DW had dreams last night - we're blaming the brownies and staying up too late.

Will no one rid us of this troublesome thread......?

I think everyone is eating a bit too much cheese before bedtime to get all these weird dreams.

I have a bad nightmare, I try to keep up with something moving very fast all day, then I go to bed and wake up early the next day, and have to try to catch up with it again, but its gone on over 30 pages and I feel I am drowning!!!

The doctor said, 1/ too much cheese, 2/ Go on a vacation 3/ Throw the laptop out?

..dear pbger....how's your summer? all packed?....* i remembered the
thundering herd...'s games..with the buckeyes. [ while i was forced..
by lil'sweetie pie..to wear..scarlet...& gray, underneath ..i had my old

..."the young thundering herd"..tee, he, he,..lil' , ain't I? though
they lost....both games [2004,5]....the "fact"..that marshall ..had
reach....a major plateau...[ playing national powerhouses] ..made me
think...of terry & dave.








agrrrr there any....michigan..state fans..going? & did you go with the
team...to orlando..last year? [ we rode..with the fellas.....on the
tower of terror....last christmas. ha! talk..about tweaking the scary
part, ..."they"...got..all excited...because...we "recgonized"..them
......& pointed them out to the crowd...oh, then we all ended up on
the rock/rooler coaster..together..weird?..or stalking..my wife's catty-
calls for the buckeyes,



speaking..of..."the OHIO STATE BUCKEYES"..& ther band....we also met
alot..the mich. state...fans..too.*they went to game in ohio stadium..last
year. not to sup[pose] to, but...they shared..how the band..made them
feel..over~ joy!

across..the country...it is exciting...watching......college football...& the
kids....supporting the traditions..passed on from generations to generations.

miami..the hurricanes'....sometimes....the press..has overplayed ..their
problems..its a great school...doing a great job...& sometimes...where
their players..are from.."poverty levels"..does not mean....they have no
value....& football..can give..them ..an opportunity..,they should be
supported. ( s. taylor's story.. ..but also encouraging..as he was
trying..to help pull others....into....seeking positive choices. God bless
him..for being a great role model & caring about those struggling with
..trying to escape...,. wouldn't it be neat..if some of those kids..
ended up playing..for miami? )

* miami vs..ohio state...& then usc vs. texas..were 2 of the bst games
i ever seen. in both cases..the outcome..were much more than the
points. i remember when he tossed his helmet...& the pieces..flew..
then trying to put it all back together. to me, there are always...2
teams...iam watching.."those..iam rooting for"...& " those i enjoy...
watching, "getting beat". * ..hi'ja blue..up north?...hey fans?!..anyone
..havin an extra...."yellow-schedule" tee..from ..last year & was going
to burn.....i liked to have one... jus saying, "rolleyes"



..any buffs' fans?.."gold & black"..wow!..one of the greatest regular
season upset..was colorado's bushwacking....the sooners...
..last year.


ha,ha, ha..nor was it missed.....the kansas ' reference...one time,
on top of pike's peak..., the guide..made the sane..observation...,
..over there..that "brown'..spot..is "kansas",






....... , sk8???..don't think..i'm not..a big..fan....of the service
academies! ..there nothing..like....falcon stadium...& letting the
falcons..flying over your head! remember..the afa...won the
cotton bowl..& finished...in the top 5?!...or the tme..they played
the buckeyes?... . who doesn't .. ...watching the
army/navy game!!

* one of my favorites...possessions..is my uncle's wwII ..."song & service

book....for ship and field. {1942}....it has washington's prayer for the nation.

..& illustrations..how to do military funerals..properly. and it has the national
anthem.....+ God bless American! . i think..father mike ..would really
like..the catholic..section...including mass. and some very old favorites' ..
nobody knows the trouble i've see. silent night.

when..i fall down..this little book always..lift my spirits. it's where i was
inspired...to recognized...faith.." what a person believes..in their hearts."

As for the docs advice, Sounds cheesy to me.

We shipped the girls off to CO this am - they left at 7 am to Colorado Springs where the in-laws have a cabin in Wetmore which is just outside of Florence - you all know that one - where SuperMax is?

Anyway, it was truly hard to do it this morning as this was the first time that any of my girls have flown without me. Didn't realize until this morning how much of a control freak I was. I can only hope that my oldest DD has learned how to manuver her and her sister (which don't always get along) and don't let anyone get to them. I turned out rather mild and quiet children. How? I have ABOSULUTELY NO IDEA! They must of been from a receissive gene!

Anyway, I did get a call from them saying they had landed and should be taxiing in at 9:02 this morning. The flight was only 2 1/2 hrs. The tough part was when DD April - remember her - she's the mole-removed, chipmunch swollen girl (had her wisdom teeth removed) who's still on medication? Yeah - well she just about cried when she realized - mom wasn't walking them into the terminal. I figured if I did - I would really lose it so I kissed them good-bye, hugged them both and jumped in the car and left. Figured it was like a band-aid - rip it off fast and it hurts less. YEAH RIGHT! Who am i Kidding!!!

Anyway, in honor of chat last night - had our resident magnet designer (THANKS RUMBLY TUMBLY!) personalize this for us "Curvalicious Wenches."

I like Vegas, funny its just been the top prize on a quiz I have been watching, I last went to Vegas pre Repo cruise in 2005, couldn't fit it in this time.

I found it much improved to when I first visited in the 90's, a lot more family friendly.

Where I live you are not allowed to smoke indoors -- not even in resturants. So, I am really NOT used to smelling like smoke 24/7. If my suitcase had spent the night in Vegas then I wouldn't be able to wear those clothes anywhere until they were all rewashed since they would smell of smoke.

when we go - I take 2 suitcases - one inside the other - I place the "nasty" clothes in there and at least they don't smell that bad. I too, hate the smell of smoke.

Nope. DH, DH's friend and I went a few years ago. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all of the casinos, but that's really it. We didn't enjoy the people shoving the 'cards' in our faces in the evenings and we don't enjoy gambling either... We bought a day pass for the shows/rides/etc in the Luxor where we stayed. We couldn't even do all of the simulator rides they were so bad. We managed to do 3 but they were never sinced right or anything.

I was beginning to think that everyone enjoyed going there! LOL!
To be honest. I've only been once - almost 4yrs ago I took oldest dd there for her 21st b-day. I picked The Venetian to stay at -- it looked nice in the pictures. It was a nice hotel and we did enjoy the show we saw at NY NY (Rita Rudner). DD would have loved to have gone ot one of the Circe De Soliel shows but, I was having a hard time finding one where everyone was clothed....
I did have fun hanging out with dd and that was the point of the trip - that and shopping! SHe loves to shop and it turned out that LV is one of the top shopping places! LOL!

Her dh won a trip there last month and they went a couple of weeks ago -- all they did was ride the roller coasters!

Hi everyone! I'm still 10 pages behind, but have a small problem and am hoping one of our group can help me out....

I'm packing DS9's pirate costume and realized that I don't have any glue for the facial hair (beard and mustache ). When he used them at halloween, they had peel-off areas that had the sticky stuff. Back then I realized I needed to pick up some of the special glue for that, but obviously, I totally forgot.

Is anyone else bringing the glue and would they be willing to give us a couple drops on pirate night? Please send me a PM or email (pdarrah@sprynet.com) if you can. Otherwise, does anyone have any suggestions on where to find the right type of glue? None of the halloween costume stores are open yet!

I tried to find new ones yesterday -- dh & I went shopping for a couple of hours... I need sunglasses with readers built it......I've never bought prescription sunglasses and now it is too late...my other sunglasses fell and the frame broke.
I did find out that Brighton's sunglass frames are Optical ready so....I can buy a pair there and then take them to get my prescription put in...
The only *readers* sunglasses I found were way too ugly and had rhinstones on them.

Well 3 hours later- no new sunglasses. Oh well. I will try not to lose cheap ones or pick some on our way.
