Funny thing is that I saw a commercial on TV today for Beverly Hills Chihuahua and it opens October 3rd. :confused3

Can't blame it on the toliet paper :lmao:

At least that won't be filling my bag for the return trip! :lmao:

hhhmmmm....... At the time I'm sure it was considered kind of ...depraved....but, I'm thinking that now a days it isn't any worse then a lot of stuff on TV.

But, for some reason I really liked it back then.

Maybe I should try to find dh's dvd of it and bring it with us! :rotfl2: I'll send the kids to the club/lab and we can have a movie watching party in our room.:rotfl:

I LOVE RHPS! I have seen it over 400 times (when I was younger) and often played parts in the front of the theater....ahh..the good ol days!

psssst.....

Its just a jump to the LEFT
And a step to the Ri-i-i-i-ight

Put your hands on your hips! And pull your knees in ti-i-i-ight!

Good old Frank!

We did that at RHPS too, Desiree....memories!

And then it was a big thing when my oldest was in high school. She was in drama, and would have all the theater kids over to watch it and dance to it at our house.

My brother called me earlier & said I got my passport, money & my lap top if I can't get the rest together, I'll just buy it :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I called him right back & told him he better not forget the door magnets he made for me. :lmao: :lmao:

DH actually went through some clothes and did some shopping also. The other day he came home with one pair of shorts that he has to take back.:rotfl2:

as of this minute there is an availability listed for Cat 9 - $6791.58 for 2 adults... in case anyone out there wants to jump on it - or at least feel great about how much less you paid for your OWN Cat 9 -
:lmao:

Wow!:scared1:

Good evening!

Just home from the EP...met lots of Dis'ers...home to get a good night sleep before heading out in the morning.

Hope everyone has arrived safely..for those traveling tomorrow - safe travels!

Now I know that everyone says flying is so much faster....but if I had driven like I wanted too I would be there now, not Sunday!!:sad2:

Glad everyone is having a blast!

Let's see, my HD cam uses tape, and I've got 8 spares. For the camera, I'm bringing 10x8Gig Xtreme-III, and the laptop, and a few double sided DVD's (just in case)

Andy

Gee.... 10x 8 gig EX III .... plus some dbl DVDs and the laptop.

I'm sort of new to this - and my thinking is pretty simplistic by comparison.

I have ONE 8 gig EX II (class 4) ... I don't have a dbl DVD burner so I'm relying on an 80Gig external HD which I had laying about. I kno... this only gives me 8 hours in HQ... but I was thinking I'd shoot in the low quality mode to allow me roughly 16 hours using 64 GB... allowing 8 GB for still image storage and 8GB for unused HD space. My notebook has no space which I'd use for major storage... the unallocated space is for working with files and swap.

I'm gonna need a bigger external HD... and if I had more time I would maybe go out and BUY one. But I'll try to conform to these limits. I'll have up to 1 hour a day to record while I'm traveling.

I think tomorrow will be used for strictly packing the whole day UNTIL I'M DONE! Well... actually, from 6PM to 9PM I have an AYSO referee refresher session (part 1) ... and then saturday I leave at 4:30AM to meet my family coming in from Hawaii. Then I drive one pair to their adjacent LAX hotel... then drive the other pair to GLENDALE ... about 30 minutes away from LAX to where they will be staying. With any luck I'll make it home by 8AM to attend part 2 of the referee refresher course running another 3 hours. Then I go home to collapse for a few hours. About 1PM I could/might drive back to LAX to meet up with more family members flying in from boston to hang and have dinner and drop my dog off to go to my sisters' for the duration of our travels... then we go home to sleep and pick up Alicia .. whom I expect to be furiously packing from friday evening til we have to go on sunday 8:30AM. Sunday... we hope to be at the port by 10AM with Alicia+ kids.... I turn around and get FIL + MIL from LAX.. pick up my friend who will folow us to port where he drops us off and takes my car to joy ride - drain my gas tank - and park my car at his place. When we land he'll pick us up from LAX and thus save us $240 in shuttle van fees... or $200 in parking expense. I might owe him lunch for this - but he actually owes me a thing or two... so I'm collecting. < wink >

So all that is in support of my NOT having much time left to shop for anything to add. The best thing I could get might be a spare battery and a slim and light high cap external hard drive. Instead I'll wing it with my smallest (physical and capacity) external HD + a notebook. If I carried another SDHD card I'd need another battery. Let me guess.. they're expensive with NO 3rd party alternatives?

Well..I already live here but if it makes you feel better..I dislike flying very much..so much so..that I am driving home from Fl...DH will fly...we are driving!

Will we ever see you relaxing on the cruise Tom??

That's a mighty long refresher course for little kids soccer!

I told DH today that I really am not the only one. He thought I was crazy wanting to drive and that it would be horrible for DDs to have to sit in the car for 4 days.

But it did get him to change his mind and come with us and I decided to bite the bullet. I still should have left Monday by myself...

If I'm not onboard you will know they kicked me off the plane!!:lmao:
