I've had a little experience with that in Cozumel. Sort of.

Mini-golf on land. Lunch and ditch the nephew on ship. Carlos & Charlies on land. Pirate Dinner on ship. Carlos & Charlies on land. Return to the ship with 10 minutes to spare.

Sounds fun Jennifer You could have stayed at least 9 more minutes at C&C

Cheryl - you and the other super-shopping ladies can be proud of me! My mother dragged me out shopping today and I survived 2 hours of shopping and trying on stuff ........

Oh yes - I "saved" $95 at Carson's and $54 at Von Maur (Not that I would EVER pay full price at either store!)

I wish we only had to go that far. I have to get us back to Canada (westcoast) and onto the island for school starting on Tuesday morning. My DS starts highschool as well - won't be cool to miss the first day in a new school.

Which of course will then lead to fudging which WE ALL know where that gets us - into (nagging) which the men don't like because they then end up in the house.

Yes it will be crowded. But I am so looking forward to walking around the park and seeing everyone. I think Julie was planning on reserving some space for Fantasmic. I could help with that since seeing the park is not my priority.

I LOVE when there's others visiting at the same time as I am and you just happen to bump into them. You would think that with such a huge crowd in the park that woudln't happen, but it does.

Yes, Monica, we should try to arrange an informal get-together at Fantasmic, either Friday night or Saturday night -- either is fine for me, but some might not be there Friday while some might not want to do anything too late on Saturday . . . if we had you and me and a few others together, spread out a bit, we could end up with a nice get-together!

Bad Andy here...........

When the old thread was removed and the new started I was very busy with the 10/24/09 thread and getting ready for the DCL House Party. By the time I came across this new thread it was already moving at the speed of light and I lurked on it from time to time, but I just couldn't keep up, so I didn't bother posting.

Anywho, we had a GREAT time at the DCL House Party Saturday night. We were the first ones to arrive at 7pm and the last to leave around midnight. The hosts of our party "allears" did an amazing job as you will be able to see with the link below of the pics I took. The food spread was AWESOME!!!

During the DCL DVD that was sent in the party boxes I noticed a segment that was filmed during our August 2006 cruise. The segment showed my mom and I walking behind Rick Adams the DVD MC just as the ship's horn was sounding. We all got a chuckle out of that, the party host even ran the DVD back so we could see that part again......

American Idol is getting ready to come on, so I'm going to sign off or now. I hope y'all enjoy the party pics!!!

I was floored today (not by 3 tequillas...lightweights!Lol )One of the kids that I have taught for 3 years said something that absolutely SHOCKED me! He is a kids who has had it a bit rough,behavioral issues due to home stuff and being held back in school (when really didn't need to be)....We seemed to clash alot when he was in my group....because of it(the issues)....but today he said I was his favourite teacher....and gave me a hug....

I just noticed that we're supposed to leave Cabo at 4:30pm - doesn't give us a lot of time !!!!

It's true -- but Cabo isn't as bad as Acapulco! And at least most of the things at Cabo aren't too far from the ship . . .

Actually the opening is 8/8/08, so quite a lot will occur before the cruise starts . . . and I'm sure they will be showing it somewhere on the ship, as someone said (but I lost that quote!)

The wrestling goth girl with the laugh! The guy who kept forgetting the words! The guy with the presents at the beginning! I think this show has reached a new low (high?) . . .

They go from the 8th until the 24th. I heard that it was less than 200 days on the news, so I looked it up and noticed we would miss quite a few days of the swimming. It was a big deal in '04 here for my guys. They took turns at different swim team members houses to watch it!

Lisa - haven't been in a while (several months) but Space Mountain has always been a long line one. And it does goes down often. Splash Mountain usually is pretty good to go on late at night - no line. If your staying on-site - take advantage of early entry and run.

Although - I've heard and while not a Mountain ride -that the Finding Nemo ride is still hard to get into too. Long lines and such.

If you can't find the Rice Krispies treat in DL you can find them at CA Adventure and also there is a bakery just outside the entrance to the ticket booths that might sell it. Also - there is Marciano's Bakery????? that sells them too. Someone else might come along that can confer this - I haven't been to the parks since December in the beginning.
