Elizabeth could have gotten her license. Almost a year ago but we didn't feel she was ready. She even has a new car and it is waiting for her but I won't let her drive it until we feel she isn't a hazard to those on the road.

Good for you:thumbsup2
How does she feel about that ? Is she giving you a hard time ?

I'm pretty much recovered from my surgery. Got the all clear to return to work on Monday. (not sure I'm too happy about that LOL).

We have a family meeting at 4pm today. Depending on the outcome of that, he may come home with us then, or spend one more night at the group home to adjust to the idea of coming home.

Monica, glad your feeling better:grouphug:

Happy Birthday, Gabrielle!

Good morning everyone!

I can't believe i have over 20 pages to catch up on. Well with this crew I'm not surprised.

Today is our youngest daughters Birthday. Gabrielle is turning 9. She asked me to make pancakes and a penguin Birthday cake for her. Penguins are her passion. She wants to be a marine biologist and save endangered penguin species.

Have a good day. I'll try to post a pick of my penguin cake. Working today also.:)

What a great age:thumbsup2 My daughter Kelly is 10 and she loves wolves.

Did she find anything Stace? Does she have any idea what kind of style she wants?

Everyone found something that fits well and looks good. Each of the bridesmaids are wearing the same color, but different style of dress, because they range in size from 00 to 26......and the setting is in a chapel in a really pretty wooded area, so I think they all did great with their choices. And yes, the bride, too.

How about that?

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Perfect ...Maybe add the link to the website :confused3

How about removing the Poll ...The Mods are going to do what they are going to do , lets not add any fuel to the fire

 My 14 year old is already talking about when he gets his driver's license and watching us as we drive:rolleyes:
It's going to be quite a while before I'm comfortable with him driving:guilty:
How long did it take before you felt Dylan was ready ?

I think Dylan has been ready for awhile , he turns 16 in April , but he didnt pass today so now he has to wait 60 days before he can go again ...Oh well ...should have studied harder ...

I was hoping that they'd disappeared forever. NOW you know why I'm NOT upset about the vanishing previous thread.

Think I will make a t shirt of these pics and wear them at Disneyand in March ...LOL

I agree with getting rid of the poll, personally . . .

Must be a west coast thing, because here I am all by myself again.

I kept telling myself I wasn't going to say another word about the thread "disappearing" but I never listen to anyone, even myself.

Best to skip this if you don't want to hear (what I hope is my final!) my opinion.

These Boards ARE NOT paid for by Disney...the ones with the big bucks....
The "powers that be" on the Boards have to sometimes make decisions that are good for the majority....not just a few threads.

I really don't see what the big deal is about the larger threads being closed (and even disappearing) when there are no restrictions on starting a new one.
Was anyone REALLY going to go back and read all those pages anyway??

Now is the time to really start planning for the cruise, and an opportunity to have some really pertinent information on here without it getting buried under tons of fluff.
While I enjoyed the "Pirate Runs" as much as the next person, the idea wasn't a competition to see which thread could have the most posts. If that's the case, this one already won that easily.....time to move past that.

I think this is a great chance for anyone new joining in to really be able to feel a part of the group & gather some good info from everyone here, rather than be intimidated by the post count. If they put the original thread back, then fine...if not...oh well.....

So....can we just PLEASE let it go, and move on??

Okay....donning my flame-resistant suit, shutting my mouth & sitting on my hands.

My DS was such a mess. It was a while til I let him drive on his own. I actually saved him from a ticket :scared1: He was pulled over at night accused of speeding!!!. The officer saw me and I let him have it.
Told him if I saw him exceeding the speed limit, he wouldn't be sitting next to me!!! He then recanted and said the back light for the license plate was missing to which we showed him we already had a replacement in the bag next to us.

My bridesmaids all had different dresses. It was the Summer ,colors were yellow and white, and finding the same dress for every shape was more difficult than we thought it would be. I just let them pick what they wanted and it worked out better than I expected.
