8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #15 /Life After the PC

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I really thought about including myself in the zipline, but the anxiety was awful:rolleyes: After weighing the disappointment in being left out with the anxiety and fear of going,
I settled on chips and a pina colada at the bar:cool1: With Pamela and Chris to hang with:cool1: :cool1:
I somehow missed a few others that day (Enna and Julie and her gang:confused3 ) But I had fun anyway.

You should have joined us at the bar instead of ziplining.
My Mom is also afraid of flying and I've developed that fear as well:guilty:

Now I found xanax to just make me sleepy, so I was sleepy and anxious on the plane. I guess it did calm down the pounding heart and sweaty palms though:laughing:

I was kicking myself for forgetting my bonine for the Jolly pirate excursion. DCL has so spoiled me (with those stabilizers) that I've been forgetting it:headache:

Now Jon would have been all for hanging out at a bar! LOL!!!!

Laurie, I am sorry that you had problems on the smaller boat. I know the feeling!! I wear a patch on the ship to keep me from getting motion sick.

If only she wasn't so darn skinny already!! She'll be weighed next week and I'm hoping for a gain over the last time a couple months ago....

Is there a fingers crossed smilie????? I KNOW this feeling!!!! We weigh Claire all the time........ She is 7 1/2 (her b-day is July 1st) and weighs 38lbs.....
I tell her that God is keeping her tiny because he knew she would be my last baby and I wanted her *cuddle size*. ;)

Ok, we're booked for the March Disneyland Meet. Staying at HoJo's. Will be arriving noonish on Friday, leaving Sunday afternoon.

I used to have a horrible problem with motion sickness, but not in several years:confused3

Bonine works well for me, when I remember to bring it:rolleyes1
That day it was sitting in my cabin, not with me on the pirate boat:rolleyes:

I probably would have been ok, except for the combo of empty stomach, sea water and rum punch (or punched rum):upsidedow

That was an excellent excursion though.
Thank you to whomever suggested the Jolly Roger Pirate ship:thumbsup2

Us too:thumbsup2

Wishing they put that Disney theme park here in VA now:rolleyes:

A few years back there was a rumor going around that they were going to put one in Houston -- probably started by someone in Houston! :lmao: .
I still think they could do something there....and Galvaston Port is VERY close to Houston........ ;)

The folks around here didn't want a Disney park. Afraid of what it would do to the area:confused3
I'm sure my family would visit more if there was a park here...maybe it's good that there isn't one now that I think of it:idea:

I'm soooo jealous:sad2:
We want to see pics afterwards:yay:

If there are any scrapbook people around.
I had another class last night. Not finished gluing everything on, but when I do it will look like this:

Now we just need snow:rolleyes1

Phew what a day. So I woke this morning still feeling really bad as I have for the past week. So I went to urgent care and came home diagnosed with bronchitis and pink eye in both eyes. No wonder I wasn't getting better! At least I have antibiotics now so hopefully I'll get better and not worse. If it triggers my asthma I'm in big trouble since I'm pregnant!

We gave Sydney a piece of cake for her birthday (2 today!) with 2 candles. She wanted to keep blowing out the candles and wanted nothing to do with the cake! *sigh* someday she'll want to eat!

Terri hope you're feeling better soon:hug:
When are you due:confused3

That's really nice Laurie. Linda got a Cricut for Christmas, and I've been playing around with it too. Maybe someday we'll actually get around to making a scrapbook page.

Mike, the woman who made the kits for the class used a Cricut to make many of the letters and shapes.
I'm just learning now- following someone else's lead and design.
Eventually I'll get confident enough to make a scrapbook for last year's TOAL:rolleyes:
I just didn't want to ruin the cool page kits I got at the scrapbook meet.
Now at least I know which glue to use:woohoo:

Gonna ask Santa for a Cricut next Christmas:idea:

Thanks! I am feeling much better now! Turns out Sydney is also sick now too :( I took her in on Tuesday for pink eye (like mom) and she also has an ear infection. So we're taking the same drugs right now.

I'm 16 weeks, due July 2nd. Haven't seen a Dr yet (Love NM healthcare....) but I feel fine except for this bronchitis! Baby's kicking like crazy already! We see the OB on Monday and have genetic counseling and ultrasound scheduled for Friday (a week from tomorrow). Finally got them to realize that we are high risk because of everything with Sydney and they should be doing something!!

Yeah, that pink eye does tend to travel through families very quickly:rolleyes:

Glad you are feeling the baby so strongly:thumbsup2 Having to wait until 18 weeks to see the doc and get an ultrasound would make me so nervous:guilty: Being your second though you know what you need as far as vitamins and stuff:confused3
Do they let you tape the ultrasound ? The radiaologist for my oldest told us to bring a blank tape (private ins), but the one for my DD wouldn't let me (HMO):confused3
Let us know how everything goes:grouphug:

Yeah I think it depends on who does it and what equipment they have. With my last pregnancy, the first 2 ultrasounds we took a tape in. On the second one the guy apparently didn't hit "record" UGH! The later ultrasounds that we had, they would only give us a few pictures printed and on CD. We forgot to ask what these people do. I need to call so that we can take what we need :)

Yeah I'm getting lots of anxiety due to the issues we had with Sydney. I would probably feel better if we could actually see a Dr! We did see a nurse at about 8 weeks and got the big packet of stuff of what to do and what to avoid. And being my second pregnancy, at least I do have a good idea of what to expect.
