Hey Debi...I'm Debi!I was thinking of doing that too, but I still think I'm too old and my stomach is definitely not flat enough - my girls say go for it mom. But I did get my first tattoo about a month ago, at 48 years old, and the guy who did it said I should get my belly button pierced. Anyway, the tattoo hurt like a bad sunburn for about 2 weeks. Think I am having a midlife crisis!![]()

Me too...ever since I have had kids I tear up at all the milestones in their life, even now. DSeaU graduation, Dreams show, Til we Meet again, sadly enough, while we were eating breakfast right before we left the ship last time, I was sitting there crying. Yes, I know ridiculous. But I knew that the cruise we had just finished would be special because of the things we had done that time and the ages the kids were at that time. Next time (this trip) would be different because they would be older, maybe wouldn't want to do as much with us, and just a different experience. They were happy tears, but I felt so silly sitting there crying. It goes back to "Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion."![]()
My favorite Disney memory ever is when my DD was 2. We were leaving the park after a long day from our second trip to DL. Right before we were headed into the train tunnel to exit the park, Mickey came over and gave her a big hug and shook her hand. I told Mickey that he was her favorite and he grabbed her hand and motioned for us to follow him. He took her to the annual pass center inside the park and at that time they put your picture on it. Well, he had them take his picture with her and put it on a plastic card and gave it to us. I still have that card and think it is the coolest thing ever. She looked so cute walking next to him and holding his hand. I don't think I remembered to get a picture of that part, but it is cool.![]()
So yes, if you see me crying at some point during the cruise, it will probably be tears of joy because I am a little too emotional sometimes. (yes, my husband appreciates it as well).![]()
...How was the cake? I was thinking of surprising Brendan with this for our room?
Chrissie
Hey Michelle![]()
Not a stupid question![]()
Stace had a picture of someone with a clothes line on their verandah so it can be done. You don't want to do it on Panama Canal day and probably not your underwear![]()
I forget who it was that used S-shaped hooks to hang wet bathing suits out there![]()
Anyone know if a magnetic clothes line would work![]()
Someone may have already mentioned this, but I thought I'd share it anyway.
Samantha Brown's Weekend Getaway's Show is doing Cabo TONIGHT at 10:30 PM EDT on Travel Channel. The previews show lots of shots of the Canyon Zip Line Adventure.
DH is bummed b/c he is at work, but I'm going to report to him on it . . .
Thought it might be helpful for some other pirates
Have a wonderful day!![]()
Attended the funeral for my friend today. I was blown away when I drove up to the church and the only available parking was 2 blocks away. Then got inside and it was like a high school reunion. Many people traveled quite a distance to be there.
There was a picnic afterwards that I didn't go to, in the hopes that I would get a call from the potential employer. Since I never got a confirmation call yesterday, and there as some talk of it being at 4:30 today, I stayed home just in case they called. Well, they didn't, so no interview and no life celebration with old friends.

All the posts of the magic's horn today...

Hi everyone
I tendered my resignation today...I have mixed emotions...I will miss the kids and feel awful I could not say good bye...but it was time...
Chrissie
Is it August yet?
I really need a vacation after today. First off, I had to come into work early to pull a 12 hour shift. Before that I had to take my cat to the vet and my car completely died half way there. Then once I got there I had to put my cat down. And then on top of it, I wasn't able to go to Disneyland today. For you that don't know, today is Disneyland's Birthday.
Happy Birthday Disneyland!
This is the first time in 9 years that I haven't been there to celebrate its birthday there.
I'm finally feeling a bit better today, starting to get my voice back and trying to catch up on the boards. I don't get sick very often, but this thing has kicked my butt this week. I'm glad its now rather then next month.
Tough day today......anyone up for virtual drinking buddies???
Sounds good! It'll keep me on track.... Not sure how that'll work with the stroller though!
OK so I talked to DCL this morning...Then the TA emailed and said there was an upgrade available from a 12 to 11 (for a price, of course) so we took it and got it all situated with the TA.... Only to get an email from the TA a few minutes ago saying that apparently DCL got their wires crossed and there was never a room....

We're right across the elevator lobby in 8582 and 8584.
Howdy Neighbor, we're 8586
Thanks!
Well I am going away from a place that I am not appreciated...(appreciated by kids but not necessarily the ones that should show it)A big stress relief...
I am getting more hours at another job (with kids),have a PT job at Bed and Bath and I will be able to focus on my PERSONAL artwork...It's a good thing and knowing of this change I can fully enjoy our TOAL w/o the dread of going back to that place....
Chrissie
you are such a lovely lady...only good things will come your way

HEE HEE I forgot to mention! I came up with DH's personal theme for this cruise.
Back through the Canal - More Rum, Less Coke
Last time he want through the canal he was prize crew of a fishing vessel they busted with 2.5 tons of cocaine onboard - but no rum!
This time, presumably no coke, but lots of rum!
Cherie has finished Mr. Cotton's outfitJust need to do some distressing and add some dirt.
