Anyways..update on the postcards..I still have 11 left..so if anyone is interested..PM me your kid's names and address and I will send them out on Saturday when I go to Anaheim to bathe.

Good idea. I think I'll try and hit Target this weekend. And eek, I didn't think about the shoes. I wonder if I can find a cheap pair of nicer shoes, I'm guessing his sneakers or crocs won't cut it.

I got DS a pair of cheaper nice shoes at Target - around $30, which for mens dress shoes I thought was really reasonable. I also got him a couple of pairs of pants - they were having a sale about a week or so back and they had khaki's for $15 - smallest waist they had was a 30 and DS is a 28 but with his belt they stay up and he wears a polo shirt most nights so you can't see the waist anyway.

Laura - have you tried Old Navy. I know I'm in Canada but they must have relatively the same stock. I got a couple of nice dress pants for my son there last year (lucked out and they'll still do for this cruise). They have adjustable waists. He's wearing them with a few nice short sleeve shirts.

I actually tried Old Navy last weekend and the size 7s were too short but the 8s were way too big at the waist. He's just in that awkward phase now. Should be really fun when I take him to buy his school uniforms this weekend.

Hey Todd - did you get your magnetic paper already??? I saw your feedback for the seller and was wondering. I ordered last Friday and still haven't received it yet.

We just got some magnetic paper at Staples. We bought the staples brand, gloss white. It works great! Just straight into the printer!

I've got the 2 Mickeys and the 2 princesses ones and have successfully kept myself from getting the Pooh ones until they are on sale!

Spoke to Cheryl around 5:30 and he is fine. Going home tonight and she will probably be home tomorrow.

So good to hear! Cheryl showed me her cruise pile so she is ahead of the packing game.

The best thing that's happened since my son turned 15 and has gotten almost as tall as his dad is that for one thing, he can wear his shirts and jackets....and .....Target now sells suit jackets! A whole lot cheaper than getting one at a department store.

CRUISE QUESTION!!!



Okay....finally got around to trying to pack up the wine and Pepsi. Won't fit in a rolling duffel....so I'm using an old suitcase that I'll just leave on the ship. Maybe some CM will need one.
Anyway.....the darn thing is REALLY heavy. Really really heavy. I can barely lift it.
SO.....will the porters take it and check it in, or will I have to haul it all over until our room is ready??? Do they have a weight limit??

I've never taken wine, just a few Pepsi's.......

I'm planning on lugging.

I'm packing a separate suitcase for the "HoJos, DL & bus to the port" clothes. That will give me an empty suitcase for liquid refreshment (&popcorn & candy for the movies). Those DCL bag handlers are brutal & I don't trust they can get the bag to the room without having the dcl gorilla stomp on it.
