I just noticed that we're supposed to leave Cabo at 4:30pm - doesn't give us a lot of time !!!!

Plenty of time to have 2 or 3 or maybe 10 shots ....

We should be back by 2. Not a whole lot of time, but we should be able to enjoy for a bit.

The past couple of days, Hazel and I have been busy setting Angelina's high school graduation party up. I never knew how much planning such a party takes. We got the hall reserved, the party announcements ordered and have started checking into food and decorations. I'm glad we still have 5 months to get ready for the party.

Angelina is driving us nutso trying to select the "perfect dress" for the Senior Prom as well............

Adam's party will be at our house.

Oooh nooo! I just realized that we are going to be on the ship while the swimming olympics are going on! I am going to have to hide that from my lads or I'll never get them to agree to go!

Will there be a place they can go and watch it on TV?

I didn't realize the Olympics were on during the TOAL. Guess I'll just have to miss most of them this time around.

My company is a big sponsor of the Olympics this year. We've got this neat digital countdown clock (down days, minutes, seconds) displayed in the cafeteria. I use it as my own TOAL countdown clock, just have to add 10 days to it. Olympics = 8/8/08, TOAL = 8/18/08............ooops...TOAL = 8/17/08

I wonder if they will show any of it up on the dumbotron? Last January, I was worried that I would miss the Bear's Playoff game and not only did I get to see it, but I saw it on the huge screen - it was great!

I thought it was a little pricey at first too , but then I started to think about the fact of all you can eat , front of the line passes and al the extra bonus stuff and we decided that this was a good way for us to go ..

I'm booking this tour for August 11. I'm doing the Backstage Magic tour (on DVC signing points) on August 12, so this will be a fun way to kick off the TOAL. It should be great.

We're flying in on the Friday before the TOAL. I expect to get in later in the afternoon. As of right now we're planning to do DL on Saturday.

1. Can I get a giant rice krispie treat on main street?

2. Last time we were at the world we could not ride the three mountains because space mountain was down. DS10 was very, very disappointed. So, what's our best strategy for riding the three mountains @ DL, on a Saturday in August?

1 = YES. In fact, if you want to get one Friday night, just walk over to Marceline's (candy store) in Downtown Disney.

2 = Get there at opening, go straight to Space Mountain, grab Fastpass, get in line and ride it. (Twice if you want to). Head over to Big Thunder, ride, get Fastpass if your time for Space has already passed. Go ride Splash. You will have time to add a few other rides in between. You don't have to be too commando about it.

FASTPASS TIP = Many people, even DL and WDW veterans, don't know this. It's more so at DL than WDW, but, you do not have to use your Fastpass in the exact timeframe printed. You cannot get in the FP line any sooner than stated but you can return ANY time after, even later that evening. Often we will collect up our Fastpasses and just get in the standby lines early in the day. Later, when crowds are bad, we get to ride all the E-ticket rides because we've saved up our FPs.
