Here are some pictures from our adventures at Pinks yesterday with Chrissie and Brenden

Gee...

... sounds nice ta do the limo thing. I've only used one a couple times... yaannno.... when doing the business incentive thing.

I'm driving myself to the port - then I have one of my oldest friends (we go back near 40 years) ... I'll pick him up just before I let myself off at the port - and he'll take my car and park it at his place... he lives in nearby Torrance a block or so from the beach. Then on our return he'll pick us up at the airport with my car... I drop him back at home and I'll save a little scratch.

So ... no limo fer me this time....

Really the only reason is cause I am concerned about leaving our car or truck at the airport. My DH's truck sometimes his alarm has attitude and goes off. So, I don't want any problems. They had a problem when DD and I came from Oregon to here and it was going off. I want to save on money but we don't really know anyone that will take us to the airport, since we just moved here from Oregon.
Plus its like $85.00 more for a shuttle, so we just think it's better at this time. The kids have never been in one and we don't do this all the time.

It will be fun though...Can't wait to see their faces...

OBC's

I do like to pay OBC's in advance before getting ot the ship, it makes it feel better as its paid for, and you worry less about your account, plus I can choose the exchange rate time. A lot went on at $2 to the £ its fallen recently to below $1.90 to the £.

So you say out in your area the limo was a better rate then the shuttle companies? OK... I guess that's how it is in Colorado! You'll be havin' one of these pull up .... right?

PV Zip Line Taxi Sharing

There has been a little discussion on the PZ about meeting up and sharing taxis for getting over to the Los Veranos office. The plan is for anyone who wants to share, meeting up in the atrium (by the mickey statue) a little before Noon for the 1PM tour. Other groups may be arranging similar things, but the 1PM tour will definitely be doing it for any that are interested.

We figure it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to exit the ship to the taxi area, another 20 minutes to the Los Veranos office and they ask us to be there 20 minutes early on the confirmation.

But sshhhhh don't tell Robert... its a secret!

He knows we are doing something but has no idea what we have planned...

Come meet and eat candy, cookies and other assorted goodies at Marceline's Confectionery.

A small group of Dis'ers are meeting at 3.30pm outside Marceline's Confectionery at Downtown Disney and all are welcome to come along. I'll hold a sign with the Capt'n Jack Pirate Logo and I'll most likely be wearing a Dis Unplugged T-shirt.

In front of me is four large empty suitcase's, I was hoping if I look at them long enough, and think of the cruise, they will fill themselves of the clothes I wish to take, but the Suitcase Fairy seems to be on strike.

OK so I'm so excited and DH just thinks I'm nuts (and so is everyone else here). He just doesn't get the game... I wasn't even trying (just silently hoping). But then I saw I was 1000

My name is not common now, but it was for my age group. In 7th grade there were four of us with my name in my section. My English teacher called me "Linda by the Winda" and he actually remembered the nickname ten years after that!

I always thought it was interesting that just about every girl my age (35-ish now) is named Michelle, Amy or Lisa (there were at least 3 of each in all of my classes and teams) & our moms were all Judy, Linda & Bonnie (60-ish now).

(I'm not saying you are my moms age...I have no idea...)

I'm so jealous! So many of you are staying at WDW after the cruise!

I'm going from Port Canaveral to Orlando Airport and flying home to NY. I go to work the next day!!! I want to go on the cruise but there's a part of me that doesn't want to go....

Same thing here too, I'm back to work on the 2nd. At least DS doesn't start school until the 3rd.
