enjoyed the rest of our cruise. Only until we came home did we realize what frenzy there was. We feel lucky to have been on the ship and it was sort of one of those things that fall into your lap - it was meant to be!:dance3:

I was not so lucky with the easy booking...............but at least I am on the TOAL!!!:dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

Congratulations to all of us!!!!!

This is what it felt like when I got my reservation!!!
