Ok, here is the thing I am 6'4 and Cherie is 5' well 1/4" maybe 1" on a good day so any of her stuff would be, well should I say TIGHT

And that would be appropriate.....

Now I am getting worried....almost still have everything to do today. But hey, that's the way I work best.

I do have a concern with the luggage. Since DH travels home to Egypt quite often, the luggage he borrowed seems a little big. They love to stuff luggage! I remember the first time we went, we traveled with a friend's mother . I guess there was no weight restiction then. Her suitcase was HUGE!! I mean literally over twice as big as a large bag.

US Air has a dimension limit too. Does anyone know how strict they are with this kind of thing. They say 62' total. Do they sit there with a measuring tape? THe one seems fine EMPTY, but the other seems over an inch or two, depending how you measure it. So much better to drive...

and finally last night as i was obsessing about another thing.. just gave them each $50 and said be good, don't fight and if all alse fails call my sister.

If anything happens. call 911, then your aunt and then me..

I am not sure how i am going to work today... I have so many things running through my mind and none of them relate to work at all..

That is ... unless we ever do that ROUND THE WORLD cruise I've sometimes day dreamed about.

My parents are doing basically that cruise next January but with Princess. 4 1/2 month cruise.

I'm just hoping this darn cold of mine lets up a little by tomorrow, cough, cough.

stuff in front of the suitcases is a good sign.. I am not there yet.. holding off packing so the cat doesn't get too upset..I brought the suitcase upstair last night and the cat has taken up living on the big one.. guess she wants to come on the TOAL too.. LOL

Actually I did somethings.. i made sure I had enough batteries for the camera and SD cards.. and put the LGMH on the luggage..

pick Austyn up form camp and take them to dinner (trash day today so we are eating out until we leave)
oh ya DIS every once and a while
All of that on my first day off after about 140 hours worked in the last 15 days.
Are we there yet??

Good moring all - sitting here at Orlando International waiting for our flight to LA. This is the best way to spend an hour and I don't even have to feel guilty for Dising and not cleaning and packing. Sent oldest DD and grandkids on their way home yesterday and went into super packing mode -- I had been stacking things up for a couple of weeks and don't even remember half of what I packed. Had to pay for an additional suitcase even with Southwest's 2 free policy. Told DH it was because of his new tux. Didn't even mention the number of shoes DD and I just had to have.

Can't wait to touch down in LAX -- it's a trip down memory lane for me -- I flew out of LAX for United almost 40 years ago. As I get older I forget the age but every once and a while when I have to remember who, what or when I did something -- that number just sounds impossible.

Well, think I'll go back to trying to catch up. See all you who are staying at the port today or tomorrow and the rest of you at the terminal. Safe and sane trips to all.

Good thing I was home at the moment when DCL called Krstina last night and I had your ressie number. I guess DCL was still working on our Ding Linking DCL wanted one of my table for the conerige.........but we got it instead!!!

Well there goes my day. A project manager just came into my office to tell me I have to put together an estimate for a project close out that needs to be done before I get back. I have been working on this project for almost 9 years and now it has to closed out before I get back. So today I get to do the cost/time estimate and next couple of weeks my staff gets to the fun job of pulling it all together. The Operations Lead told me she would have more sympathy for me if it weren't for the fact I was leaving on a two week vacation.

So guess I won't be on much more today and will check in tomorrow if there is anyone left. If not see everyone on Sunday.

Hi everyone! Greetings from Disneyland!!! We are finally here! Flight was pretty good, except for 2 hours of turbulance out of Chicago. Other wise everything went great. We got our first look at Disneyland! Our first ride? POTC of course. It is really different from the WDW version. We are at the DHL in the Magic building. Wear our wristbands. All our bags were here when we got to LAX! If anyone wants wristbands I do have extras.

Well it's off to Goofy's Kitchen. Going to Blue Bayou tonight.
Can't wait to meet you all!

We are in the final stretch here. Just last minute things to take care of. As if I didn't have enough to do, my ds spilled milk on the family room carpet so I had to shampoo it or else we may have come home to the smell of sour milk. YUCK!

Cab will come pick us up at 5pm to go to the airport, and we should arrive at Hojo by 11pm (hopefully!).

Thank you ALL so much for making this LONG wait so much more enjoyable! I am so excited to meet people in person.
