Hey all! Hope everyone had a good day. Since I only have 2 full weeks of work, I am going great guns to get everything done before we leave on the 14th. I guess I finally hit panic mode at work and at home. I have thrown some stuff in a suit case, so I'm concentrating on things we don't need right now.

Oh and my documents were waiting for me inside my screen door tonight! :banana: :banana: :banana:

Well I wanted to take it on the plane? I want to drink it on the 15th to toast our countdown 1 year to our wedding....so It would be gone on the 15th!

Chrissie, I think as long as it is in your checked baggage (that would be too much fluid to put in a carry on) and you wrap it super well, you are fine with that.

We have been told..but then again..it's anyones guess and since I have never done this...I can't confirm it. We were told if we did DCL that when they took our luggage the night before...it was supposed to be automatically moved to the bus.

Has anyone ever done this and can they tell me if this is what actually happens?

If you do not have transfers with DCL to the airport only, here is how it works regardless of where you are going.

DCL will take your luggage the night before, you will have to pick up your luggage in the terminal in the morning and go through customs. If you have transfers to WDW, you will then check in for the transfers to the resort (bus or van usually)
 
ATTENTION - PIRATES WHO ORDERED LANYARDS AND/OR PATCHES
I have 78 envelopes of lanyards/patches to hand out to my fellow pirates who ordered lanyards...I really would like to have as few as possible when I get to the terminal. I have several ways for you to pick them up:

If you are staying in the DL Resort area...I will have a room at the GC on Friday, the 15th... I know you will be at the parks but if on your way out or a small break in the evening - if you could come by the hotel and pick them up -it would be appreciated. Please send me a PM and I will provide you my cell number. I will be in the room from 6:00 P.M. - midnight. (Well..I will be there all night but awake until midnight) I will give you my cell # and you can give me a call and I will give you the room number. Between 7 - midnight..I can run them down to the lobby for you.

If you are in the DL Resort (any of the DL hotels or surrounding area) area staying .. you can send me a PM and I can make other arrangements to come by your hotel and drop them off. I would prefer not to leave them at the front desk as I do not want anything to get lost.

If I am having lunch/dinner with you ..I will bring yours with me.

If you are attending the EP or DTD mini meet - please send me a PM and I will bring it with me.

If you are doing the Doubletree Dining (Sat. Night) dining - I will bring it there - please send me a PM.

And finally..I will be in the terminal with those I could not drop off before hand. I will attempt to be near check -in but can not promise. I will have the pirate shirt on and my lanyard on as well...look for me! I will also be at the meet on Deck 10 at 2:00 p.m.

OMG, that is our family to a T.....DSs are 15 and DS11 has started what we refer to as "teen talk" or basically being disrespectful to a parent. Whenever he does it they say "Hello, have you met our mother? You are so dead". Usually it catches me so off guard that I start laughing which makes it hard to get mad at my baby, the 15yr olds on the other hand.........

I really hope that concierge is wrong about the times for early dining. They are usually 5:30, 5:45 and 6:00. That doesn't give us as much time for dinner as we have had with early in the past.



That's probably my mistake. I only assumed the times were 6:00, 6:15 and 6:30....as they are with late dinner. I've never done early dinner.
So if it is like you said ...5:30, 5:45 and 6:00....I mean, if that's the way it always is, then that's what it will be. My fault. I'm sorry. I just meant the 1st time's rotation is LAP, etc.

I know that we are very close to thetrip but did YAHOO have to post this as the top thing on my home page water saftey. Just what I needed:lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Reminds me when we were on our Hawaii cruise (14 days from Los Angeles to Hawaii and back) there was a very informative and nice gentleman on board to give a talk on ships that had sunk..primarily the Titanic. He gave the talk several times and they even played it on the TV...when I went to the Casino..I looked over and there was a slot machine called "The Titanic"...but the final straw was one afternoon while heading to meet my family bythe pool..I came out to hear the band playing..you guessed it.. "My Heart Will Go On" And everyone wondered why I was stressed out! :lmao:
 
I dont think 2 hours is enough time to clear the dinning room between early and late dining I think the leeway is 2 1/2 isnt it ????:confused3 :confused3

Sorry again for the major mess up. I wish I'd stayed online a little longer so I could have cleared up the mess sooner.

My guess is that since Stacy is in second dining she didn't pay attention to the times for early dining. The times are 5:30, 5:45 and 6:00 for early dining. I've corrected it above.
