So...did anyone receive a "free" stateroom upgrade? We knew they'd be far and few between, but thought I'd see at least a couple upgrade dances.

I don't think I saw any upgrades on this cruise .. my friend emailed me last night and she was upgraded on the Mexican Riviera Cruise last week.

I didn't know who she was but would recognize her voice..DD loves Kim Possible! I also found it interesting that she stared on Broadway as Belle.

Hopefully who ever they get will be polite and entertain everyone!

My son (15) is even more bummed now that I'm not bringing him. Apparently he likes Alex & AJ. Even DD18 says they're pretty cool.

Another Tween Entertainment Alert....

There is a thread on the main boards about the new Suite Life of Zack & Cody TV show (Suite Life on Deck - set on a cruise ship). Apparently the winner of the Radio Disney contest will be on the 8/28 Wonder with some of the "talent" & the first episode of the new show will premier on the Wonder sailing. The show is scheduled to premier (for all the little people) on Disney Channel 9/26.

I wonder if we will get a sneak peak as well??
My kids like the show and it is one that DH & I don't mind watching either.

Decided to do this one and then after this, I'm going to have to be mostly MIA until almost cruise time. I won't have much internet access at my Mom's.....and won't be back here until the 11th. The Moms arrive in Phoenix to begin our magical journey on the 15th...so that won't give me much play time. All these months, and I'm going to miss the most exciting parts! Carry on...I'll miss you....see you when I can!!

3) What's your favorite reading subject and or material? IE: Fav authors, topics or magazines? Used to read a lot of true crime, but moved away from that to light fiction for a while

4) Do you have any favorite snacks... any with a trade name? Poore Brothers Salt & Vinegar chips, Cheetos

5) What does HAPPINESS mean to you? Being healthy, being able to be calm and relaxed no matter where I am...and having fun...all of these either with my family or with friends

6) Do you sing in the shower? If so ... tell us what you last sang IF you can recall... Sometimes....I practice the National Anthem in case I ever get my nerve up to volunteer to sing it at our town's annual rodeo.

7) Tell us one interesting/odd fact about you. BORING! I only have 9 toe bones and my thumbs don't match....different shape, size and thumbprint

DD would be thrilled..she watches that show as well... it actually doesn't bother me as much as some of the shows would.

I think the number one thing...as a lot have said.....I won't miss figuring out what to make for dinner.
Making the beds
Picking up messes
Cleaning house
WORK...although most of it will still be waiting for me when I get back
Listening to the kids fight
Hearing my husband yell at the kids for not doing their chores or going over on their cell phones...but again, I'll hear all about THAT when I get back.

Wow just checking our SWA flights for the cruise... It's gone up $100 for the 2 of us to get to LAX, and the flight home from Orlando has gone up by $30. GEEZ Sure am glad we already bought them

I don't plan on using my phone except for emergencies, but I like to know before I got what they are going to get me for.

DH loves water, XS energy drinks, and Starbucks Frappachinos. For me, it's water, XS energy drinks, and Starbucks Ice Tea (I don't like coffee). I enjoy a good RED wine, but DH keeps to a rare beer

Love reading historical fiction and nonfiction. It's amazing how much we don't know or remember

Making the choice to love the life I'm living at the moment and being willing to make the changes necessary to improve my future

I have sung for our little league and tournaments for a number of years. The shower has the best accustics to help me hit the notes . . .LOL

I've been the oldest child, the youngest child, the middle child and an only child . . . I was the oldest of my parents' 4 children. My parents divorced when I was 10. For a number of years it was just me and my mom. My mom married a great guy with two older kids (making me the youngest). When all my siblings and step - siblings were together, I was in the middle . . .how weird is that!

I missed these and since I'm not particpating in the FE . . . do my answers still count? I love reading these from everyone else. Can't wait to see you face to face (or at least across the ship . . .LOL)
