Mike - there is no end date listed on the DCL website. Just that it is valid for cruises up to the end of 2009.
The rule is that if you change your date later on the rest of the deposit is due at that time

If they are I will be cancelling our dummy 12/08 date onboard and rebook with the lower deposit.

If we leave a photo mat at guest services to be signed, and we want it signed in different colors, do we also need to leave our own sharpies?

We did, but we got cheap sharpie-esque markers at the dollar store, so that way, if they lost them, it didn't really matter. They came out soooo nice.

Hey Lisa! I actually just did this today. I figured I had to move it soon anyway since it is getting closer, so why not try to get the 1/2 price deposit.

Lisa - I just received a bunch of faxes tonight from the ship about people that rebooked onboard and they all had the 1/2 off deposit on them

You can postone indefinitely, if the rules don't change, but the rules of the 1/2 off deposit are that if you move the date the rest of the deposit will be due at that time. I will check with DCL tomorrow but those were the rules when they first offered this a few months ago

Yes. I recommend putting your last name on them too using the black sharpie. I also recommend writing on the back which side you want to be the top.
